    Butler, Addison, Jefferson and Klein were nobody's during their career in the NFL. We spent about $25 mil to bring them to Buffalo. Not one was ever an All-Pro or Pro Bowl player. So, you get what you pay for! Meaning soft, quiet (unlike Jordan Phillips) and coach-able players regardless of talent!

    I think Jordan didn't fit the teams mentality - - don't show off during a game! Sadly, we're left with Trent, Harrison Phillips and Hughes.

    You're right! The front seven with 4 F/A pick-ups is NOT fixable. They just don't have the talent.

    those 4 guys making up that stat include Quinton Jefferson who is really a DE, Ed Oliver that shouldn't be playing in the middle and Harrison Phillips that has yet shown very little. Having a lot of guys doesn't mean you have quality players. Sorry! someone has to be tough right up the gut! We don't have that at Nose Tackle!

    The top paid NT's in the NFL make $12 mil plus. Aaron Donald for the LAR is at $22 mil and DeForest Buckner of the Colts gets $21 mil. Of the top 25 DT's by salary the Bills have only Vernon Butler at #23 at $7.5 mil. Star is 28th at $6.2 mil. Maybe we've overlooked this position (NT) by signing a group of never-been players to the DL in the off-season?

    All teams this season are showing D problems. Was it the short training camps or the fact that D players are rotated around the NFL in free agency? Nobody wants to pay $10 mil a season for a DL or LB!

    current forecast for 5 PM is 50 degrees with light rain. Winds only 9 MPH which is lower than normal in Orchard Park.

    "A Turf" of Williamsville NY has got the bid through the county the last few seasons. They aren't in any other NFL stadiums or major college programs. Their claim to fame locally are the Bills, Niagara Falls HS and UB Stadium where the Bulls play.

    "Hang" is a great term. Two years ago we couldn't do that even with a top rated Defense.

    YES! Only Buffalo has this turf in the entire NFL.

    Erie County purchased this turf from the same manufacturer for the last 12 years. They don't have any of their turf in any other NFL Stadiums. It's a local company which has quite a few Bills season tickets and contributes to local politician's. GET IT?

    agree on D depth - but - money has to be saved to re-sign Josh, Diggs etc. It is a good team

    Butler, Addison and Jefferson were F/A's that should never have been starting for a good team. Nothing in their NFL history shows they are difference makers. Each get around $6 mil/ year and are just hanging on in the NFL. Sad for the Bills! I have to agree on this. Neither were outstandingly great but as a group they led the Bills in passion!

    I think Edmunds was a talented kid but didn't grow up into the NFL game.

    Oliver simply can't create any problems for our opponents. He's a great athlete but a bust as a pass rusher. And, we so need an elite pass rusher. Edmunds has regressed terribly. Watch how many plays he's just running around and accomplishing nothing. He isn't strong enough to make the big tackles and certainly isn't a stud MLB that a Championship team needs.

    The Bills defense has looked awful all year. Regardless of missing White & Milano they are slow and poor tacklers. NO PASS RUSH!
