  1. The whole afc is looking a bit overrated…although it’s very early in the season. It’s looking a lot more top heavy than people expected
  2. Pats would’ve murdered the ravens today…i don’t think any of these people high on the dolphins really watched the game. I don’t think I’ve seen a belichick coached defense blow that many coverages in a season let alone a game
  3. I mean saying that fans that are high on this current team have ‘false bravado’ because you are upset about events that happened decades ago is kind of illogical imo lol
  4. Oh yea understandably so but that has nothing to do with this team…not to mention Brady was the drought lol they weren’t two different things
  5. I’d say the opposite…I think you haven’t learned to be a fan of a good team because Brady kicked our ass for 20 years and you’re just waiting for us to show our ‘true colors’ from years ago.. we objectively have a better roster than the dolphins and it is not false bravado to say so. The takes around here seem very rational imo…I don’t think anyone feels great about us rolling into arrowhead and smoking the chiefs in the playoffs but a regular season game against the dolphins there’s a pretty high probability we win. They didn’t make any notable defensive changes (besides losing a quality defensive coach like Flores) and they have struggled against josh in the past…they’re going to struggle to match scores with us when we take away the deep routes
  6. Yea I don’t get it…if Miami and buffalo are both great teams (I’m not sure Miami is great yet) you’d expect them to split so how is game 3 a must win? We lost a ‘must win’ against NE last season and won the rematch and the division and pantsed them in the playoffs
  7. I’m genuinely confused by the overreaction here…why are we weighting Miami vs a decimated ravens secondary so heavily over how Miami looked against the NE defense week 1? did people not watch the game today? The ravens defense was dreadful all game and Miami couldn’t really capitalize until even more ravens dbs got injured we were getting close to the announcer sending fans onto the field to play corner for baltimore lol
  8. Their defense looked horrible today and has historically played poorly against buffalo. Their linebackers are not disciplined enough to account for qbs that can run the football. We can talk Miami up as much as we want to but they still objectively don’t match up well against us we really have to see at least one game where the bills don’t look very good before people start crowning Miami and even that id say would be an overreaction. We smoked a Super Bowl caliber team and they beat an injury riddled ravens team by 3
  9. That’s all pretty relative…our schedule eases up in the back half
  10. They have to play the Super Bowl favorites twice and we don’t have to play ourselves so idk how much easier their schedule can be. Also lac looked just as good as kc Thursday night so it’s not like they’re getting a layup there either double also lol…we negated their easier nfc west matchup by beating the rams week 1…so I’d argue they have a harder schedule going forward
  11. I’m even more convinced the bills are a terrible matchup for Miami after todays game….that Miami defense is not what it used to be and tua just will not take risks against decent zone coverage so he won’t beat josh in a shootout. He’ll only take a shot when receivers are ‘college open’. Most of his yardage today came from completely busted coverage if our defensive line is as good as it looked week 1 Miami will be even less of a problem than last year theyre a better team than last year overall I’d say but they play perfectly into the bills strengths…they struggle against dual threat qbs and tua is not very strong going through his progressions. we are disciplined in the secondary and excel at disguising our zone coverages baltimore could give us trouble when they get healthier so today was the best result
  12. The short throws weren’t really hurting Baltimore…the busted coverages on the deep balls killed them. Miami had quite a few drives derailed in the first half from wr screens/quick throws behind the line of scrimmage losing yardage. That was the strangest game…halfway through I’d say tua had a below average game then Baltimore started losing even more dbs to injury and couldn’t stop a paper bag it wasn’t even superior route running or a great scheme the ravens seemed like they were trying to run cover 0 but the cbs kept thinking they had safety help. Really really odd. Tua made a handful of nice plays and a handful of bad plays but a majority of his statistical output was routine plays against blown coverage sounds crazy if you just look at his stat line but he was pretty average imo…a great qb would’ve won that game by three scores. That was an easy 50 burger for a great offense I just can’t believe how bad baltimore was
  13. Mahomes absolutely imploded…the bengals started playing single high safety with a couple robbers and the chiefs can’t really run the ball and mahomes just wouldn’t throw into tight windows
  14. That’s what I was saying to you originally! But we started playing this can josh be mvp game lol I couldn’t care less who the mvp is if we win the Super Bowl
  15. Even if we blow a few coverages I don’t think tua is matching scores with josh…a shootout is not the game they want. They don’t really match up against buffalo well especially if von is the difference maker that it appeared he was in week 1
  16. It’s not really him throwing double digit ints it’s rodgers throwing a freakishly tiny number of ints. Rodgers looked pretty lost in week 1 without davante so it’s looking to be mahomes and Allen as the early front runners
  17. They lost quite a few guys on defense down the stretch of the game too I couldn’t even keep up with it. Queen was down then a couple defensive backs were down idk if any of those guys came back
  18. People say wide open and it’s usually an exaggeration but I am not exaggerating lol tyreek hill was running completely free in the secondary on numerous occasions
  19. Oh I didn’t realize we were talking about the mvp award. Honestly if we keep racking up huge leads I’d prefer us sitting josh to keep him healthy late in games over winning a trophy that isn’t even the Super Bowl trophy. tua would have been pulled late today also if Miami wasn’t so terrible on defense in the first half.
  20. Lol yea if he could do anywhere close to that against an above average defense on a consistent basis. You’re not gonna see defenses like that too often with the schedule the afc east drew this year. He played about the same as he did in the NE game but NE didn’t forget how to communicate on defense in week 1
  21. Lol that will not be hard to do…that was honestly one of the worst defensive performances I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure how many people actually saw the game here. Baltimore was blowing routine coverages all day
  22. Why wouldn’t that matter lol? that’s a strange take. I’d take 299 yards against a perennial Super Bowl favorite over 1000 yards against a teams practice squad defense…especially if we’re trying to extrapolate the results from todays game to how Miami will perform against the bills. NEs defense is not as good as ours and they didn’t have much trouble slowing Miami down. That’s a lot better indicator of how we will do than a bunch of dudes off the street in the Baltimore secondary.
  23. I think they have flip flopped a stout defense and a mediocre offense for a good offense and a mediocre defense and they’ll probably finish around the same amount of wins
  24. Remember when Gronk elbow dropped the back of tres head when he was down lol
