  1. Part of the answer is he’s had pretty terrible wideouts in Baltimore (albeit with a TE.) Another part of the answer is he can’t really throw outside the numbers that well. It’s a legit limitation of his that he may or may not improve. Who said “Lamar won MVP, ergo he’s a great passer?”
  2. Lamar’s had one great year and one good year. I don’t really count the rookie year. I don’t think he’s better than Allen - never said anything of the sort. As for the rest of this, I still can’t reason why you’re so confused with earlier replies when your post linked MVP and playoff performance whether you meant to or not. It wasn’t worded well. Sorry you’re offended ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. What does this even mean? The two aren’t linked in any way. You’re responding to us like we’re dense when you’re not explaining whatever point this is clearly at all. Playoff games are tougher to win; the competition is more talented than many of the team you play in the regular season. But you’re saying (I think?) an MVP QB should never go one and done in playoffs? Sorry no. The MVP award is an individual honor, Wins and losses are on the team.
  4. what doesn’t add up? Playoff numbers/results don’t factor into MVP voting.
  5. Jackson’s style of play is also completely baked into the Raven’s offense at this point, both in playcalling and personnel. Which makes him especially valuable to them.
  6. you can have whatever opinion you want about Jackson - I don’t think he’s any sort of world beater either. That opinion means less than nothing. You’re ignoring the basic economics of the NFL. LJ is considered a proven commodity at this point and QBs like that get paid, period. We’ll circle back once that deal gets done since you called me crazy and you can apologize chief.
  7. You’d be assuming wrong. He is 100% going to get paid by the Ravens, probably more than Allen.
  8. Should’ve been fired years ago. Good riddance.
  9. His 25,000 number is a wild exaggeration but yes there are many people that tailgate and do not go into the game.
  10. 🤢 that stuff is nasty. Bad choice.
  11. Absolutely. Rumors abound but the final cost of SoFi was reportedly somewhere around $5.5 billion. 🤯
  12. this is simply not true - the Bills were tied with a few other teams going into last season with the 5th toughest schedule (based on how it’s usually calculated - collective win% of opponents.) But the larger point is SoS does not carry over year to year. It has zero predictive value Y2Y.
  13. Well they had 3 roster spots available might as well bring in another camp body.
  14. Bro you know nothing of what JW’s job requires or entails. @GunnerBill tried to explain it before Wawrow hopped into the thread but I guess you still don’t get it. Not my job to explain it any further. JW wasn’t being petty he was trying to educate shaw in how stupid he sounded in this thread. That’s it. And again, as I’ve said to @Shaw66 already, I love his stuff especially the recaps. I can tell he actually watches the games and understands football, unlike @Virgil
  15. I am not trying to argue either like I said your posts are excellent. This take not so much.
  16. i completely understand your point of view on the reporting even if I disagree. I replied to the “lalala” post that doesn’t express any POV except pettiness.
  17. wow all that legal lecturing and then you throw an “endite” in there 🤡.
  18. based on your recent posts, i doubt it.
  19. well no you miss an pretty important fact - JW said that because Allen and others said it was buttoned up and handled “inside the team” back in OTAs or whenever he addressed it. Between then and now? Multiple Beasley meltdowns on twitter. So what Allen said didn’t really hold for Beasley did it (or Hughes, or Feliciano, for that matter.) I do think you are right that once camp starts they’ll be saying less about this, but the whole point was why are reporters being shut down trying to ask questions when some players just turn around and go on the offensive about Covid stuff? great contribution 🙄. Very unlike you in all honesty. Take the L on this one and move on you post to excellent stuff almost all the time.
  20. Pretty much exactly that - laborers in the Carolinas produced a lot of tar and pitch for the shipping industry back in the day.
  21. She is being hired by The Buffalo News, not ESPN (or so I thought.) edit: nevermind I see what you meant now. Yeah MLJ is awesome not sure what that poster is on about. Still has nightmares about Rodak apparently. Time to move on.
  22. Is “the ticks” much worse than “the zips”?
  23. whataboutism - the post. And not a very good one.
  24. it’s pretty close though, isn’t it? And your 2nd paragraph is pure racism. But at least you got that dumb hat! Do you think wahoo s*** isn’t still being sold all over the place just because the team disowned it a couple years ago? No. The team had to make this change.
  25. Well there’s the hornets, yellow jackets, bees…and I think there is a college somewhere with the spiders. Edit: yeah U of Richmond are the spiders. also yes. There’s boll weevils(!) too apparently.
