  1. I answered yes, but only because I trust Beane. If he feels the talent there is worth trading up for, I won't be upset.

  3. Hey everyone, I just wanted to get ahead of this before we do our TSW Mock Drafts. The question is in the title. Would you trade our #1 pick in 2025 to move up to get one of the top 5 WR's in this draft? Based off the trade charts, that would move us up to the 17 or 18th pick. Feel free to defend your answer in the comments. Thanks in advance
  4. Hey everyone, it's about that time for us to have our 3 TSW Mock Drafts. My goal is to have the sign-up sheets out this Friday or Saturday, with the Mock 1.0 starting on Monday (giving people Easter off). A few years back, we had some people help support the drafts by creating player breakdowns, BPA's, and just other context. I'm writing this to see if anyone wants to volunteer to support? I'm looking for 1 or 2 people that can help create a google doc that can be accessed by all, and then maintained by the creator live. So it needs to be someone who can keep up with the picks for the most part. Specifically, I'm hoping to find people who can help make: Position of Need per team - Just a one pager that lists all 32 teams and what positions they are looking for in the draft. This shouldn't be done at the opinion of who makes the sheet, but take the time to review multiple local articles for that team and create a consensus. Player Rankings - Someone who can list player rankings for incoming rookies. This sheet would break them out, both by position, and overall ranking. Basically, there'd be a list of each position and a rank beside them that shows their rank by position and overall BPA. For example, Caleb Williams might be QB 1, but BPA 2 behind Marvin Harrison. I would also like the rankings to be based off CBS Sportsline or ESPN, since those are both accessible by most posters here. Trade Commissioner - This one is optional. I typically do this role, but I'm fine with letting someone else do it if they want. Basically, all trades need to be approved by this person via PM with both involved teams. For this draft, we will use the standard trade chart value sheet. Once those are made, a link will be made to the google doc to help any GM's making their pick (or me if I have to make the pick for them). For those who volunteer, if any, I will require you to be in good standing on this board, same as I do for Mock GM's.
  5. Can you imagine if they announced a dome stadium for 1.7 billion? I almost wish they would. This place would be super entertaining
  6. I don’t see in your statement where is shows McD is feeling pressure? Are you saying he should be feeling the pressure? If so, you should update your title.
  7. This should be interesting. They get lake effect snow as well. If they get a domed stadium that comes within 500 mil of our price tag and the PSL's are less....watch out
  8. I don’t understand how the government or the legal system has the right to tell any business how they have to offer their software. If Apple was a monopoly, then sure. But Android has a huge market share. Personally, I’m glad they added usb-c and I hope they integrate iMessage and sms. But I believe that’s apples decision to make, no one else’s.
  9. I interpret that differently. I take it as he doesn't want to be traded and he has no interest in giving money back. He knows he can't be moved with is contract as is. We aren't eating that dead money with nothing in return.
  10. Either on Twitter or Instagram, someone recommended that Diggs restructure his deal to help the team or facilitate a trade. Diggs responded personally and said "nope"
  11. I'm just getting into draft mode in prep for the TSW mock draft. Trades make it more interesting 😜
  12. I'm thinking more of trading a 1st in 2025 to get into the 2nd round of this draft. Imagine getting Sweat, a #1 WR, and another staring position of need (C/G, S, DE) now. We know we need those roles for the future and this draft has them in abundance.
  13. Listen man, if you're going to come at me with logic and reason, then I just don't know how to talk to you. To your point though, I'm basing this on the eye test as much as anything else. I don't know how to even look up the stats for average yards in the air prior to completion. I think Allen's turnovers this year were a big factor in the stats you listed and not being in sync on the few deep balls they tried. We definitely incorporated more passed out of the backfield.
  14. This might be the one year I'm okay with trading our 1st in the following draft to move up. We have a good understanding of what our gaps are for the next few years, so if Beane see's someone he can lock up now, go for it.
  15. WGR was talking about him as a DT. In the game against us, Johnson was huge in shutting down our run game and is a complimentary DT. Johnson seems capable of playing alongside Ed or Jones, but specifically effective on running down.
  16. I'd argue the only part of the passing game that has declined is the deep ball. With the addition of our run game this past season, the numbers were bound to go down and they really didn't drop that much. I'd also argue the lack of deep ball came from the shift in opposing defensive focuses to a cover 2 look. Most passing teams saw the same decline in deep passes. Now, to support your comment. When we did go against Cover 1, we didn't really have the guys who could win off the line and create separation.
