It’s pretty hard to defend all these wide throws behind the LOS and the Josh/cook runs up the middle when we’ve got this many good blockers on the outside. I know fans hate it though haha it’s pretty cat and mouse between ‘if you load the box we’ll kick it out wide with a pass or run’ type stuff

It gets overshadowed by the bills defensive struggles lol but the bills offense has been as good as anybody against spags recently. I get people don’t like watching the running game but it takes a lot of wind out of the chiefs defenses sails. They wanna get after the qb with crazy blitzes

I don’t think so…bills had the chiefs in a personnel group they liked and just went no huddle to keep them stuck out there

I think history against the chiefs probably helps…ya gotta have a feel for how they ad lib when the scripted play isn’t there. Saw it with the commanders a lot last week…they took the designed plays away well but the chiefs we’re pretty much perfect on the off schedule plays

Josh throwing an absolute rocket to a wide open Jackson Hawes on first down didn’t help. Probably picks up 6+ there easily not blaming josh but making things a little easier on a guy that doesn’t catch the ball a lot doesn’t hurt

lol I feel like bills fans should know better than probably every other fanbase how demoralizing and frustrating it can be when a team goes heavy and just rams the running game down your throat and you’ve got no answers. Everyone talks like mcd is the only guy in the nfl that likes to play nickel but that’s the base defense of the nfl and everyone is loaded up to get after passers. A good running game fundamentally changes everything from how pretty much every opposing defense likes to play. I don’t think epa per play is really capturing that.. the whole thing is all just pretty ironic because the threat of a josh Allen run has been opening up a lot in the passing game for years. to each their own though I’ve gotta agree to disagree. Maybe it doesn’t apply to you specifically but I think a lot of people are taking a good running game and what goes into it for granted

I don’t get the negative spin being put on running games in some of these comments tbh…everyone makin it sound like we’re just trying to run out the clock lol. This team has absolute beef to pound the run and we want to do it less? It’ll never make sense to me. The running game is just as capable of hitting big plays as the passing game especially if teams start loading the box which takes second level defenders away. Nothing puts more pressure on an opposing defense than a good running game like yea obviously we miscalculated at wr, you want guys that can actually do things in the passing game on top of run blocking lol but the general hate for running the ball I see on here is pretty shocking. It really is a big part of keeping that chiefs defense on their toes. They probably have the best pass defense in the league with a coordinator that’s sending all kinds of crazy blitzes

Eagles fans started complaining about Sirianni awfully quick after their superbowl win to be fair 😂 heck a lot of people wanted him fired midseason the year they did win it despite them recently appearing in one lol

My new theory is they woulda fired McDaniel too but they’ve got nobody that can call an offense without him lol

I’d argue that Josh is doing as good a job as anyone against spags…I would’ve even say he can’t beat spags and Reid. At the time we had the two highest scoring totals on the chiefs starting defense for 2024 (Super Bowl knocked us down to #2 and #3) I think the bills offense would’ve scored 75 on the bills defense down benford and Rapp last year 😂
