Predict the Score - Bills at Dolphins
Virgil replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dolphins 41 Bills 3 Allen doesn’t fumble, completes 59% of his passes for 299 yards, but it’s still not enough to overcome the Dolphins. Edmunds and Milano are announced out for the season at halftime -

Our front 4 needs to be that much better this week. Short yardage coverage and next level runs will be a big opportunity.

7 teams were better. I'm sick of your defeatist attitude. 😀 -
No one carries an offense like Josh Allen (except R. Wilson)

Too bad he's trash. We need more out of a QB. If he doesn't throw for 400 yards and score 50 points this week, cut him- 37 replies

I listened from 7:50a-8:30a. Besides commercials and comments about preseason, it was all about fumbles and play calls for Allen to run

A Few Thought about the Jets game, in no particular order
Virgil replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm right there with you. People are complaining about the called Allen runs, but if you take away one negative play and the fumbles (not Daboll's fault), they were all positive gains and solid plays. An OC calls plays based off what he's seeing and the defense is giving him. I don't expect this every single week from him. -
I've recently taken a job where I'm more of a 9-5 and can listen to the Bills Radio on my way into work. Today was the first time I did it and was really looking forward to it. I have to say, it was terrible. For 40 straight minutes, the only thing they talked about was Allen's fumbles and Daboll calling so many QB runs. Not the 300+ yards, not a dominating defense, not being 1-0, not any of the other many positives. The worst part was, the fans were mostly responsible. Every called, minus one who talked about preseason games not being missed, wanted to talk about the fumbles and how much they COULD have affected the game. Are we so beaten and broken that we can't appreciate all of the positive steps forward this team has taken and the position we are in this season? If I didn't know any better, you'd think we won or lost in a squeaker. I hope today was a microcosm of that show, but c'mon...

A Few Thought about the Jets game, in no particular order
Virgil replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What’s funny to me is, I felt like this was one of my worst write ups. I didn’t get into a groove at all and felt that it came off very generic. Yet, it’s gotten the 2nd most positive feedback to our first playoff clinching recap. It’s amazing what a little ‘Bills win and Josh throws over 300 yards’ will do for peoples mood -

McKenzie was an option on all of those plays. The Jets had to at least respect him. They did call his number with it for a first down later. Motion is to both get a WR off press, but also to reveal coverages and to keep options open. Coach T said, it’s all a setup. -
It all comes down to resiliency to me. Baker got scared from all the hits he took in the first season. Darnold also has been knocked around and hasn’t learned to trust his guys. Allen has never given up, has amazing support from his coaches (who’ve remained consistent) and has been on a 3 year plan. Talent is a part of it, but it’s not the only part
