Could be a one game thing for them but they looked just about the furthest thing from the dominant team the talking heads have been trying to sell us on. Also they left the door to the division wide open since we have the division tiebreaker and we play them again. That loss was objectively huge for them

A colts loss would’ve helped our chances of making the playoffs more so you could’ve made a case for either team winning last night. Indy beating NE and then NE beating us is pretty much the disaster scenario for our playoff chances so it really comes down to what happens next week anyway

I cannot stress enough how much better the colts oline is than ours especially in run blocking

Strictly looking at percentages of us making the playoffs it’s better if the colts lose…if the colts win and we beat the pats it’s great,if the colts win and the pats beat us out playoff chances are about 50/50. I’d rather make sure we maximize our chances getting in it’s not like we’re great at home anyway

I am far from a blocking assignment expert but I have seen a good amount of every teams offense this year since I mostly have red zone on one tv at all times and we easily look like the worst offensive line in the league in pass protection

Logically that’s a great idea…they used to have that for face masks right? I don’t trust these guys with judgement calls at all though lol I’m honestly at the point where I think no ref backyard football rules where players call their own fouls on the honor system would be a better product lol if penalties were completely turned off we maybe win against the bucs…part that pissed me off was not only were the bucs getting away with stuff but we were also getting hit with it

At least ne losing to Indy opens another road to the playoffs by winning the division…disaster scenario is ne loses to Indy then beats us. Our odds of winning the division absolutely skyrocket if NE loses two in a row. I don’t think Miami is gonna be a pushover for them either I’m sure Flores would love spoiling his old team

I think they’re trying to disincentivize dbs just tackling receivers while the ball is in the air to save tds. Which wouldn’t you know it is exactly what happened to diggs in the end zone Sunday 🤣

We’ll have to wait for one of these dudes that analyzes the game film to weigh in but I’d imagine we made some big schematic changes on both sides of the ball. Couldn’t quite process what was going on live because I was busy freaking out haha

Brady does not just get sloppy with any size lead lol this is an absurd take. He is the poster child for absolutely obliterating teams and keeping his foot on the gas. Our dlinemen started winning because we run a rotation and their offensive linemen weren’t as fresh and we started making Brady uncomfortable. The buccaneers just stopped trying at halftime is the most laughable take of the season so far in my opinion lol Did they continue ‘to not try’ all the way up until the game was tied? Which touchdown drives of ours count because the buccaneers defense who likely have incentives in their contract for statistical performances and who’s entire livelihood is based on having good game film actually start trying again? 😂 ridiculous. Brady who is playing football well into 40/s to smash every record imaginable one td away from the career passing td record was just like na I’m good huh haha

Idk if it’s just dropping intensity though…it’s transitioning to softer coverages to prevent quick scores. And what did we do….rattled off insanely quick scores. I think their defensive line was in overdrive trying to end the game early and they gassed out. They were killing us both blitzing and not blitzing in the first half.

Idk what you’re supposed to do against one of the best run defenses in the business when they are clearly allowed to hold your receivers in outrageously obvious ways all game long…very reminiscent of that afc championship game against the chiefs where the exploitable weakness in the defense is the secondary and they are straight up bailed out by officiating. Absolutely incredible we virtually did enough to pull that one out. Probably the gutsiest second half I’ve ever seen a football team have I wouldn’t blame them at all for just phoning it in in the second half

Diggs 100% out muscled the contact though…so much so that the bucs defender had to tackle him before the ball got there to save the game. That was the best look we possibly could’ve asked for in that spot and the refs just hosed us. If they’re gonna get away with that they obviously are gonna hold every receiver until the pass rush gets home if we went to a different receiver. We are blessed with the power of hindsight…we say Daboll doesn’t call enough runs then he calls runs and we complain…Daboll calls too many runs why do we run at all…Daboll doesn’t hand off to a rb for a half against the best run defense in the league and we complain…Daboll calls too many deep passing routes and we don’t take what the defense is giving us…josh starts checking the ball down more setting up 3rd and mediums that we struggle to convert and people complain. Let’s give him the rest of the season before we start calling for the guys head. If the execution doesn’t improve obviously we need some kind of change. But this run that we’re criticizing him for against the pats if moss cuts that outside he’s got pretty much a sure TD so at what point is the execution on the players and not on Daboll? Hats off to our team for Sunday though that loss getting stolen from us absolutely makes me sick…best run defense in the league has free reign to hold your receivers all game long and we still do more than enough to win that is absolutely incredible to me

Pats is such a weird game to me…maybe I’m the only person that thinks this and feel free to flame away lol but I don’t think their offense was effective at all when it came to the scoreboard. If you commit to the run all game long you’re obviously gonna rip off big runs occasionally. But the pats left the door open for our offense to win the game time and time again and we absolutely sh*t the bed in the red zone/kicking fgs/diggs losing a sure td in the air that hit him perfectly in stride/Knox not being able to make a play/Breidas comically bad fumble in scoring range…we just blew absolutely everything and still had a game winning drive attempt. I think bill miscalculated badly thinking we wouldn’t be able to move the ball through the air into the wind and we bailed him out. We did everything you just can’t do against a team built like the pats in literally the first 5 minutes of the game and they still let us hang around all night

That’s a fair point it could definitely be a trend that continues…but for me looking at the way we are losing some of these very tight games gives me hope we are going to turn it around. I’d also expect us to actually get some favorable officiating going forward because we objectively got hosed Sunday

I’ve got a feeling theyd still lean the way of the big name teams that people want to see win but it’s worth a try at least lol. I’m still waiting for a controversial call to go against the bucs since Brady was there 😂 over time that’s supposed to even out and it just never seems to. Knowing Brady I’m sure he doesn’t even want his team to get help from the refs lol I don’t pin any of this on him at all It was so strange getting that late terrible roughing the passer call against you guys a couple weeks ago I totally forgot Brady wasn’t there anymore for a second hahaha it was also weird actually playing a good enough game against a Brady led team to be able to complain about the refs 🤣 that’s pretty rare for us lol Mocap suits for all players lol
