Once again Belichick shows why he’s the GOAT.

He would’ve been sacked. He had zero time. -
A sampling of other QB’s early career stats
Virgil replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm just being a dick honestly. I don't like to compare stats from different generations. But I know where the OP was going. You can't cherry pick stats. If you want to go down this path and combat all the negative Allen talk right now, you need to tackle the entire issue or total turnovers and team hurting plays -

A Few Thoughts About the *Pats game, in no particular order

Brady’s been doing this for years and they’ve never called it. I don’t think they want to mess with “intent” on penalties. But more likely, not mess with Kraft -

Josh Allen in concussion protocol: Update cleared 10/5
Virgil replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good afternoon. This isn’t my first post. Kick rocks. Your team is a bunch of soulless #######s. Your coach and Qb’s comments after the game are beyond hypocritical. If that happened to Brady, you’d be talking about how the world is out to get you and our guy should be executed. So, as I’ve respectfully said to your fan counterpart on here... Go ***** yourself -
The TD pass was severely under thrown. His momentum wouldn’t have allowed him to come back for the call. Now you are going to make me find the videos and live the pain all over again. I’m not a Zay apologist as I was really hoping Foster would step up and replace him this year. But I feel like people are placing their anger towards Zay instead of Allen for this game
-
I can’t bring myself to go back and watch the highlights yet. The high throw was really high and barely hit his fingertips if I recall. I also think he was in full stride on both INTs and coming back for the ball wasn’t really possible. But, I’ll look at it again....in about 20 years when the anger leaves me

Can someone please tell me what Zay did, or didn’t do, yesterday to call for the hate? I see people saying cut him immediately. I can’t remember a play with him where I thought he was the reason we sucked. The guy isn’t even out there that much. Overall, he hasn’t lived up to his draft status and physical traits, but I don’t see how yesterday was the deal breaker. What am I missing?

Thank you for reminding me of this. Was that a penalty? I don’t know the launching rules well and remember thinking that was off on the field goal. No one talked about it at the time so I thought I was crazy

I can barely hear them, but I think it was asked. He strangely said he didn’t want to give anything away since they play them again

Is it me or does he seem absolutely pissed?

An observation on Josh Allen's three picks
Virgil replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven’t gone back and watched them, but at the time and with replay, it was good catches by the Pats defenses and short of the receivers. I don’t think any of our guys could’ve prevented the INTs from happening -
An observation on Josh Allen's three picks
Virgil replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get all the Zay hate on the picks. The biggest thing I noticed is that the Pats secondary was sitting back and waiting on the ball, vs running with our guys and playing the ball and the man. In each case, there was someone over top running towards the ball in support. That's just good, over the top zone coverage. That's why it's completely on Allen to me. On each INT, the Pats were playing center field and reacting to Josh's throws. That's a lot different than Josh throwing it up and letting our guy make a play for it. I feel like I'm describing this wrong. -

I don’t care what he led with, he was trying to get a shot in. Allen was already being tackled. He should be fined and I’m going to bang his wife -

I think he misses next week. He was out. He looked drunk on the sideline. Protect his career and be cautious -

Jane, you ignorant slut. We gave up 10 points, and that’s from turnovers and bad field position. They punted 9 times and that was one of Brady’s worst stat lines in his career. Sorry they couldn’t do more for you -

You can’t slide while you are being wrapped up by another defender. -

We lose by 6 at home, make Brady look pedestrian, and outperform them on offense, and you want to fire everyone? We played a top tier defense and one of the best teams in the league. Turnovers killed us. Not the coaches. Daboll could’ve schemes a little better and we could’ve adjusted on the blocked punt. Those are player mistakes on the field, and only by two do them. Back off the ledge -
Will offense operate better with Barkley next week?

All he needs to do is play mistake free football.
