First half was excellent. If you ignore the fumbles Josh was more or less perfect. Diggs is great. Every ball thrown to him just sticks. Second half was frustrating and I would have liked them to just keep passing like in the first instead of running the ball, which clearly didn't work. Now let's have a 400 game!

Gameday Thread Bills vs. Jets 2nd Half.
Freak-O replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills win this quite easily but still, such a frustrating game to watch. So many bad mistakes that would have cost us against a better team. I was very happy in the first half, but the second was just not good enough. Bad, bad football. -

Remember last season where this team usually could only play one good half of football per game? I really hope they've gotten rid of that bad habit. -
Another Bills reporter trying to make himself the story

Fromm was asked a few questions and in NONE of his replies he actively supported LGBTQ rights, denounced Hitler or insisted women are biologically identical to men. I find this very offensive and he is a bad, bad person! -
Every time Beane has traded or released a highly rated player it has turned out to be the right move and made the team stronger. I trust him. I think he's earned our trust.

Why Was Frank Gore So Ineffective Down The Stretch?

I thought it was more like every time he touched the ball they went backwards, at least towards the end. -

If these numbers aren't enough for a #1 receiver then how many teams have one? -
Bills sign 10 players to reserve/future contracts

"In Christian Wade's particular case, being a part of the international pathway programme, he is going to be the eleventh exempt member which means he can be on the practice squad and he is an eleventh member so they get that additional player on there. He cannot be called up at any point this season which is the difference. It does protect him from being claimed by another team." https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/rugby/christian-wade-buffalo-bills-wasps-16858265 -
The Texans made half time adjustments and started playing better. The Bills stopped playing well and had some bad calls from the refs. The margins were so small in this game that a stop at 3rd & 18 or a non call on Fords hit or a half a dozen other things could have changed the outcome. The team was not good enough this season to win a game against a good opponent without a little luck, or at least without bad luck. I think the players kind of folded under the pressure in the second half and this will be a valuable experience for the future. Was McDermott flawless? No, but I wouldn't put this on him. He's taken a team with the longest playoff drought in pro sports to two playoffs in three seasons. I'm excited for the next season! The Patriots are fading, the Bills are getting stronger and god knows what's going on with the Dolphins and Jets. Next season will be fun!

Wasn't there a rule about not being allowed to call him up since he was had a special extra spot on the PS? -
Should season ticket holders protest?
Freak-O replied to Rocbillsfan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There should be some sort of official explanation from the NFL. The refs did not follow the rule book in a very important game and it might have changed the outcome. Some of us are angry, but we don't know the Bills would have won had it been called a TD or safety. We'll get over it. However, this must not ever happen again and that's why the NFL needs to address it. Why was Allen's fumble called a fumble? Common sense says that wasn't his intention at all! And Ford's blindside hit was also an error in judgement, common sense says he didn't want to cause a penalty costing his team the game. I would also like to be the first to congratulate the 1991 Superbowl champions the Buffalo Bills, because there's no way in hell Norwood intended to miss that field goal. -
Thank you! I've been wondering how to put users on ignore but never really had the energy to bother investigating it. You gave me that energy.

That QB will probably be Fitzpatrick, to complete his tour of the AFC East.

AFC South beat AFC East today, and I thought that was the weakest division...

Duke today, did the bad outweigh the good?
Freak-O replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he was pretty good. He dropped some balls but those were partly because of defenders doing things well. A top receiver in the league might hold on to those but no one really thinks he's one of those. He's definitely good enough for the NFL and I like him as part of the Bills. -
They play gutsy until they've got something to lose, then they start playing scared/conservatively. Today's TD was glorious and I'd wish they'd to stuff like that when leading with 13-0 as well.

Hauschka - made 19 out of his last 20 kicks
Freak-O replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know why he was shaky all of a sudden. Maybe he was injuredm maybe he was going through personal stuff, who knows? He's played well in the end of the season and should be a part of the team next season. -
Allen's lateral was a brilliant way to stop the clock.

Late Ford personal foul call a joke
Freak-O replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills played great for one half and were garbage the other. The Texans were garbage in the first and great in the other. OT was pretty even. The refs kind of tipped the scale. The Bills had every chance to win this game though and it's a shame they choked. -
Remember when the Bills didn't pick up the ball in the endzone after a kickoff and the other team jumped on it for a TD? Clearly they MEANT to pick upp the ball. How could the refs not recognize that?! Sure, they didn't actually pick up the ball as the rules say, but they meant to. At least they didn't mean for the other team to score, so it definitely shouldn't have counted.

The O-line wasn't very helpful at times.

If Duke makes that TD catch Allen looks SO much better.

Defense not getting a stop at 3rd & 18. The refs for that flag on the blindside block. Defense for not bringing down Watson on the second to last play.
-
The ref was very close, clearly observing everything and signaled for a TD. Overturning it because it was caused by someone making a huge mistake is okay when small children are playing, not in the NFL playoffs. It's not the reason we lost but it's one of the reasons we didn't win and it sucks.
