You want Texans in Buffalo. Screw the rest.
-
Why is everyone ignoring the facts? KC’s schedule was soft as a pillow! The only decent offensive teams they played, they’re either lost to, played their back up QB, or it was the Dolphins. How they haven’t been persecuted unmercifully for this is beyond me. Their D is about like ours when we had the “#1 defense” that got beat by the Chiefs in 13 seconds. That year I believe we faced 8 rookie or back-up QBs to pas the stats.

I thought they said Spector was a definite go, surprised he’s already ruled out, must be more there than we knew. ***** Kirksey, why couldn’t he just wait it out? 😂

With Lamar’s history of coming up small in big moments and the way the Texans D is playing, there is no reason to think they can’t make it a game. If Stroud continues to walk on water, the Ravens will be sitting at home for the AFC Championship game. It’s insane to see the Texans where they are, but I’m not underestimating them with Stroud on the roster.

They did, but don’t forget 14pts were from the D and they had short fields a lot of the game. They played perfect “complimentary football”.

I feel fine
excluding the regular season game we played against each other the Chiefs are 1-3 w a -6 point differential vs playoff teams
the Bills are 4-1 w a +59 point differential
the last time they scored 30+ points was in November vs the Chargers
they are a dead average middle of the pack offense who shouldn't scare anyone
If you want to feel even better, review their season, their best win is against… THE DOLPHINS! The team blasted for no quality wins, is the only significant win on the Chiefs record. -
I feel pretty good about this one. Injuries will be a big factor, really need some of the guys back on D, so that’s going to be tough. That said, Allen looked SHARP last game. If he brings the calm, cool, killer attitude with him, I think this is a win. To me, the absolute biggest thing is getting Douglas back to match up w Kelce and obviously Johnson would be a big help. The zone is going to be tested with Rice, but Kermit has not looked infallible this year so that is encouraging.
Their D has been good, but they have played a lot of REALLY mediocre offenses, look at their schedule, the Lions were the best O they faced all year and that was the first game of the year before their rookies went scorched earth. People talk about the Dolphins having an easy schedule and no quality wins, KC’s best win this year is against THE DOLPHINS.
For as down on this team as I have been all year, I think there’s a legit shot at the SB this year, nobody out there is unbeatable. The Ravens have a tough test this week, and are notoriously bad in the playoffs, to me they are the best team left, but McClappy has had their number, I think the Bills can win that if they get there. The NFC is a complete ***** show, so whoever makes it, still is beatable. There’s never been a better opportunity for the Bills to “steal” a title than this year. It would be amazing to pull it off.
Next year only gets tougher as Burrow returns, Stroud/Texans continue to rise, SD gets new coach/new life and some of these other teams that just missed out get back to full strength, with some faith in their ability. The Bills need to add some pieces to stay at the top and don’t have a lot to work with money wise, so we are going to be running a lot of it back and hoping for some big improvements from guys who aren’t quite there yet.
GO Bills!

If Hyde retires I'd love him back as a coach.
Do we re-sign Rapp to start and find another vet or draft a kid in say Round 2 assuming we go WR in Round 1?
Personally, I don’t want Rapp back as anything more than a back-up, so if he comes back, it changes nothing to me. I’d look for a solid vet option and be looking to draft somebody that can be a real solution in the 2nd-4th rounds.

If you say so. I have a life, so I have not re-watched every game, but watching PO is the same story as it always has been, terrible angles, missed opportunities and a few big hits. Hyde is still the brains of the operation.

It's actually not - it's 1 of the most misused "definitions"

I knew that; however, the definition of insanity is thinking Mike McCarthy is going to ever get you over the jump.

Basically the definition of insanity.
Heads are going to explode when they make Dak the highest paid QB this off-season too.

Cook kinda looks like Kamara.. I’m just saying

I think Po is about cooked. Hyde, when healthy, is still really good. As a pair, I’d take them back; however, if Hyde goes, I’m dumping Po too.

I hate losing the option (if he can't play) - he is one of our long threats. But we still have a potent offense. Seems like the Knox/Kincaid combo is finally kicking into gear, and Diggs & Shakir give us a lot of versatility. Cook can catch out of the backfield, and man, would I love to see them get the ball to Harty more in space. When he has some room, he can really make things happen.
Let’s be real, Davis is not fast when he’s healthy, he’s only a deep threat because he is the guy they would rather have run straight vs try to nuanced tree. Shakir and Harty can both do more than him as a WR, blocking, well that’s better with the big body. The other consideration, exactly how many times does anyone think we are “going deep” in the middle of January in Buffalo? Honestly, Davis is not a big loss and it might well be a net gain to get the more explosive guys on the field. No offense to Davis, but I don’t think he scores the way Shakir did last week. Shakir was absolutely electric in college and has found his sea legs in the pros, he should get more touches and has been earning them. I know this is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, but I think the kid can be a Diggs-type WR for us next year and beyond. I’m not saying he’s going to be a 100 catch guy, but he got similar size and skills to Diggs and looks like he can do a little of everything, kind of like Diggs. Given the opportunity, I think he can actually do considerably more than Davis if he’s pressed into the #2 role.- 1

Really hope he’s not actually playing, dude is sooooooo slow to punt, can’t afford a block.

Dooooo it and make sure it’s heavy in signing bonus so you can’t cut him without a massive cap hit later.

I'm really curious about what the actual roadblocks to signing Araiza are.
Not even for right now. Just ever.
There are none, he’ll be competing in a trading camp next season, maybe here.

He's been speaking much more optimistically than reality, sort of like Von. Last week people were mentioning his post game interview but you only had to watch him on the sideline to see how hobbled he was when he had to move. No way he could have played this week and I'll be thrilled if he can go next week
With pain killers, a lot of things are possible.

I’m going to take the positive side of this, if it was turned into a situation where McClappy wouldn’t allow a pass bc of the wind, we were likely to struggle. At least now, the offense shouldn’t be as impacted. This should be better for us.

It’s bull ***** to make a game exclusive to another pay service, if I wasn’t already on the hook for the subscription to watch the Bills game, I would just say screw it.

Next Bills DC? 🤔
Nah, F-him!
Ha! If he were interested in coming to Buffalo, McD should be fired before the game on Sunday to make room. One is arguably the greatest coach in history (though a lousy GM) and the other is a never has been…

I think it’s going to be more of the same - continued disappointment in the #2 role and Sherf Sr as more targets drift to Kincaid and Shakir. For what it’s worth I do not think Sherfield is a better WR than Gabe no, but also am not sure if it matters much
This. Gabes targets go primarily to Kincaid, and Shakir gets some more opportunities, which is a good thing IMO.
