I agree, just make the OT as such that they play the whole time and whoever has the most points at the end wins. As many possessions as you can fit in the allotted quarter. If the league doesn’t want ties after OT is played, then if teams are still tied after OT, just have the kickers each kick from 55 yards, each alternating until one beats the other in their turns. Meaning, if the first kicker makes it, the other teams kicker makes it, then if the first kicker misses their 2nd kick and the other teams kicker makes their 2nd kick, they win.

Anything less than 101 is a fail.

This is where I’m at. I’m paying whoever has the better year. If Knox shows he can be a huge reliable target for us, he is worth the money.

Our teams weakness is lack of heart. How often do we hear about the commitment level from players outside of Allen, Diggs, Davis, and White? Why do we never hear stories about our o-linemen being gym rats and studying film, soaking up knowledge without being asked (Allen tight end school), or our d-linemen? Elam so far seems to be another proactive player (playbook monster), so it’s glad to hear that. What about our other rookies?

This team has lacked nastiness for a long time. Not saying Mongo is what was needed, because he isn’t. But I’m finding myself agreeing overall with the sentiment. Some of these guys probably just treat it like a job and go home without thinking about it. Fans seemed to be way more involved/concerned than players ever will be. I’m not sure anyone cares more than Allen and Diggs. Which sucks, because everyone on the team should be as determined as those two.

I mean he isn’t exactly wrong. Outside of Allen, Diggs, and Davis , this offense and team leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to passionate play. Edmunds doesn’t exactly inspire fanaticism or many players on D for that matter. Watching players like Bruuuuce, and what we have on D is like light years differences. I’m hoping Von Miller can at least bring the spark we desperately need on that side of the ball. There were many instances throughout the year of this zombie going through the motion vibe. So I can understand where Mongo is coming from. The Jags game looked like we didn’t even care to be there.

I’ve requested that the mods create a “Around the NFL” sub forum so people have a place to discuss it. We have a college football subform, and I don’t understand why we don’t have a general NFL subform. We have other nfl threads here that don’t even pertain to the Bills. At least this thread pertains to the Bills twice a year.

No way am I keeping Moss over Duke. Moss has shown nothing of value.

With White coming back and with the addition of Elam, plus Poyer on a contract year, our secondary is going to be much stronger. This is going to allow Miller, Rousseau and Oliver to feast. I expect Rousseau and Oliver to continue to improve and maybe even substantially so. I think this defense will be feared, and it will be be so good that I see multiple sub 15 defensive allowed point games. This is the year we win a super bowl and it will be because our offense is near unstoppable and our defense is lights out.

Just create an around the NFL sub form and move this thread to there. Problem solved. Locking threads don’t accomplish anything because someone will eventually start a related thread when it can just be discussed here.

No, my pitch was we play the jets twice a year and a Breece Hall thread is relevant to the Bills. People can get an idea how much or how little of a threat he is based on his production throughout the year. This thread was already created, why lock it and just let people post related material in here when they want? It’s not hurting anything. If a mod want to move this thread, they can move it to around the nfl or something. No since I’m locking it just to have someone start a new thread on the same thing. We have plenty of other non bills still that has even less involvement then this thread.

Why lock it? If people want to follow his career, they can just do so here without creating new topics and wasting space.

Who said anything about rooting for the Jets. I’m not rooting for the Jets to win. I’m only rooting for Breece Hall to have a good game and still lose. I have no reason to root against Breece Hall as a player.

We had 18.3 PPG allowed last year. What makes you guys think we take a step backwards after we added Miller and Elam and have another years experience with Rousseau and Oliver? Plus we are getting White back.

Not sure how we can say that though. There hasn’t been a record since 2013 and Mahomes didn’t beat the record while having Kelce and Hill at his disposal.
