  1. Not only is one of those guys still around, he is actually in this very thread. 🤯
  2. There's actually a bunch of us who joined on that exact date (or used to be; many have moved on). I think it was the first day that SDS had completed all his prep and made the new site available. I could be wrong but I think that SDS is the only person that actually has a join date prior to September 5, 2001 and he's only a few days earlier. We be OGs, homey.
  3. Larry Moss was Brown's stepfather; he married Brown's mother and raised Antonio from around age 5.
  4. Anybody else read the title and immediately think that Dawkins would look like Belushi sneaking into Dean Wormer's building?
  5. He's been a total *****nut since he was a teenager. Direct quotes from his stepfather: 'A lot of things that Tony's doing, nothing surprises me. I'm surprised that it took them this long to figure him out. Because he’s been this way since he’s been 12 years old..... it was just one thing after another, one thing after another,” Moss said. “He was just a problem kid, man.... Antonio Brown is a fraud, man. He's not a good person."
  6. As a (former) Pirates fan I was required by law to hope that Bonds would get plunked in his fat head every time he stepped to the plate.
  7. Honestly, I think the whole HR derby thing just makes the game even more boring to watch. I'd much rather watch guys raking balls into gaps, good gloves, aggressive base-running, big throws on plays at the plate, etc.
  8. I want to see them doing monkey rolls while they're wearing them
  9. Once the Bills let Cook walk sail, maybe it will be safe for them to sign Hawaiian players again.
  10. I take it you've never met these two?
  11. You were not kidding; that actually hurt Here's a couple pieces from Spearhead & Franti with a different feel/delivery you might like better. And a couple more oldschool guys that you might not have been lucky enough to be exposed to yet:
  12. It was like rap and slam poetry both sort of evolved around a similar time from the same spoken word source. I miss the earlier days when folks were more willing to work alongside live musicians; I feel like an important aspect has been lost since that has gone out of vogue. Shout out to @R. Rich for turning me on to a lot of this. This was the peak of its artistic form, imo.
  13. You're probably thinking of Debby Harry of Blondie; it wasn't the first but it was the first to get near the top of charts. I was jamming with a bunch of older black dudes one night and one of them told me the first actual rapper was Frank Zappa
  14. He's been genuinely outstanding with the ball in his hands for the last year and a half. But all you really need to know is that when it came time for what was literally the biggest, most important possession of the entire season, the coaching staff was more comfortable with James Cook on the bench. 🤔 That is not the kind of reality we can just readily dismiss.
  15. I was talking more tactically than strategically. They can usually hide the hole by running more horizontally than vertically, but it should definitely create some breathing room against better defenses in elimination games if they can find somebody to threaten defenses outside the hashes.
  16. It doesn't even have to be boundary talent. If Kincaid can get his head out, the Bills can stress defenses enough between the hashes to create a lot of opportunities for the slot.
  17. I think Buffalo deserves one before any of those cities.
  18. I'm certainly glad he cleanly fielded a ball that rolled right to him, but there is probably a reason he had that many tackles. I think if you rewatched film of that game, you'd probably see that he genuinely had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day in coverage.
  19. The NFL hasn't released the Bills schedule yet
  20. If you were looking for the shortest path to completely destroying your credibility, I can think of few more efficient ones than repeatedly comparing Josh Allen to Cam Newton.
  21. Saving Private Ryan Pulp Fiction Cyrano de Bergerac (w/ Jose Ferrer) The Big Lebowski Close Encounters of the Third Kind Damn, 5 is a tough number. No Butch and Sundance, No Paper Moon, no Apocalypse Now, no Secondhand Lions, no Dances with Wolves, no Jaws, no No Country for Old Men. That's a brutal chopping block. Jodie Foster really nailed Sagan's Ellie Arroway character. Great book, wonderful film. 👍
  22. There's no way he's catching 500 balls.....
  23. You must be wearing sunglasses in the house again.
  24. I've read two things digging around and can confirm neither. Fwiw: 1) Potatoes have been phased out of several of the varieties and those flavors are now all corn. 2) They used to have hydrolyzed wheat gluten in them but it's no longer used. Yeah, but what doesn't? 🤷‍♂️
  25. Everybody has half a bag I think cuz that texture gradually gets a little shadier the deeper into the bag you get. I don't buy them at home for that reason, but they always end up in the vehicle during longer multi-day/week roadtrips and there's always half a bag left when I clean out the truck.
