Once again we have a multi-page thread about people being outraged, with zero evidence of people actually being outraged. That is going to be the primary reason this thread gets shut down shortly. The secondary reason is that I don't like suspending people, have already had to do it once and don't want to have to do it again.

I thought he was just signaling first down while he watched the play on the big screen.

I wonder how much of that was a function of James Cook inexplicably spending much of the last 2 1/2 qrtrs on the sideline. I'm still suspicious that he hurt himself on the 2nd TD run.

Was it just me or did you get the sense that Allen spent most of the first half reading deep to short and the Chiefs were simply not going to allow it to happen downfield?

Also Thursday around the same time...

Yet, he's outstanding in passpro and spends more time burying people at the second level than anybody else on this team. It might be an issue that his frame can only hold enough weight by taking on a pear shape. It's clearly working for him so who the hell are we to say anything about it?

Josh Allen Punched in the head two weeks in a row

That's why I qualified it with "often". Everybody does it sometime, but I get the sense that Beane is pretty forward thinking and doesn't do it as much as other teams. They seem more inclined to fill holes in FA and use draft picks on targets they like as players. I'd cover that for you any day, but I don't believe for a second you'd punch an innocent horse instead of just wrangling the guy sitting on it.

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Simon replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
For the Bills, I'd describe it as "We have one guy that can be a threat outside and he's a rookie; we're going to need one more" And frankly, I think that their offseason plan was to fill that hole with a vet WR at the deadline all along, and we were all freaking out about nothing because they were playing a longer game than fans can hack. -
11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

Hamstrings suck. They just won't go away and it's probably something he'll be sporadically dealing with the rest of the year. -
They were definitely getting pushed around up front in the earlier parts of the game. I did think they got better as the game evolved though.

The Bills don't seem like they often fall into the trap of drafting for immediate need. I wonder if you might get a more accurate read on their intent if you look at what their needs might be a couple years down the road.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

C'mon man, he made multiple fantastic throws under duress and on the move. The kind of throws that only a handful of guys in the world can ever make. If you plugged an average NFL QB into that offense with no weapons worth a damn going against a confusing defense that was winning up front, teh Chiefs likely get blown out of the building. Mahomes numbers were never going to look great, but he kept that team in that game yesterday in a way that 90% of other QB's couldn't. -
Benford, Bernard & Shakir…re-sign all of them?
Simon replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love Shakir both as a player and a person, but I'm not sure the Bills will be able to afford him. They are likely not going to break the bank for a slot receiver, nor should they, but it's also likely that somebody else will. -

I thought that was 100% on Knox for stopping his route instead of continuing across the safety's face. I think Allen had to adjust midthrow when Knox settled in the worst spot possible and ended up just having to unnaturally flick a jump ball because of it. It's part of the reason I rarely ever want the Bills to use Knox as a target on downs that are going to decide possession; he's not as bad as Gabe Davis, but he's still just too unreliable. -

It's become a bit of a running gag around here in regards to Diggs.

Mike Tyson is hungry too. -
#1 - Somebody called them a poverty franchise and I think that's a great descriptor; they let too many "good" players walk because they don't want to pay them and all the sudden they're top-heavy and thin everywhere else. #2 - Joe Burrow is more mercurial than Stefon Diggs.
