  1. Is it strange to anyone that we haven’t named our starters at key positions yet? The final preseason game is tomorrow. Also, if Peterman gets the nod, should he play longer tomorrow since he only got one game with the starters? I worry a little about the lack of cohesion amongst our offensive starters as we drag out the competition. I know that teams like the Rams rested everyone, but they played together all of last year with success. Our QB and offensive line need that cohesion time.
  2. We aren’t even the worst team in our division
  3. I’m sorry, but no way he’s worth that much. He’s maybe the 3rd best receiver in the game. This scares me as to where contracts are going. Julio will break 20 mil easily next time.
  4. It’s not an Allen Jersey, it’s for Madden 17
  5. So, not that. Got it
  6. I’ve said it before and stick to it. Two preseasons and a scrimmage with another team. Two bye weeks in the regular season. Pay the players for the games.
  7. Well, we had the Church of Tyrod. What should this cult be called? I nominate the Allen Congregation
  8. Should have stopped after the first sentence
  9. Interesting to see how many people think he’s already won the job. I really don’t think he has. I think Peterman has done enough to make them comfortable giving Allen time. I think today’s game means a lot. And the comment about short, touch passes is a great point. I agree 100%
  10. I have to admit that I'm pretty excited about the game today as I think it will make the decision as to who will be our starting QB. In my opinion, I think the coaches know what they have in Peterman, so it's Josh's job to change their mind and overall his job to lose. With that being said, I know that it's not about statistics, but it kinda is. Results matter. Peterman was almost lights out in his performances so far, but Josh is the known future so a tie goes to the Rookie. For me, if Josh is playing with the starters for the entire first half and shown good prep all week, I think anything about 60% completion with 140+ yards and 1+ scoring drives makes Josh our week 1 starter. Obviously there will be other factors, but if that's the result, I believe it's his. If he does win it, I will make my formal apology for Daboll and Josh for all the terrible things I said at their hiring and drafting.
  11. You must be great at parties
  12. Ravens are tough at home and we have an unproven offense with a unknown QB. Not that crazy
  13. And here...we...go.....
  14. This needed a bump. It’s all your fault!
  15. I want to say “just two more weeks” but as the season gets closer, these threads also come out from their caves
  16. Bridgewater to the Bucs would almost make too much sense. With the way the Broncos QB's are shaping up, that could work too
  17. He seems to watch everyone else making tackles. Timid to attack. Hopefully he’s just taking it in
  18. Except for the last sack, Browns sending pressure in a preseason game. Typical Greggo trying to prove what a man he is. KB not showing great effort so far
  19. I knew I was forgetting something. Yes, I’m definitely looking for a glimpse from this kid. Looked a little lost last week. Thank you
  20. I have to say, this is the most I've looked forward to a preseason game in a long time. I really like a lot of the guys on the Browns and it's hard to not root for a fellow perennial loser. With that being said, what are you all looking for tonight? Allen with the 2nd team - This is probably first for most of us. McCarron looked pretty good with the 2nd's and I hope to see Allen do as well. If not, then okay, but I can hope. I really want to see him hit on a deep ball and make some good reads. Starting defensive front 4 get some pressure. Our front 4 only played one series in the last game and are expected to play more. McD doesn't like to blitz in the regular season so I want to see these guys get some push Center Competition - I really want the starting front 5 to be solidified so they have more time to gel. We need to be solid in our rushing attack. McCarron with the 1's - Peterman looked great last week and I want to see more of the same from McCarron. Our entire offense is a big question mark going into the season and I want to build on the confidence in knowing that we aren't completely lost Daboll - Passing offense looked good last week and want to see that continue. Like how they spread the field and got the ball out quick. TT and the Browns - I'm always going to support TT and am glad this is only a preseason game. I also had Mayfield as my top rookie QB, so I'm curious to see him and Allen on the same field. Coleman/Zay - Hopefully these guys are able to get some rust off and show something on the field. Benjamin showed why he's the number one. If either of these guys can step up, I'm going to feel a lot better about this upcoming season. RB Depth - I'm hoping to see more guys contribute in this game because I don't like us resting our bets on a 30 year old RB, no matter how great he's been.
  21. Based off snaps and performances, Peterman should start. However, for the process, I think McCarron gets the nod. McDermott has already said he wants to make the decision quick. I expect a starter be named between games 2-3. Then the starter will start in game 3 with Allen as the back up. Then Allen also getting most of game 4
  22. No. It’s like a real game. Just those small plastic purses
