I'm not a huge college fan so it depends on how many quality QBs are going to be drafted in the Top 10-12.

Your teams are the ones probably too far away to get one.  So I kind of agree with you.

Denver will eat $68M in cap.  A team trading for him would have him for 2 years with a total cost of $54M.

He has no dead cap after that so a team could move on after 2 years.

I can see someone doing that.

Nobody is paying that disaster 27+ a year, on the open market he’s worth MAYBE 15.  Ok, reality like 5 as a back up, but his name might carry him.   Better off w Mayfield by a mile.

The Ravens have struggled against inferior teams too.  They struggled against the Chargers, one legged Joe Burrow, the Titans, the Cards and lost the Colts and Steelers.

They aren’t the class of the AFC.

Who’s better? Really, who can you say is better? They have only LOST 3 games, the Bills choked 6 times,  Miami is a fraud, it’s hard to take a Flacco lead team serious as the best, so who else?

I’ve had it. I am no longer even listening to anyone who says Lawrence is even a top-15 quarterback. He’s not. He’s a mediocre, overrated loser. He’s Derek Carr with Barbie’s haircut.

Friggin shameful we lost to him.

With you, the Jags are frauds.  I think you nailed him.  He’s a purgatory QB, just good enough to keep you winning enough games to get ***** draft picks and never get anywhere in the playoffs.

I know it’s not on now, but how about Flacco? Dude is playing good football.

There was some narrative early in the season that Allen was surrounded by bums. Josh is our best player and a top 3 qb but can we finally argee that there is legit good talent on this offense?

    - one of the most improved (and honestly one of the best o lines in the nfl)

    - a top 5 receiver

    - a top 5 rb who is breaking out big time

    - a 1st round TE who is emerging as one of the best receiving TEs in the nfl

obviously, Allen is the star but can we finally admit this is a really good group around him? How many groups are better? SF, Philly, Miami, and maybe Detroit?

This is almost as bad as the post I saw yesterday , proclaiming La Porta the best TE in the league and OROY.

Let him get back up to speed and then be active against MIA if everything is looking good. No need to thrust him back into the trenches against LAC or NE.

The only way either of those teams can beat us is running the ball, they both have good backs, I would not take them lightly.   The Bills did a nice job against Pollard, but that said, they got 4 extra offensive possessions from Dallas stupidity (penalties and not challenging the Diggs fumble) and put them in a hole so a balanced attack was out the window.

Let’s not forget who the Bills have lost to this year, there are NO sure things.  If they lose to a Stick and knock themselves out of the playoffs, I’ll be forced to quit watching football forever.

You’re not wrong…  But players tend to come back much more slowly from ACL’s than pecs.

For example, TJ Watt had 10 tackles, 2 QB hits and an INT in his first two games back from a pec tear last year.

Milano had a sack, 5 tackles, 1 TFL, and 3 QB hits in his first two games back after he came back from his pec tear in 2020.

Because of the position he plays and the leverage he needs, this may be different for D Jones. But in general, we have seen players hit the ground running after a pec return.

I’m optimistic he can come back and play at a high level.  Comparing what a NT has to do vs what a LB does is not similar.  Watt and Milano can make an impact simply by being in the right place at the right time, Jones has to maul his was past a 300+lb man EVERY snap, hand fighting the entire time.  Full strength in your limbs is vastly more important.   It sure would be great to have him back and making an impact going into the playoffs.

That’s a lotta beef in the middle.  Having them rotate all game will let Oliver keep feasting.  It would be a really nice boost for the final stretch here.

I think that’s more realistic, we can’t forget where Joseph came from.  Relying on him to last the whole season at a high level is a risk at best, I’d rather have him play at 100% for 50% of his current snaps than 75% on any of them, assuming Jones is ready to go 100% for his reps of course.

  8. Personally, I’m glad it was only a one year deal and he was NOT brought in as a replacement to Poyer of Hyde.  That said, he probably will be out there a lot for the rest of the year and that kinda sucks.   He’s still an upgrade to what was there last year, but that’s not saying a lot.

They have the Steelers, Chiefs and Browns left.  I can't see them losing to Pittsburgh. I can't see them beating Kansas City. And Cleveland I think could go either way.

Of course the wacky way this season has gone they could go 0-3 or 3-0 these last 3 weeks. 1-2 over the last 3 seems most plausible to me.

TJ Watt may end the fun of Browning, who knows.

As it sits today before the Sunday games are played my feeling is the clearest path is through the division. Win out and I think it's ours. Even a loss today and I think we win it. I just don't see Miami beating Dallas and Baltimore, and they may have problems winning today against the Jets. As much as I dislike Tyreek Hill, him being gimpy really increased our odds. On the surface, it seems the annual late season Miami Meltdown is in full swing.

The Wild Card, while possible is a pure crap shoot at this point both the amount we lost to AFC teams and the fact that Cincinnati and Denver are still in it and hold those head to head tie breakers.

I believe Cincy will fall off, WRs bailed them out on 2 should be picks today, that won’t keep happening.
