  1. Chargers actually used their own 2nd round choice to pick Brees. The trade is Falcons got 2001 #1 overal (Vick) Chargets got 2001 #5 overal (LT) + 2001 3rd round, #67 (T.Cody) + 2002 2nd round, #48 (R.Caldwell) + T.Dwight
  2. I know Marv already have some cap space to work with and will get more by cutting players and reconstructing contracts. I was just wondering if Bills will be rewarded Adams' 2005 LTBE in 2006 cap for extra 1.25M, which basically comes free. 1.25M is not much, but may get us another quality FA.
  3. I don't have the detail of Sam Adams' contract, but I read somewhere that his LTBE counted about 1.25M toward 2005 cap. Since he didn't play much and probably didn't achieve his LTBE to earn the money, doesn this mean Bills will reward the 1.25M cap in 2006? In other words, will Bills' 2006 cap be 1.25M higher than others?
  4. No, you're not the only one. I keep thinking of A.Brooks when seeing Young play.
  5. This is correct, STL game matters. Bills schedule: Houston 2-13 ( at. SF) Tampa Bay 11-5 Atlanta 8-8 New Orleans 3-13 Miami 9-7 NY Jets 4-12 Oakland 4-12 New England 10-6 Kansas City 10-6 San Diego 9-7 Carolina 11-5 Miami 9-7 New England 10-6 Denver 13-3 Cincinnati 11-5 NY Jets 4-12 SOS: 128-127 pending on SF-Hou game outcome, the final SOS can be 128-128 or 129-127 ========================= Rams schedule: San Francisco 3-12 (vs. Hou) Arizona 5-11 Tennessee 4-11 (at Jac) NY Giants 11-5 Seattle 13-3 Indianapolis 14-2 New Orleans 3-13 Jacksonville 11-4 (vs. Ten) Seattle 13-3 Arizona 5-11 Houston 2-13 (at SF) Washington 9-6 (at Phi) Minnesota 8-7 (vs. Chi) Philadelphia 6-9 (vs. Wash) San Francisco 3-12 (at SF) Dallas 9-6 (at Dal) SOS: 119-128 Because several of Rams' opponents face each other in the afternoon, Rams SOS is actually 122-131 and can be 122-134 to 125-131. In other words, Rams' SOS will be weaker than Bills' and draft before Bills in they have same records.
  6. Does anyone know the detail of the new contract ?
  7. Can Josh play O-line or D-line?
  8. Sorry for your loss.
  9. Look at Vikings' schedule, it's easier than Jags. Vikings should and will make to the playoffs, but Tice doesn't deserve to win any awards.
  10. With our remaing opponents, NE, DEN, CIN, and NYJ, our record will probably be 5-11 and get a top 10 pick. Any O-line worths a top-10 pick? Do we draft a CB to replace NC?
  11. But.... But ..... Even we tie NE at 7-6, our last three games are vs. DEN at. CIN at NYJ comparing to NE's vs. TB at NYJ vs. MIA It still doesn't look good for our playoff chances. It'll be lucky if we win 2 out of 3, on the other hand, NE should easily win 2 games and probably 3.
  12. I would say the play before that FG. Hansen's come-from-behid tackle saved a sure touchdown when the score was 35-31. On that play, Hansen jumped to block Moon's pass and was puched by Oilders' OL. He fell upside down, but got up to chase Oilders' Harris immediately after he hit the ground. No other Bills defenders had chance to tackle Harris and It'd be a heartbreaking touchdown for all Bills fans if not Hansen. He saved the day and the greatest comeback.
  13. IT depends on which kind of franchise tag Bills will use on Clements. With exclusive franchise tag, Clements can not talk to other teams and will remain in Bills next season . With non-exclusive franchise tag, Bills have the right of first refusal or get two first round choices if Clements signed with another team.
  14. But some impatient BIlls fans will ask for Matt Leinart if Losman doesn't improve quick enough.
  15. Why do you keep bringing up number of posts?? It doesn't mean anything.
  16. The first O-Play of the game is too hard to predict. The last O-Play of the game is much easier: JP Losman kneels for -1 yard.
  17. It was a close game, and Culpepper gave the game to Bucs. I watched the game. Bucs' defense looked pretty good, Losman will have quite a challenge next week. Their offense was ok, it's Griese and Galloway won the game, not C.Williams. Other than Williams' 71-yard TD run when the game was basically over, he didn't impress me at all. I expect a low scoring game next week.
  18. When he played in a flag game at last year's pro bowl with Marino, Young, Allen, Green, and some retired players, Andre was in a great shape. It certainly looked like he can still play. Maybe he doesn't mind to play our 3rd WR this weekend to replace another Reed.
  19. I don't worry about Preston. But if there's any injury to our C or G on Sunday, Geisinger is the next in line to play. Based on how he played in preseason, I don't trust him at all.
  20. any good website? I can't find it at pro-football-reference.com.
  21. I don't see us taking 7 WRs (including Parrish) and only 4 CBs. We probably need the 5th CB more than the 6th WR.
