  1. These guys don't watch a lot of games they talk about.
  2. Why? They get good guests and how often do you get insight from an NFL owner. IMO It is worth a watch/listen.
  3. "Today they (Buffalo Bills) are a better team than Kansas City."
  4. Yes. Cowherd has them #1. The Bills are #1 or #2 in a couple power rankings.
  5. Really? Name one. Black head coaches can be just as bad as white head coaches. There is no discrimination when it comes to bad head coaches.
  6. I watch/listen to the Bills Pod Squad with Glab/Pegula. It is good. There should be more woman in positions like this. I don't even have a problem with a woman at GM. There is not athletic ability involved in these positions and woman are perfectly capable of doing them. The problem is the media hypes stupid things like a female kicker at Vanderbilt. Why? Women are not equal to men athletically. They are not athletically gifted enough to play with D1 or Professional football players. Everyone knows that. 95+% of men are not athletically gifted enough to play at that level. This nonsense that woman can compete with elite male athletes is a joke and should stop. I am all for women being involved with the NFL but enough with this nonsense with like the Vanderbilt kicker. I could take a kid off the male soccer team and he would be better than her in 1 day. Everyone knows this.
  7. This is not uncommon. My friend paid $1200 (600 each) for two tickets to Steelers-Cardinals game in Tampa. It was a few hundred below face value. I won't be shocked if this happens this year.
  8. Ridiculous comment. If someone says you can't beat Mahomes with Tyrod Taylor that does not mean Tyrod is covering Mahomes. You can't beat a team like the Chiefs if your offense is not getting productivity from the TE. You have to have a complete offense that can put up points with the Chiefs. We need 3 top receivers (we have them) and productivity from the TE. We need a big target to throw to. That was obvious in the first half of the Steelers game. You beat the Chiefs by scoring lots of points because they are going to score lots of points.
  9. I think Ken Dorsey will be running the Bills Offense next year. I am fine with that. Daboll is probably headed to the Jets. He is a master with young quarterbacks and he is going to get the top young quarterback in the NFL from Clemson. I think that Chargers job is the dream job though. A coach can come in and win the Super Bowl in year 1 with that team.
  10. Bienemay has Reid calling the plays. The media can say all they want but if you watch the Chiefs games you see who is calling the plays. Reid calls them and Mahomes brilliantly orchestrates them and makes the adjustments. Daboll is the one calling the Bills plays. There is a big difference. I think Bienemay is heading to Houston anyway, but Daboll is more coveted at this point because he doesn't have a genius like Reid calling the plays.
  11. Frazier is old and has a terrible head coaching record. I doubt there will be much interest. Even if you were a franchise that wanted to hire an African American coach, you would go young and offensive minded like a Bineiemy from KC or Elliot from Clemson. If you wanted to go defense you would go with Saleh. The only old guys that should get hired in the NFL are guys who have proven winning records like a Rivera or McCarthy who have taken teams to the Super Bowl. And even they aren't in their 60's.
  12. Tickets prices are not just about supply. In fact this year they are probably more about demand. I just don't see the demand.
  13. Nobody is paying big money to sit in a hotel. Not happening. Depending on the matchup, I can see tickets available for $500. This belief that people are dying to go is nonsense. I bet half the players families wouldn't even get on a plane. I sort of agree. I am not sure I wan't to even go if I could get a ticket for $500.
  14. Agreed. You have to beat everyone to win a Super Bowl. There is no real home field so I don't care. Not afraid to go to Kansas City. Our linebackers stay healthy and we can beat anyone.
  15. An interesting debate has broken out. I mentioned it in another thread but it is beginning to play out publicly now. Will this be the most expensive ticket ever or the cheapest ticket ever? What would you be willing to pay if the Bills are in the Super Bowl? I would probably go to $500 but no higher. It just might be better to watch on television if you can't leave your hotel anyway. As one mid-level broker said, “If there isn’t a party, that hurts a lot. You want to sell people on being out and eating and drinking and going to the beach. Part of the attraction will hinge on that. Nobody is going to pay a premium to go sit in a hotel.” The broker paused for a moment and chuckled, adding a shrugging thought: “Or maybe nobody will want to go at all because all this [expletive] could still be just like it is right now. Maybe nobody will even want to pay average Super Bowl ticket prices if it won’t be the same experience. Or [President-elect] Joe Biden decides the day after the inauguration that we’re not doing sports events for a couple months. “Who really knows? You see what I mean? It’s impossible to call at this point.” https://au.finance.yahoo.com/news/super-bowl-lv-could-be-most-expensive-and-covi-dtested-nfl-ticket-in-history-072939370.html
  16. There is no interest in this year's game from a ticket standpoint or even from a television commercial standpoint (they have not even sold out the tv commercial space yet). There will not be any corporate events like the usual events from Budweiser, etc. All the "holds" on event space are no longer holds. They are just cancelled. A major ticket broker said they expect the tickets to go at slightly higher than face value and that is if if there is 50% capacity. They said the only thing that could change that is if the Bucs are in the game. There is no appetite for tickets right now. That could change once the two teams are known, but usually at this point corporations have bought up everything. This year they are buying absolutely nothing. The halftime show will likely be performed in a "bubble" somewhere too, not on the field.
  17. I think this is the year only fans of the home teams will be showing up. If they allow a full stadium (it is FL after all) I think the demand will be soft, primarily because people are afraid of air travel and staying in hotels. I think if we get a Buffalo vs Green Bay/Seattle/New Orleans game I think there might actually be a surplus of tickets.
  18. You are probably right. I think they need to make an improvement an get rid of Knox. You can't beat a Travis Kelce with a Knox. Nobody is Kelce but the gap can't be that large. Bills need a TE. With Allen as QB they should be able to get people interested in coming to Buffalo.
  19. That was brutal. So was the Dolphins kicking the field goal late in the Chiefs game.
  20. Corporations have a ton of money. They just aren't spending it to send people to the Super Bowl or any even that requires travel. There is not a corporation in America that is spending a nickel on travel or entertainment. I believed the Browns hype after the Titans, but I was wrong. The Browns are not a good football team. They have no chance against the Chiefs. Right now I think the Bills are heading to Kansas City but I also think they will get the #2 seed and two home playoff games.
  21. The Browns are not a good football team. They have given up 368 points. The Browns are being outscored 368-348 on the year. Good teams are not being outscored by their opponents going into week 15. Even with the blowout loss to the Titans, the Bills are outscoring their opponents 359-321. The Browns have beaten a bunch of bad teams in very close games. They are a mediocre team that gets a lot of hype off one win over the Titans. The Ravens are a much better team. If they had a better quarterback they would be fighting for the #1 seed.
  22. Without corporate money, and there is not going to be any corporate spending on tickets for this Super Bowl, it is highly unlikely the ticket prices will be anywhere near usual. People forget the reason Super Bowl tickets get so expensive is because you are bidding against corporate accounts that don't care about price. There are not a ton of average people that have $2500 hanging around to buy a ticket.
  23. Hate? Try reality. He is not a good quarterback. Every good quarterback can throw the ball. Lamar was easy to figure out. It only took the NFL defensive coordinators a season. He now looks like a middle of the road quarterback that will never take his team very far. Nothing wrong with that. The NFL is filled with guys like him. You can't go very far in the NFL if you can't throw, not when Mahomes, Rogers, and Allen are playing. You might win a playoff game ( he is 0-2 in the playoffs), but you aren't winning 3 or 4 playoff games needed to win a Super Bowl. It is a throw or die league. That is why receivers make so much more than running backs, and quarterbacks make the big money.
