  1. Volek's agent was Ken Staninger when he signed the deal last year. This means Rosenhaus hasn't earned any money by representing Volek so far, just like in TO's case. Rosenhaus wants to get paid, so he urges Volek to seek trade and a new contract. If he cares Volek, he'll tell Volek that he has good chance to start more games than McNair this year and becomes the full-time starter next year. But no, he doesn't care Volek, he only cares how to get more money.
  2. No first round pick last year? Wasn't Evans the 13th overall pick last year?
  3. Can Eagles really trade TO? I doubt they are able to absorb the cap hit since TO is only on the second year of the sever year contract.
  4. this's a sad day, prayer to the Kelly family. Little Hunter is in a better place now.
  5. Even WIth the best shot, it is still only 6.25% to get the first pick.
  6. I miss our former pro-bowl left guard, I only need to think the underrated player when he was around. Now everyone cannot agree on the most Overrated player any more.
  7. Right, I shouldn't say "all the time"., I should just say F1 CAN change tires.
  8. Michelin claims the tire can be used for 10 laps if it was used at top speed on the 13th turn. So if the dirvers wanted to use it at top speed, they can change it for every 8 laps, or like I said, drive slower. And no, they can change tires, as long as using the same branch. F1 changes tires all the time at pit stops. However, the rule states they can't change to different branch of tires. Again, no, you guess wrong. I'm no happy about the race, so I said "What a joke". And no, I'm not a fan of any F1 teams, I just do some researches to understand the whole thing. At least, I know they can change tires during the race. Michelin never complained when they had advantage on other speedways and won all the races before US Grand Prix. And when they have one disadvantage on one race ( need to drive slower on one turn ), they want the rules to be changed so they can still win.
  9. The 'helmet' example is very different to this situation. It is not like the tire will explore immediately if the dirvers use it. It is unsafe when they keep using the Michelin tires at high speed on the last turn. As I said, there're alternative ways to make sure their safety, like drive slower on that turn or change tires more frequently. But doing so, it'll make the drivers less competitive, which they don't want to sacrifice even to keep them safe. The seven teams using Michelin tires do know drive slower on the last turn can make them safe, but they don't want to slowdown just themselves. Thus, they asked FIA to break the rule to add a chicane on the last turn so "all teams" are forced to drive slower on that turn. And of course, their request was rejected. If it was the only solution to insure safety, the rules need to be changed right away. However, it is not the case here.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?s...s=f1&id=2089850 14 out of 20 cars boycotted the United States Grand Prix on a tire dispute. Michelin claim their tires are not safe at top speed on the last turn of the speedway and requested FIA to change rules. This is crazy!! Don't ask the officials to adjust rules one day before the game because you are not good enough. How can't they just drive slower on that turn or change tires more frequently? Maybe we should ask NFL to award us 10 points per touchdown because we have a first year QB.
  11. isn't Ryan Leaf the worst pick in NFL history?
  12. any idea? I think the answer is 2, but not 100% sure.
  13. TD just let Bucs sign Akili Smith two weeks ago and never try to sign Ryan Leaf as JP's backup. Fire him !!!!!!!!!!!
  14. twice? With the rate Jennings got injured last few years, we should only face him once per year
  15. 2nd round pick?? Even the 7th overall pick is not enough for Takeo. If Takeo is involved in any trade, I'll expect Bills get someone called Peyton or LaDainian.
  16. Right, the point is Raiders can not lift the f-tag now. They just restructre Cannon's contract and plan to release Middleton, Parrella, Stone, and R.Williams to get under the cap on 3/2. But if they're going to make the Moss trade, they'll have to create another 7.25M cap space. This is where Woodson's signing hurts them, lifting the franchise tag is no longer an option for Raiders.
  17. Let's see if there's any Woodson trade before 3/2. If not, Raiders'll be in big big trouble. If you tried to use franchise tag to get some compenstation of a player, you have to take the risk that the player signs the offer immediately to mess your cap. People who claimed that Bills should use f-tag on Jennings to get something from him always said no one signed the one year offer so early, so there's no worry. And see what happened to Raiders now.
  18. I think you may misunderstood my post. I know our transaction tag was used on Moulds several years ago and we can't use that tag before his contract is up. My point is that, each clue can use "one franchise tag and one transaction tag" or "two transaction tags". Therefore, if Bills don't use franchise tag at all, we'll have a transaction tag available this offseason. As for JJ, there's a possibility he signs the one-year contract. No matter what the chance you think it is, if he somehow chose to sign, we're screwed.
  19. Each team can use one franchise tag and one transaction tag or choose to use two transaction tags, so Bills do have a transaction tag available this offseason if they don't use franchise tag at all. As for lifting the franchise tag or transaction tag, there is one scenario you didn't mention, which is that JJ can decide to sign the one-year contract after we tag him and cause "havoc" to our salary cap.
  20. Colts signed Brown to their practice squad after he reached the injury settlement with Bills. I believe Bills weren't allowed to sign him back then.
  21. Sorgi is still the No.2 QB, but we may need Travis Brown's help in the end. Now, I start to worry the Colts/Broncos game.
  22. Right, and remember how Price does in Atlanta when no one draws double coverage from him. Evans is a good #2 WR now, but he is not yet as good as Moulds.
  23. That's lots of weed !! Ricky will declare bankrupt next to keep all of his weed
