  1. Right. There's a difference between calling out the refs by name and taking it up with the league (competition committee).
  2. I'd like to see McDermott somehow plant a seed with the NFL beforehand but I don't think he's the type to do that
  3. The refs better not allow it, but Sauce was doing his hands-on thing vs the NYG (preseason) so I'm not optimistic. If that type of play affects the outcome of the 9/11 game, I'll be pissed.
  4. How is Allen being neglected and how are we not "doing right by him"? Please elaborate with specifics.
  5. It's not chest-thumping when it's a statement of fact. It means that others are recognizing the Bills depth and quality of the organization.
  6. Red herring The statement was who is a better QB. There is no debate.
  7. From what I have read, it’s because he has wanted to focus on evaluating players. Makes sense to me.
  8. I’m with you. On my 3rd Guinness, are there any more phrases we can identify?
  9. I’ll pile on with the requisite “get ‘er done Beane” whenever anyone is available via trade
  10. About as data driven as the obligatory spleen references when ANY injury is reported With a TPS report attached
  11. I’ll find a video and compare to the still photos. Tending to my smoked Boston Butt for pulled pork so I’ll have to get back to you.
  12. I appreciate you posting the photo. I’d really like to see it in real speed because I think the initial contact was from the side but as the defender fell he turned to his back side, hence the appearance of hands on the back. I also think Cook’s path took him away from the path the defender was on so any contact by Edwards was inconsequential.
  13. If you have a clip of the replay I’d love to see it. I definitely saw it differently
  14. I only saw it live and did not record the game so I couldn’t see a replay. To me it was clear Edwards made slight lateral (side) contact and nowhere near the back. But I can see in real time how an official may have seen it differently. I noticed Tasker immediately called BS.
  15. Ok @GunnerBill, no problem, we’ll agree to disagree
  16. My mistake, it was Edwards but it was not a block in the back and as others have pointed out, Cook had already cut away from the path of the would be tackler even without the contact.
  17. Have to respectfully disagree Doc. Cook cut away from the angle Sanborn was taking and had no shot at a tackle. Quess had no reason to lay a hand on him.
  18. you cited the stats from today's game, that what I was alluding to to wit: 2 hours ago, syhuang said: One is a bad throw become an interception and another is a good defense play where the cornerback has his hand on the ball. Can’t recall the 3rd one, but don’t get an impression Davis is inconsistent pulling the ball in when watching the game.
