  1. In this defense against the run it absolutely. Against the pass yes he needs to put pressure on the qb. Interior lineman are not known to be pass rushers
  2. If people are comparing Oliver to Aaron Donald then yes he sucks. Oliver's role on this defense isnt to make tackles and or sacks. His role is to take on blocks and free up LBs... He will never statistically look like a stud, but has done a great job so far this year.
  3. surely you cant be serious. I am serious and dont you call me Shirley.
  4. I dont get the love for Edmunds. What exactly has he done? Consistently makes tackles 4, 5, 6 yards down the field. He has 0 TFL this year. In coverage he doesn't make plays. Last night there were at least 2 plays I could see that should have been picked if Edmunds was a good MLB. Instead both were caught for first downs... I will admit the DL didnt help as Olineman were climbing to Edmunds nearly every run play. My hope is the Bills let Milano walk move Edmunds to his spot ( more of a coverage in space position) and draft or pick up a solid run stopping MLB
  5. Agreed, reminds me alot of watching the University of Florida
  6. in 3/5 games he has averaged less than 3.3 yds/carry, so the narrative that the run game is struggling isnt off.
  7. What is the bigger problem with the inability to run the ball consistently. Is it the oline or the coaching/scheme? Our run game is very vanilla, and looks to be a simple zone scheme. Theres no power, or misdirection.. The oline is doing a rather good job is pass protecting, making me think its more scheme than players. what are your thoughts.
  8. So you're counting on kickers to run down and make tackles? lol
  9. Are the extra two kickers going to be the Gunners on punts and kickoffs? In your theory keeping more kickers actually makes the special teams worse not better.
  10. Doesn't matter how good your WR are. IF the QB cant hit the deep, and scare teams into playing 2 high safety the WR position doesn't matter... As of right now Allen really struggles with the deep ball. I believe he hit less than 25% on balls over 20yds. That is absolutely terrible
  11. Teams will not be scared of the deep game until allen starts hitting the deep ball. Allen missed brown on deep balls more than I can count. I see teams still playing 1 high even with a true 1 until Allen can prove he can hit the deep ball consistently
  12. Diggs ability to catch 50 50 balls is a huge asset the Bills are getting. Not sure I remember the last Bills WR with his ball skills. The biggest problem with Watkins is hes not good "in the air" getting 50 50, an attribute a good #1 needs.
  13. Does anyone know or where to get information on how often Dimarco is on the field. I wonder if the Bills running game is that much better with him out there. I wonder cause he takes a roster spot. Teams are starting to use ST LBs, and TEs as a FB to save a spot. May be worth a look.
  14. Steve "Tisker a tasker, special teams master" . One of the most selfless Bills in my life time. (36) Was always easy to talk to when seen in public. Did whatever it took to help the team.
  15. I say any combination on the first 8 could start on most if not all 31 other teams. Basically have 2 starting lines, so absolutely yes.
  16. Trevon Diggs is drafted in the top 20.. Long lengthy DB, good size with great ball skills.
  17. A one year rental, or have to pay the guy 5-7mil/yr in a new contract just isn't worth it. Draft a RB that they value, hold on to Yeldon who is a great receiving RB. No need to trade for fournette
  18. I believe culture says a lot, especially at the QB position. EJ would've been better off sitting a yr or 2 behind a guy like Fitzpatrick. Not saying he would've been a stud, but would've had a better career IMO... Losing your confidence is killer. You start thinking to much, and not trusting what you see. Last thing a qb can do is second guess... I was a pro EJ guys and wanted it to work out.
  19. "lowest value of draft picks" wasn't clear enough. what should the title of been, unreal. I totally agree. I think it just shows that its gonna be tough for the Bills to move up other than in the later rounds. If the Bills want to move up in the 2nd or 3rd round they'll probably have to give up capital in next years draft.
  20. according to this chart tweeted out by field yates the Bills have the least amount of value in this yrs draft. https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1250840064457834497/photo/1
  21. "BY FAR" is a stretch. Look at their stats, they are nearly identical... I agree I like Diggs better, but the Bills definitely over paid.
  22. statistically these two are very similar. Who has the more value... Bills gave up a lot for diggs, Texans only a second rounder for cooks. I like Diggs better as a player, but knowing a 2nd rounder would've got Cooks, i'd rather the 2nd for Cooks and see what the 1st rounder would land the Bills.
  23. Running back I say Freddy. I know he wasn't drafted but the Bills picked him up before he had any run with another team. Also didn't Spiller get a 1 yr deal after his rookie deal?... TE isn't as big of deal to hit big in the draft. Bills seem to have consistant Avg TE play.... and QB well of course.