  17. Good breakdown. In your opinion, who fits the mold of a X receiver in this draft and how many are there?
  18. If only 5 receivers get drafted in the first round (as I've seen in some mocks), and we can gain an additional 3rd round to drop back a little, I'm all for trading back. That extra pick could easily become a starting Safety or Guard on this team. To get that and one of the top 10 receivers would be a very successful draft to me, with an edge rusher somewhere in there.
  19. Solid signing and good run stuffer. I like that Beane has been able to fill out the defensive interior line in FA and allows more flexibility in the draft.
  20. As we get ready for the draft, and I get ready for the TSW Mock Draft staring next weekend, there's been a lot of conversation about needing to draft a wide receiver early. While I don't disagree with this, I do wonder what type of receiver we are looking for and what impact will they make on the offense. Before I can make that decision, there's a few things that need to be considered Diggs is under contract with a sizeable hit for this year and next. We could release him next season, but it would incur a 22 mil dead cap hit and only save us 5 million. Diggs has also gone on record saying that he will not restructure his contract to help the Bills cap space. If we bring in a capable number one receiver, how does Diggs handle being the number 2 guy? Emotional support isn't high on his capacities. We are stacked at inside receivers. Between Shakir, Knox, Kincaid, and Samuel, the slot position is locked up and deep. How do we even utilize a receiver that's not Diggs or a slot? My biggest criticism of Brady is that I don't feel like he really took advantage of the mismatches we could have created with two Tight Ends and doesn't scheme players open very well. McVay is a great example of a coach who gets people like Kupp wide open. Brady doesn't seem to be able to do that Was Davis' decline due to his ability or playcalling? To me, it's a little of both. Davis had some mental blunders in both routes and drops, but he was a big body speed guy, that on paper, most of us would clamor to draft again. So even if we get another player like Gabe, will we be able to utilize him? Free Agent Wide Receivers in 2025 look rough. There's isn't a #1 guy that will be available Some mock drafts only have 5 wide receivers going in the first round. If that's the case, there will be some great talent available in round 2 that is more than capable of becoming WR1 With all that being said, do we need to prioritize a receiver that can become out WR 1, knowing Diggs is here for the next two years, or do we just need another weapon that can compliment what we have? Even with Davis being MIA in most games, Josh put up good numbers with who we had. To me, the secret answer is what Beane did with Samuel. Samuel is documented to have the 3rd best separation in the NFL on cut routes, something badly needed on this team. Beane also wanted to bring in Harty for a similar goal. I think Beane wants quick guys that can create space, that Brandy can use wherever he wants on the field. So what receiver, if any, needs to be a priority? A 6'+ receiver who can eventually take over for Diggs in 2 years? A burner, like Hill, who we can move around in motion a lot to create mismatches from motion? My answer, and I vomit saying this, is best player available. If that happens to be a receiver that can lineup outside, then okay. But if there is a difference maker at another position available or a receiver that is only going to be lumped into our slot guys, then I go with the difference maker at another position. If this draft is so deep at receiver, I might wait and get someone in the mid rounds with the potential of a #1 guy, and if it doesn't work out, we have two more years to draft the right person. Here are ESPN's rankings of WR's with a grade of 80 or higher. Only one player is shorter than 6'. Quite a few of these guys could easily be there in the second round: Marvin Harrison - 94 - 6'3" Malik Nabers - 93 - 6' Rome Odunze - 92 - 6'3" Adonai Mitchell - 90 - 6'2" Brian Thomas Jr - 90 - 6'3" Xavier Legette - 89 - 6'1" Ladd McConkey - 88 - 6' Xavier Worth - 87 - 5'11" Keon Coleman - 87 - 6'3" Troy Franklin - 85 - 6'2" Devontez Walker - 84 - 6'2" Jermaine Burton - 82 - 6' Ricky Pearsall - 6'1"
  21. Did you see a bunch of Facebook ad titles and want to continue the trend?
  22. You glorious bastard. You did it!
  23. I get cap inflation, but seems like a lot for a guy who wasn't even a starter on the Chiefs and they didn't want back. I get that he started at the end of the season, but that was due to injury
  24. At this rate, I expect this to be the route most top 10 players go, who are considered to be the consensus best at their position. Unless the player is worried that someone else's pro day could result in jumping them in draft order, what do they have to prove? Now, if he was skipping interviews, that would be a problem for me.
