  1. Two pretty cool facts from NFL.com: Josh has seven games with two pass TDs and two rush TDs, most ever--number two and three are Steve Young and Cam Newton, and they have seven such games COMBINED. The other fact: "The Bills QB became the fourth reigning MVP in NFL history to account for at least four touchdowns in Week 1. The previous three such players -- Tom Brady in 2011, Brett Favre in 1996 and Thurman Thomas in 1992 -- all reached the Super Bowl that season." LET'S GO
  2. Our greatest regular season win
  3. This is why you never leave a game or quit watching early
  4. Suddenly, we’re back! LET’S DO THIS THING!
  5. Went from being unable to crack the 53 most games with us, to starting for the Cowboys and holding his own. To me it seemed like our coaches got so down on him that they underrated him and broke his confidence. Happy for him he’s playing again.
  6. My thoughts will be on the forty years I’ve been watching and waiting for this moment. I think I’ll take a week off to spend in Buffalo. First order of business, talking to my dad, sister, nephews, and my high school best friend—the people who I text with every game even though I’m far away now. Next, heading to Elmwood to walk, eat and drink and soak it in. Then I will go to my mom and my older brother’s graves (next to each other) with a bottle of Jameson, and tell them all about the game.
  7. He says a lot, but it not much that people don't know already...
  8. Bills 37, Ravens 17 Buffalo rolls unexpectedly with 250 yards rushing and 250 passing, Cook runs for 140 yards and Allen throws 3 TDs with no picks
  9. Ty Johnson is a good weapon to have for this. He could either push Josh, run the ball, or run a little flare and catch the ball. I have a feeling he could score a long TD on a tush push play-action pass.
  10. 14-3 1 seed We make the Super Bowl Can’t jinx us by predicting any further than that
  11. Either go right a couple times, or run a fake and toss it to Knox, or a bootleg… Whatever it is, put something else on tape from tush-push formation!
  12. In Berlin, am thinking to have Jim Beam and Cokes (it comes in a can here), since it will be a 2:20am kickoff. PS your raven gag is hilarious, although I don't know if Bobbi will buy that you plucked the feathers off on your grill...
  13. If Oliver and Rousseau were studs in the playoffs, we wouldn't be reduced to wishing for a third round developmental pick to become a "monster"...
  14. According to ChatGPT, Emmitt Smith had 9400 yards and 68 TDs after his 2000th carry. Barry Sanders had a 5.0 YPC after his 2000th carry. Frank Gore had 6800 rushing yards after his 2000th carry. So it isn't always fatal...
  15. Yeah, but we usually played the starters for a few series and looked good.
  16. I attended two AFC championship games (51-3 and 30-13) for less than 50 bucks a ticket. And my dad and I went to the 4th Super Bowl in the Georgia Dome (ugh). Back then it cost about 4000 dollars for two tickets, flights, and hotel in Atlanta. But I can't afford to go to a Super Bowl nowadays. It's gone too crazy. So I will do the next best thing and fly to Buffalo, either to a bar, Niagara Square, or, I hope they have a watch party at the stadium. Would be an incredible way for Highmark to go out...
  17. Ya gotta love CB. Head's on straight.
  18. PS Looked up some fun facts: Best all-time QB playoff win %: Bart Starr, 9-1, .900 The only player in NFL history with multiple playoff wins and no losses: FRANK REICH (2-0)
  19. Other differences would be: Mahomes 17-4 playoff record, Allen 7-6; Mahomes 3 Lombardis, Allen 0. Now you can argue that's about KC's defense vs. the McD's defense, but the fact remains that these tip the argument heavily in Mahomes favor for now. I believe the Bills' time is coming and Josh can even the score within a few years.
  20. Agreed. Being from Buffalo, cutting down on alcohol consumption as you age can be tough. At least, it was for me.
  21. The biggest difference is in playoff stats. Lamar to date is a regular season hero. Josh has incredible stats in the playoffs. However, Mahomes has been by far the best in league history in the playoffs. Insane stats and record.
  22. I actually know a little bit about cricket--got into it due to a cousin who played--and can corroborate that Gunner is, indeed, talking sense. Meantime, I was thinking about Josh Allen and how special he is. I've never met him, but by all accounts including @Alphadawg7's, he seems to be one of those rare people who have the inner generosity and strength to be a real role model--not just someone whose accomplishments you admire, but someone who conducts themselves with real character. And yet, he's funny and not saintly or boring! We are really lucky to have the guy.
  23. This is wild. Unless I'm missing somthing, we are the only team whose "optimistic" is Super Bowl win. And we are the only team whose "realistic" is Super Bowl appearance. These guys think the Bills are the best team in the league.
