Good point. It reinforces what a great job the Bills did for Allen in building the team around him and coaching him as well.
-
What is this, year 3 for him? I remember Romo did a video conference with Allen, Darnold, and Jones a few years ago and he said if a QB hasn't shown it by year 3 then he most likely never will. By year 3 a QB should have things figured out as far as reading defenses and running the offense. He also mentioned that by year 3 the speed of the game shouldn't overwhelm them anymore. Going thru your reads/progressions at the NFL level is a lot faster than in college and for many QB's their is an adjustment period. Bottom line he said if your QB is truly a franchise QB you will know it by year 3.

You know what they say. True greatness in a QB can be measured by how they perform in those "big moments" in late May/early June.
-
No excuses for him this year. JD has given him playmakers to work with on offense. Same thing Beane did for Allen. If Jets fans are still questioning if he can be the guy after this season then they are in trouble.
-
Miami did but they still don't have a QB. Jets did but they also don't have a QB. The Pats from what I have read/heard didn't.
-
Jacked or not the Bills D is going to be making him eat dirt in both games this year.

This alternating 9 home games for one conference with 8 for the other is dumb. The end game is probably 2 preseason games and an 18 game season.

(12) Ian Rapoport on Twitter: "The NFL is discussing the Pro Bowl week and ways to improve it — including possibly eliminating the traditional game and using that Sunday to showcase the players in it. Essentially, what are the alternatives?" / Twitter I never understood why they played this game. Nobody cares about it. I don't know what they could do to improve it.

Just put Tampa in the Finals already. Sweeping the Panthers and holding them to 3 goals the entire series is very impressive. Last night the Panthers had the better of the play but the brick wall Vasilevskiy stopped everything they threw at him. There is no doubt he is the best goalie in hockey. These past three years of play he has earned his spot in the HOF. If the Lightning win it again then they will be considered a modern day dynasty.

Not me. Listen I can deal with a rebuild if it's being done right. I am an Islanders fan and for the longest time they were a POS franchise. The fish stick jerseys, horrible ownership, garbage GM's and HC's and their seasons being over by Thanksgiving. So I have dealt with losing from them and the Bills. If the Bills win a Super Bowl and they eventually have to rebuild then I can deal with it. No problem. Pats fans who are complaining now are immature crybaby's after what that franchise gave them for 20 years.

I wish. The Bills give me 6 Super Bowl championships hell just give me one and they can go 0-17 struggling for 5 straight seasons and you wouldn't hear a peep out of me complaining. I don't think McDermott is in danger of getting fired but the Von Miller move was a final piece type of move. Not a move to just getter better and improve the team but a move to put them over the top and win a Super Bowl. Media both local and national as well as the fans have the highest of expectations. They fail to at least make the Super Bowl and the calls for McDermott's head will grow very loud next offseason. That is one thing I am sure of.

True but that division will probably beat itself up. I could see the winner in that division being something 12-5 or 11-6. The Bills have a relatively easy division compared to the west. The Bills should have a good shot at getting the #1 seed.

What no love for Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Shining. Pesci, Liotta, and De Niro in Goodfellas Gandolfini in the Sopranos Dangerfield and Knight in Caddyshack Pesci and Tomei in My Cousin Vinny These are some of my favorites. -
McDavid is just a freak of nature. It seems like every shift of every game he is doing something amazing. Edmonton is another team that is fun to watch. The Battle of Alberta has been a very entertaining series as well.
-
I know we still have a long way to go but a Lightning vs Avs Finals would be a fun series to watch. Unless an upset happens I think that will be your SC Finals.

Chiefs are going to have their hands full with their division. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs as a WC. My pick for the division is LAC.
-
Normally I would agree with you but 13 seconds was a big slap in the face for them. Besides McDermott always preaches the one game at time and respect your opponent type of mentality.

Losing Hill tips the scales in the Bills favor. Without Hill then covering Kelce becomes easier. You are right if the Bills play them in the playoffs then they will have to prove it on the field. Of course beating them in the regular season will go along way in getting a playoff game vs them in OP. I know that didn't help last year but with the AFCW being stronger it probably makes a difference this year.

KC is going to have their hands full trying to win their own division. My pick for the west is the Chargers but you could make a case for any of the four teams. Assuming the Bills win the east then a Bills-Chiefs playoff game next season probably takes place in OP. I think we get by the Chiefs this season. If Miami had a QB I would say they could challenge the Bills but they don't.
