There's actually a bunch of us who joined on that exact date (or used to be; many have moved on). I think it was the first day that SDS had completed all his prep and made the new site available. As a (former) Pirates fan I was required by law to hope that Bonds would get plunked in his fat head every time he stepped to the plate.

Honestly, I think the whole HR derby thing just makes the game even more boring to watch. I'd much rather watch guys raking balls into gaps, good gloves, aggressive base-running, big throws on plays at the plate, etc.

But all you really need to know is that when it came time for what was literally the biggest, most important possession of the entire season, the coaching staff was more comfortable with James Cook on the bench. 🤔 That is not the kind of reality we can just readily dismiss.

I was talking more tactically than strategically. They can usually hide the hole by running more horizontally than vertically, but it should definitely create some breathing room against better defenses in elimination games if they can find somebody to threaten defenses outside the hashes.

It doesn't even have to be boundary talent. If Kincaid can get his head out, the Bills can stress defenses enough between the hashes to create a lot of opportunities for the slot.

I think Buffalo deserves one before any of those cities.

I'm certainly glad he cleanly fielded a ball that rolled right to him, but there is probably a reason he had that many tackles. I think if you rewatched film of that game, you'd probably see that he genuinely had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day in coverage.

Jodie Foster really nailed Sagan's Ellie Arroway character. Great book, wonderful film. 👍

I've read two things digging around and can confirm neither. Fwiw: 1) Potatoes have been phased out of several of the varieties and those flavors are now all corn. 2) They used to have hydrolyzed wheat gluten in them but it's no longer used. Yeah, but what doesn't? 🤷‍♂️

Everybody has half a bag I think cuz that texture gradually gets a little shadier the deeper into the bag you get. I don't buy them at home for that reason, but they always end up in the vehicle during longer multi-day/week roadtrips and there's always half a bag left when I clean out the truck.
