Somethings GOT to be done a the interior o line
Turbo44 replied to TheBeaneBandit's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trade market is slim for OL I imagine but would love an OL and a CB in a trade -
I didn’t like a couple of throws he made and that sack on the 2nd to last drive should have been avoided but if you don’t think we have an excellent QB who played great again today, I recommend watching any other nfl game. omg what wound this board do if he played like Herbert did yesterday or mayfield had all season I would have liked him to take the snap out the shotgun so he could pick the direction to run BUT he’s gold on 95% of qb sneaks. Dawkins got blown up, Josh has no chance

What is up with Bass and no run up to kick off?
Turbo44 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
It worked well until the last kickoff. it Also Opens up the possibility of a fumble. Obviously the Bills thought they had the advantage on the area and with an average drive start at the 22 you’d have to say it worked -
Absolutely disagree - i thought Edmunds was fine and I’m not a big Edmunds fan. I thought the defensive strategy of giving tanehill easy 8 yd throws was the downfall. If the D makes any of those stops on 3rd /4th down in the second half, we win

Josh’s biggest flaw tonight is he didn’t play defense too. D had been great all year but sh*t the bed tonight. You put up 31 points on the road you should win

10/18/21 Gameday Bills @ Titans Postgame thread
Turbo44 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah 75% completion rate 3 tds, 2 point conversion catch. int wasn’t his fault and did this with no resemblance of a running game yep there’s a lot to hate about Josh’s game tonight….my are we spoils b*tches -
Great game - Dawkins got blown up an Allen slipped. fck the refs too and these announcers were fkn horrible Im sure it was mentioned here but on Henry’s 75 yd td poyer was absolutely grabbed by the shoulder bad and held back. No call smiths hold on the kickoff td was unfortunate- it was certainly a hold (that was ignored all game) but that guy wasn’t getting near McKenzie anyway
-
LJ doesn’t worry me - colts D melted down - whole secondary was backups and line got no pass rush. Given up that long td pass to brown was criminal. LJ is mistake prone and you put pressure on him, which we would with our rotating 8 flat, and he would make mistakes

This review was great but could have been twice as good…..

Not sure how Indy can allow for a long TD pass like that up 22-3. If anything make Lamar drive the field

Where would Rousseau have gone had he played? [in college in 2020]
Turbo44 replied to whorlnut's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah boogie definitely is a buffalo type guy. Rousseau sure seems like one too -
Rookie Josh Allen vs Rookie Zach Wilson
Turbo44 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh had/has intangibles in spades, even obvious in his first year and not sure Wilson has it and am positive Darnold does not. Darnold almost single-handedly lost Carolinas last game to PHI, a game a contending team can never lose -

Cool thing about Boogie is he grew up in Roanoke Va, where my nephew played against him in HS, then he went to Wake Forest where my son goes to college. High high character guy -
Only 5 games in BUT surely looks like the AFC is buffalo or The chargers, with the Browns and Chiefs in the next tier
-
If that was a forward lateral, home run throwback was REALLY REALLY a forward lateral.
-
He wasn’t down it’ll be a Indy TD. Just another crucial Lamar mistake.

He’s on pace for 10 sacks which would be extremely impressive. The thing I like even more about him though is his run defense, which has been outstanding. He had a key stop for loss on 3rd and 2 in the first half and has a Multiple stop for losses this year. His football IQ seems off the charts. -
It was RT or RG just tackled the colt pass rusher from behind. Inconsistency in refereeing is mind numbing

9/26/21 Bills vs. WTF Postgame Thread
Turbo44 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes I believe the fine is like $500, I could be wrong it might be more. Byw, loved John Brown (would sign him to the practice squad now) but sanders could be our 1990 James Lofton -
Spencer brown has never played guard in his life. You’d have to put him at RT and move Williams in to guard, but last time Williams played guard he was really bad

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - And, We're Off!
Turbo44 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't watch a game on Sunday where Bib Ben was good?? He hit for 56%, had one INT called back on a phantom hold and nearly had two other deflected INTs. He led Pittsburgh to 3 first downs in the first half. He looked shot to me. Pittsburgh didn't win because of Ben -
Josh Allen is everything I wanted Jack Eichel to be. If Jack was 50% JA I would have been happy. Alas….we’ll Enjoy JA.
-
you want a 2nd rounder who had a great game today cut? At least one sack, many pressures and a blocked kick. Guessing you’re joking?
