Assuming he stays healthy (which is a tricky assumption lol) I honestly really like Deebo in this offense he’s kinda the model of player they were trying to hit on with Coleman and probably missed 😂 If you’re running the football half the time, you need a mauler in run blocking, you need a quick outlet on these chiefs exotic blitzes that’s a pretty big target and has a shot even when covered. You need someone with the iq to sit in open space on the field

Chiefs had every reason to go absolutely all out on the bills the last three regular season matchups. There’s an absolute 0% chance they weren’t throwing everything they have at those games this year the chiefs are battling for the division last year they were trying to continue an undefeated season and that was their final speed bump the year before that they had a really good chance to prevent the bills from making the playoffs at all

Yea that was a weird scenario where I think Odell was better than the available WRs we’re talking about here as likely targets and he was a free agent after bullying his way out of Cleveland obviously a big name wr would definitely help 😂

They seem to think they’re a cb coming in midseason away but I really don’t think so

I’ve got a feeling the bills kinda know that a pretty good receiver jumping in midseason with 0 rapport with the qb doesn’t add as much value as a pretty good DT/edge jumping in after going through the Amari cooper experience. Guess we’ll see though someone like Elijah Moore who’s fast but kinda lacking in the game iq dept but he’s been on the team for awhile would probably give you as much juice as a jakobi meyers type coming in that doesn’t know the playbook

Not sure if we’d pay the hypothetical price but Miami and NYJ would take a big offer from Buffalo for a wr…they won’t be relevant for awhile anyway this isn’t like dolphins/jets teams that are close to competitive giving the bills ammo

I don’t think a team knowing they’re going into a full rebuild cares about trading skill position players within the division too much. By the time the jets reload Garrett Wilson will slow down a bit I don’t think he’s coming to Buffalo but I wouldn’t be shocked

He’s good at what he does but he’s an awful run blocker so I never really thought it would be him tbh if it was one of the saints it would be olave, could be Deebo. Maybe the trade was DL all along too

Can’t say I know for sure as I really haven’t seen him much 😂. but I think you gotta be a pretty good or better run blocker to see the field consistently in this current Buffalo offense and my guess is Curtis Samuel probably isn’t even decent in that area. Maybe they thought they could coach him up to good enough and it just didn’t work out injuries for sure haven’t helped but his opportunities will probably be limited unless he starts hitting some big plays when he does get snaps im starting to get the feeling maybe we are in on Deebo after typing this haha

Waddle is probably the only wr I’d send a ton of trade resources for….wouldnt hate that overpay at all. Would probably take a ton to get him from a division rival though

1.5 mil yearly base on a 1 year deal then he’s a free agent in regards to your first point so that one is not an issue. He’s actually super cheap for a one year rental I think his contract has void years and that’s where the cash figure is coming from. Other two are fair enough points though I can see that.

My gut is they’re keeping BTJ (unless he’s violently unhappy behind the scenes lol) but to be fair this is exactly what I’d say if I was trying to keep a bidding war for him going
