  1. Is that true? I wonder how much of that is because MNF is on ESPN and cord cutters can’t watch. I also feel like MNF gets the better matchups.
  2. That's an interesting one for me. It's not legal in the US yet, so why shouldn't it count as a ban? Also, if someone shows up high for practice or a game, with the speed and level people play, aren't you creating the possibility of injury? I'm just playing devil's advocate. I couldn't honestly care less
  3. Good thing you didn't already post this and it's not being talked about in the other thread....
  4. You’re going to need to be......punished
  5. You mother *****.......
  6. Spacing is your friend. I can’t even read that block of words
  7. Paywall. Can’t see anything
  8. I would stop watching until he left the team. Felt the same way about Vick
  9. I like this idea for a neutral site. Still don’t think they should play 4 though. 1 at home for each team. 1 on the road. Then maybe a 3rd a neutral site. Owners split rev from 3rd game. Season Ticket owners buy one less game.
  10. Again, I just said dead money as a quick example. Also, the money being paid after cuts wouldn't count against the cap. You'd still have the dead money restriction, but the player gets money out of pocket from the owner
  11. I get what dead money is, but I’d still double it down so the players get something. It’s my compromise to guaranteed contracts, which I don’t think should exist in any sport. You could also say they get paid half their remaining contract, but that would be a bit much to me. Again, you could go deep there. Just trying to keep it short and simple Disagree. As we are seeing with the AJ Green, Ramsey, Trent situations, they are gaining confidence and willing to sit out. NBA is influencing it a bit, in my opinion
  12. Understood. I would want to find a way to keep it that way. It was too long a gap before that
  13. Alternative suggestion? My issues are: - shouldn’t play any team twice - shouldn’t go more than 5 years without playing any team from the NFL I agree with you on Thursday night. If they keep it, they should go back to mandating every team has to play one
  14. Just for scheduling purposes. I thought about just saying two conferences, but then you’d almost never play the other conference.
  15. I think having played them before gives Allen the advantage
  16. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2019/11/13/game-nfl-season-is-becoming-more-likely-league-players-make-progress-labor-deal/ Hopefully this gets done and doesn't turn into another lockout. As this is happening, what changes would you make to the CBA if you could? For me: Eliminate playing your division teams twice. Play a second conference series. Playoff seeding based solely off record 2 preseason games + 1 scrimmage 18 game season, 2 bye weeks 7 playoff teams, 1 gets a bye Eliminate franchise Tag Modify Transition Tag - If home team matches, the contract only counts 80% against their cap. (ie 100 mil deal only counts as 80 mil). Get's 2nd round compensation if they don't match Cut players get 50% of dead money from deal Deals, including rookie deals, can't be re-worked until the last last year of contract, unless certain incentives are met. Eliminate Thursday Night Games (I personally like them, but players seem to hate them) Ref grading system. They can be either fined or removed from future games Teams keep challenges that are won Move Kickoff back to 30 yard line or remove kickoffs altogether Holding becomes a 5 yard penalty Illegal contact no longer an automatic first down Offsetting fouls including personal fouls, not offset. Personal foul trumps Overtime is a full 15 minutes. With the TD requirement, some ties came after only two possessions for each team Remove the blackout policy End the priority deals with EA and DirecTv That's all I got for now, but reserve the right to change my mind
  17. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I don’t think it’s about one game. It’s about the past 4 games where the offensive shows no improvement and the overall track record of Daboll not making the necessary adjustments to get it done. For McD, I think the fear is that he doesn’t know enough about the offensive side of the ball and is too conservative to shake things up.
  18. If you know who this is, we are now best friends. Also...../thread
  19. You get paid millions to “feel” it one day a week. Make a pumped playlist, take a shot, figure it out
  20. Honestly, if we lost to the Dolphins and Allen threw 2 INTs, but threw for over 300 yards and played fearless, I’d take. Let the kid see what he’s got. Stop putting a ceiling on him before he’s matured
  21. Sorted by overall QB rating the last 2 years. Allen was 29 and 32 on both. I'd take at least 8 of those 10 QB's. Yes, stats can be a one off with garbage time or weak opponents. But, by the end of a season, it usually balances out and everyone gets their fair share of those situations.
  22. I disagree. There's anomalies, but typically the majority of the QB's at the top of the overall stat sheets are pretty solid.
  23. I’m not saying the stats are good, bad, indicative of his career. Honestly, I have no idea. I want Josh to be the guy, same as I did TT and JP. I just found the stats interesting
