If you want to prove his game speed is slow, at least put some effort in and find some game film that points to that, instead of assuming no one else ran top speed in the drills. I’m pretty sure the Bills staff has seen more of him than the combine.

But if I’m sacked a few times before that happens I might be in trouble… I also think I would score if I played a season in the NHL, simply by being of NHL size standing in front of the goalie in power plays redirection shots (only vaguely on purpose). Where you’d never be even close to scoring is in a top level soccer match. Unless you’d take penalties of course.

You don’t just go from being really good to quite poor at such a young age. There must have been a problem of some sorts that is fixable.

A couple of years ago many of these players leaving would have really hurt, but with most of them sadly now it was time. When the going gets tough, Diggs goes missing.

I think it lifts it even further if the high and mighty Diggs doesn’t even know the name of his “Brother” that he just has to visit at the hospital.

He might have held other players accountable but I’m not sure he held himself accountable, and if he did he was delusional. He was supposed to be one of the team’s absolute top players and he performed like a disposable average journeyman. When the time came to step up, he stepped down. Or no, the took the elevator down.

In 2022 he wanted to be here and the Bills thought he was good so they extended him. Now he doesn’t and they don’t. He’s not old enough to warrant this drop off in production. Is it easy to always be right in hindsight? Yes.
