Allen led the Bills on what should have been a game winning drive in Arrowhead. 13 seconds of piss poor defense and coaching is what cost the Bills a chance to play in the Super Bowl. At the very least they would have been in the AFCCG. Home or road was completely meaningless at that point. 13 effin seconds.

LA just isn't a great football market. Maybe college with USC and UCLA but not the pros. When it comes to sports LA is Lakers and Dodgers. I will predict the Chargers won't survive there long term. The Rams probably will because they have some history in LA and somewhat of a fanbase but not the Chargers. They would have been better off moving the Raiders to LA with the Rams and have the Chargers go to Vegas. If the Bills had made the Super Bowl I would bet 75-80% of the crowd would have been Bills Mafia. Buffalo a hard core football mad city vs LA home of the fair weather fan at best.

Let's hope he has as much success with the Pats offense that he did with the Giants.

You are right. Look how long it took Andy Reid. That right there is proof its very to win. I still can't get over 13 seconds. I really think they would have beaten the Bengals at home in a close game. It would be BUF vs LA if not for 13 seconds but we will never know now.

If/when the day comes to where the Bills fire McDermott ( I don't think its happening anytime soon) then I hope Beane gets to make the call on the next HC. I know they are the owners and can do whatever they want but I do not want the Pegula's making the call on the next HC. But McDermott isn't getting fired anytime soon so this is all meaningless speculation.

Go for a DE in FA. As for the draft I would like to see OL, CB, addressed in the early rounds. It will be interesting to see what Beane does.

Agreed the Rams would have been favored. I do think the Bills would have gotten to the Super Bowl though if they held on for those 13 seconds. The Bills defense needs some work this offseason. They are only #1 when playing bad teams with bad QB's.

I do think they would have beaten the Bengals at home. It would have been a tough game though as the Bengals offense would cause problems for the Bills defense. At home I think Allen would win a shootout with Burrow. The Rams would have been a very tough game. The Bills OL vs the Rams DL is not a good matchup. The Bills could beat the Rams but it would take one hell of an effort. Like the Bengals the Rams offense would also give the Bills defense fits.

I am still not over 13 seconds either and probably won't be even when next season is starting. Realistically McDermott isn't getting fired. Both he and Beane have turned this franchise around from the dark days of 17 straight years of no playoffs. Do you trust the Pegula's to find the right coach if they fire McDermott? I don't, just look at the Sabres as an example of how clueless they are. I think they just got lucky with the hiring of McBeane. Just like a broken clock is right twice of day type of thing.

I like the white helmet better. The charging and standing Buffalo stand out better on the white helmet. I think all the uniform combinations look great except the all blues and reds. I wonder if the Bills will ever bring back the blue over white throwbacks? They haven't worn them in years.

I don't think the Titans can afford it with the hit they would take on Tannehill by trading or cutting him. Definitely wouldn't want Rodgers on the Titans. They would become one of the favorites with Rodgers, Henry, Brown.

I would give the USFL a chance again but by spring time I am in Yankees mode along with the NHL playoffs. Unfortunately for me my Islanders are in the toilet.

I have Directv so basically I watch TNF on Fox and or the NFLN. Am I SOL next year with TNF if I don't subscribe to Amazon? I like TNF as its the unofficial start to the weekend. I really haven't been paying attention to what's going on with Amazon and TNF.

If Singletary isn't the answer then the Bills need to find a "Thurman Thomas" to help Allen out. I know Allen's ability to run is a weapon but I hope Dorsey reduces those designed runs for Allen next year and relies on Singletary doing the running. Allen will get hit plenty with sacks, QB scrambles avoiding the rush as it is.
