Given his regular season performance up to this point he should be getting live game action. Playing well in camp is nice but its not the real thing. I am encouraged that Tua will be the starting QB for them as that is good news for the Bills.

I guess he is encouraged that he will get to see a Dolphin QB throw a ball more than 10 yards. Something that wouldn't happen with noodle arm playing.

If Josh doesn't play vs the Colts then I could see Keenum (1st half) and Barkley(2nd half).

I wouldn't be shocked if the Pats finish last in the division. The Dolphins are definitely better even with Tua. The Jets (on paper) are much improved. Of course we will see if that carries over to the actual games. Also need to see if Wilson improves.

Allen covers up for the OL by being able to scramble and avoid the rush. OL (tackle or guard) is something I would like to improved in the early rounds of the 2023 draft.

I mentioned this before but regardless of how the season plays out I hope Beane puts a priority on the OL in the 2023 draft.

It will be a good test for our backups and rookies going up against the Colts starters. As you mentioned evaluating these players is what's important here.

What about Keenum? How much time would you give him? If Allen doesn't play I would assume he will start. Maybe not a half but could see a quarter.

From a Colts POV I don't understand it either. To play your starter that long in the 1st preseason game is crazy. My guess is Allen plays a series or two if he plays at all.

Look on the bright side. Whoever the Bills play on defense will get a good test as they go up against the Colts starting QB rather than the backup or a no-name scrub.

Exactly. Getting reps in practice is one thing but nothing replaces live action in a game. The starters should play some especially the offense with a new OC.

Red helmet with white over red would be better or white helmet with red over white. Red helmet with red jersey not so much. The Bills don't need to change a thing except lose the all reds and blues. Every other uniform combo looks good. White helmet is better than the red one. The charging buffalo stands out more on the white helmet.

Small market team with higher ticket prices along with PSL fees. Many people are going to be priced out from going. That is the reality so 60,000 is probably a good number for the new stadium.

Daboll is going to find out that going from Allen to Jones/Taylor will be a painful process and a long year for big blue.

The Bills could lose this game 35-0 and I would consider it a win if they get out of the game with no injuries.

As someone who lives in Giants/Jets land there has been reports with the media that Taylor is playing better than Jones in practice. Obviously that means nothing as both will get preseason action to win the job. Don't be surprised if Taylor wins it. If Jones doesn't prove to be "the guy" going into his 4th year then the Giants will definitely be looking at QB's in next year's draft. How could they not.

Nice win last night over Seattle. Much needed to end the losing streak. Hopefully they can put a few wins together now. Judge with bomb #44 last night.
