In the first half, Hurts threw the ball away a number of times. The defense was applying pressure with the front four. It’s pretty clear that the Eagles made an adjustment at halftime, as they scored 5 times in the 2nd half and OT. The vaunted and expensive DL was ineffective after halftime. If the defense’s play was “fabulous” in your opinion, then I guess we have completely different definitions of “fabulous”

Isn't this what you said? Somehow, inexplicably the 1 year our defense wasn’t the causes of our season ending was 17. The worst playoff team we had…the 1 that the defense gave us a shot.

But the defense didn't give us a shot in the Cinci game last year. Cinci ran a train through our defense.

what will all of the defense apologists have to say this week? Read a thread here earlier today in which a poster said that on THREE occasions this season, the offense has scored a TD with under 2:00 left, to take the lead. The Bills are 0-3 in those games. That's hard to do.

I'd want out if I was him. He knows that this franchise is spinning its wheels, and I think he just wants to win.

Not horrible, but as this thread indicates, he's quite overrated by Bills fans. Overinvestment in certain positions (RB, LB, DL) while ignoring WR, S and OL.

Neither should have been here this year. Poyer was painfully bad and slow last year, and he's been even worse this year.
