  1. I can't see Daboll winning HC of the year. I think the Giants are in for a long year. Both Schoen and Daboll have a huge rebuild ahead of them. Gettleman really screwed up that organization. Jones is going into his 4th year and he still hasn't shown he has the "it" factor to be the franchise QB. Granted the Giants OL has been terrible but he just seem like a average QB to me. Wouldn't surprise me if the Giants draft a QB in next year's draft.
  2. Especially with a new OC and some new plays to the offense. Yesterday at TC one of papers reported that Allen was frustrated as the offense looked out of sync. On the plus side they said the defense looked really good. I think the starters on offense will play more than usual in the preseason needing the reps with Dorsey's offense.
  3. Staying the NFC with Tom is a smart move as well. The AFC is stacked. Much easier to get to the Super Bowl in the NFC. You have the Rams, Cowboys, Packers. But will Rodgers decline without Adams. The 49ers would be a threat if they had a proven QB. Maybe Minnesota? The competition isn't all that tough in the NFC.
  4. When you consider all the partying they did it is amazing that they can still tour. It's actually amazing they are still alive. With Jerry gone Bob is now the most famous surviving member of the Grateful Dead. He is now the face of Grateful Dead music thru Dead and Co. Even if he can't sing like he used to ( lets face it the Dead weren't known for their singing anyway) I appreciate the fact that he is keeping Grateful Dead music going with these tours.
  5. Out of all the teams in the division I think they had the worst offseason. I know Bill is still there and they do have some talent but I wouldn't be surprised if they finish last in the division. I definitely think they will finish behind the Bills and Dolphins. It just depends on how much the Jets improve.
  6. Hopefully we see her at Bills games. That would be a good sign that she is getting healthy.
  7. QB's in the AFCE go like this. Superman, Moe, Larry, Curly.
  8. Just heard it on the news. He was 77.
  9. Allen did improve from year 1 to 2 but his breakout season was 3. Even Tony Romo mentioned this. He basically said if a QB hasn't shown that he has the "it" factor by year 3 then he probably never will. The game usually slows down for a QB by year 3.
  10. I wonder if she will be healthy enough to show up at the games or will we just see Terry in the owners box.
  11. The measure of greatness in a QB is how he handles those pressure packed moments from March to July.
  12. He is a great QB but also a diva. It will be fun watching him have a hissy fit if he struggles without Adams to throw to.
  13. Even a run like the Cowboys had in the 90's when they won 3 Super Bowls will be difficult. Injuries, managing the salary cap, 32 teams in the league. I do think the Bills will get a couple of Super Bowl championships with Allen over his career. Josh is a better athlete then Ben but I could see him having a similar career that Ben had with the Steelers just with better stats. Basically 2 Super Bowl championships, many AFCE titles, playoff appearances. A team that is usually in the mix to contend year in and year out. When its over Josh gets a gold jacket and a trip to Canton OH.
  14. RIP. Great actor.
  15. I just want one Super Bowl championship. Of course I hope the Bills can win more but I would be happy just to see them do it one time.
  16. I guess Sarah Connor was right.
  17. I hope you are right. My guess is Allen's career with the Bills will be similar to Ben's with the Steelers in that he will have a couple of Lombardi trophy's and a HOF career. The Bills will do a lot more winning than losing just like the Steelers did with Ben. I doubt a dynasty happens. I don't think you will see a run like the Pats had with Bill and Tom ever again.
  18. Seriously what dynasty?
  19. What dynasty?
  20. I hope it does make it. Same for the USFL. More football means the NFL's offseason won't seem so long. Going off of history I doubt either league makes it. Hope I am wrong.
  21. Just wait until the home opener. Primetime game against a team we need payback from last year's game. The atmosphere will be insane. Von will love it. Probably remind him of his Denver days where the Broncos also have a strong homefield advantage. That was something he didn't have last year in LA.
  22. At least he is honest which is refreshing since most times you get a BS answer. Von will be judged by how he plays here especially in the playoffs. Beane got him here as a "final piece" type of move.
  23. This is the best and only helmet the Bills will ever need except of course when they go with the throwbacks which also look good.
