  1. I like it but I think there’s probably about a 25% chance Jamison is there. take the best rated IOL, CB or WR on your board at 25 and do the same in rd 2, eliminating the position you chose in the 1st
  2. The favorite one I’ve done so far. I traded 25 and a 5th for 26 and a late 3rd: 26 (via trade down) McDuffie CB 57 Rhyan OG 89 (via trade) Lindstrom OC 90 Austin III WR 130 Kyle Philips WR 185 Jolly CB 203 Araiza P 231 Price, RB
  3. They can still extend Diggs and create significant cap savings - up to $12ish million I would guess can also extend/restructure a couple of others; poyer, Dawkins are a couple that come to mind
  4. Beane will probably do something like this; extend the contract a year, adding a salary of say $4m to 2023 and converting $5m of the $6m 2022 salary into a signing bonus. The cap would then be: 2022: $3.5m 2023: $6.5m lowers the cap hit and gives you a solid backup for two years not just one
  5. Love jerry but if we don’t move anybody out (Epenesa) there’s no room for him
  6. Agreed BUT is much easier to have a man to man corner play zone than a zone corner (like wallace) play man to man. If healthy, Gilmore is going to be good in any scheme but he’ll still likely get $10m+ which is too rich for our blood. I Iike Peterson, Rhodes or maybe even Seymour on a 1 year cap friendly deal or a 2 year deal to spread out the signing bonus
  7. Full disclosure, I’m biased as he was a friend of my sons at wake forest, but walker III will be as good as Hall
  8. I’d Dotson is who you want there’s no reason not to take him at 25. 4.47 is plenty fast and although he’s smaller than ideal he’s got the best hands in the draft. NOW if Williams or either of the Ohio state WRs fall to 25 i jump at that first but Dotson will have a very good career and has the background the bills look for
  9. Love him but got to think the off the field stuff - a lot initiated by himself- along with his decreased abilities led to this. They probably also asked him to take a pay cut which I’m sure he refused. The fact he came up empty looking for a trade says all that needs to be said. 31 teams wouldn’t even give up a 7th for him there’s a receiver from UCLA that we could probably get in the 4th (certainly the 3rd) - can’t remember his name - who would be a perfect replacement
  10. Dane played better down the stretch than Wallace and there’s a great chance we sign a veteran cb anyway and pick one at 25 or latest at 57. Btw, last time we picked a cb in the 1st round it was Trey and he was picked a couple of picks later than 25…… in Beane we trust
  11. Trust in Beane. If doesn’t re-sign him there’s a reason. Plus who knows if he fits in well with the new Oline coach??
  12. Kenneth walker III is better and will go around the same range- early to late 2nd
  13. Highly highly doubtful- you don’t take a guard in the first You take a cb or wr. You can find starting guards in rd 3 and 4. He’s not a guard but look at brown taken in the 3rd last year
  14. You know what….call me crazy but I think I’ll trust Beane’s analysis here.
  15. On to Clowney or a Hunter trade…..
  16. Yep and rumor has it haslam was torn with choosing baker or Allen…..thank God
  17. Johnny Hekker.
  18. Sal of WGR basically reported don’t be surprised if the Bills are after Donte Jackson, CB CAR - speed guy 4.2, really good in zone, has had injuries, played at LSU with Tre intriguing….
  19. I would love to see your posts if you were a fan of another team (who has serious holes. come’on - we’re-7 hours into free agency and Beane brought back our slot receiver, got a top 3 receiver out of the backfield (and maybe the top pass protection back) and solidified our interior D. DB pick 25 and Cheap UFA vet WR pick 57 and cheap UFA vet Edge - UFA feeling chandler Jones LB - ??? Draft, Hardly a hole - you’re worried about Replacing Klein…..really? TE draft and/or UFA - every day Gronk doesn’t sign with TB makes our case stronger QB - really? If Josh gets hurt for a significant time we’re f*cked no matter who we sign. Come on home Fitzy and a late project QB in the draft
  20. I wasn’t a fan of his (look at the games at the end of the season - teams were targeting him and not Dane) BUT for an UFA he’s been a huge overachiever. $4m per is really low if true. pick 25 CB pick 57 WR
  21. My guess for next signing- Johnny Hekker
  22. It’s pretty easy to make cap space for a Chandler like signing by extending Diggs and/or restructuring white/Dawkins, etc. as for the need for a cb and speed wr, you draft those two in rounds 1 and 2. It’s not like it’s a sure thing but Tre White was pick 28 overall
  23. Being in the mix for ogbah (or whatever his name is) means we’re big game hunting at DE. Chandler Jones or Clowney…come on down at some point we’ll need to sign a 2nd QB - hate the idea of Cam, love the idea of Fitz Gronk hasn’t resigned with TB and Sal says Gronks friends are always trying to get him to sign with Buffalo. Imagine if he signed with buffalo and won a SB. He’d be more of a TE God than he already is. Not likely but the longer he stays unsigned the better Biffalo’s chances. Still TB>retirement >Buffalo
  24. You can go over the cap with signings as long as your cap compliant at the beginning of the nfl year
