  1. Of course the tweet is 3 years old - - that's when Beane came on board. He might like a position of President & GM in Carolina?
  2. I was at that game vs. the Jets. I think Jack Kemp came in to lead a big comeback. I left 2 months later for Vietnam - oh I remember it well.
  3. There has been a lot of discussion on this Board (and I love this Board) about a contract extension for GM Beane. McDermott was hired first by the Pegula's. It was an odd situation in the NFL when a HC is hired before his supposed boss. He also got a long-term extension beyond 2020. "Beane's actual power is still in question given his hand selection by coach Sean McDermott, who was hired long before Beane. The Buffalo News suggests McDermott "will be the one that makes the final call" if need be. Beane has a strong background as a personnel man, but it's become clear he won't have total control in Buffalo." SOURCE: Ian Rapoport on Twitter May 10, 2017, 5:22 PM ET I have a feeling Coach McD runs the show. He tells the GM the players he wants to add or cut from the team. Beane goes after them in Free Agency and in the draft. He handles the signing details. Some of the salaries for F/A's has been out of line. Mitch Morse and Trent Murphy still getting $7 mil/season as examples. I don't know if Beane will get a big contract. He might want to go back to Carolina where their current GM is under fire. He was the GM several years ago, was fired, and then re-hired in the same position by the Panthers. Beane worked under him. It's all a big MYSTERY! ANY COMMENTS??
  4. Again - if all he does is make adjustments from the radio in his helmet right before the snap it IS confusing. He's not a true MLB making calls. I've never seen the DB's or DL shift at all at his command. I don't wan to argue with you - this is just what I see. We're both Bills fans. Me for a long-long time.
  5. I don't have specific plays for that. I sense his veteran status allows him to help with defensive alignments. I don't think Edmunds does anything more than listen to the radio in his helmet and repeat what he hears. He had the LOWEST Wonderlic score at LB in his draft class. I don't see leadership.
  6. Edmunds is a great athlete but not necessarily a leader. He plays 'light'. I really haven't seen him move players before the snap on defense. I do see Klein trying to do that!
  7. Somebody has to fill the void! You seem like a good guy!
  8. Phil came to the Bills after a great career with the Raiders at age 31. He was a 4-time All Pro and helped the Raiders win a Super Bowl. In Buffalo he was past his prime. He wasn't a pass rusher and had NO SACKS in his 13 year NFL career. Phil was an emotional & tough play leader on defense. When he tackled someone he nailed them straight up. AJ came to the Bills at age 29. He is also past his prime. He's never been voted to a Pro-Bowl. Over his 8 years in the NFL he has 14 sacks with 3.5 of them with the Bills in 2020. He yells instructions on defense and when he tackles it's a tough, hard hit. Toughness and and leadership are missing on the 2020 Bills defense. AJ can help with that!
  9. he had a a 42.1 yards per punt average with the Bills. Paul punted for 23,249 yards total which is the 3rd highest in Buffalo history.
  10. Brian Moorman who held the position for 12 years? Chris Mohr during the Glory years? My favorite is Colton Schmidt who was with the team during 2014-2017. They were NOT Glory years. During his 4 years he averaged 44.0 yards per punt with zero blocked. He had a tough attitude for a punter.
  11. he's the league leader regardless of the shank! Give him some love!
  12. tonight vs. Seattle we saw the same play twice form Murray. He got stuffed on both plays. Maybe the Seattle coaches saw the plays vs. the Bills??
  13. Yes - going 4-2 in the last part of the season would be great. Just get into the play-offs and we've got a good shot!
  14. this is a stupid comment about some great stats for our Bills. Get in a chat room and talk nonsense with your type of people
  15. This is his updated 2020 stat at 49.1 after 10 games. His career average is 44.1
  16. #1. Josh Allen with 2,871 yards passing #1. Diggs with 73 catches for 906 yards #1. Bojorquez with a 49.1 punting average And - Bass is 2nd with 86 points kicking, Roberts is 3rd in Punt Return and 2nd in Kick-Off Return yardage. Beasley is 5th in AFC receiving with 642 yards GO BILLS!
  17. It was a quick play down near the goal line where LB's had no reason to back out in coverage. Where were they - - twice??
  18. Marv Levy didn't believe in adjustments. Just go play as coached!
  19. The Cardinals set that play up based on OUR defense. It was all too easy!
  20. Not a complainer - a realist. With this defensive talent all over the field the big picture may be sad and frustrating.
  21. both fakes were great - but - -who was supposed to stop it? I think the box of rocks is closer to the truth!
