  1. Surprised they ditched the GM, that roster is good.  The coaching is awful.

too bad they did it before playing the Bills, that’s one guy I thought McD could put coach in the last 5 minutes of a game.

Belichik to LAC is so obvious and might be the perfect offseason match in years.

If it does happen the Chargers will be an instant SB contender next year.

Yep.. scary as hell.  Only good thing, it will be 2 games for KC to actually have to win instead of being given.  Hopefully the story line in 2027 reads something like, “KC has lost to Bellicheck 7 times in a row, going back to week 15 of 2023”.

He's 30 years old and on the tail end of his career.  He's definitely slowed down and anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves. Because of his contract the bills are stuck with him for at least one more year . 2025 is going to look a lot different with no Gabe, diggs, Miller , or knox. Tons of cap space will be opened up. The bills could be a juggernaut in 2025 if beane plays his cards right.

I’d eat the turd sandwich for 2024 and cut the fat, clear the old boys and start a new.  The only remaining questionable contracts would be Diggs and Knox if it were my show.   Won’t happen, but it’s time to move on from Miller, Morse, Hyde, Poyer, White, Gabe, unfortunately it will mean no room for AJE or Floyd, wouldn’t be shocked if we can’t bring Jones back either, but something has to give. There is entirely too much money wasted and you are stuck working around it, time to rip the bandaid.

I don't know if he's done, but they need to toss those WR Screens to him out of the playbook.  Diggs is an elite route runner.  He's not a speed guy.  Stop wasting him and downs on those stupid play calls.

Those need to go to Shakir and we need to start using that guy more, he could be our “Debo-Light”.

They are trying to prepare and see what it will be like when they get the European teams & the Mexican, and South American teams just how much they can saturate the American public with football when they get up to like 40 teams .

More is always better so push it as much as possible right to the limit Roger ...

Product is already diluted, any more and it’ll be the NBA.  Seems to be what they want though.

I'd love the idea if both of the games were good; or maybe even if just one of them was good.

Although I do think they should offset the kickoffs by about 20min so you could fully enjoy the end of both.

Yeah, I’d say they need to be offset by at least an hour.  This week has not been the scheduler’s finest job.

You’re going to change your mind when the Titans give Miami all they can handle.

Wouldn’t be shocked if the Titans win, honestly.  They have the right type of team to give Miami trouble.

If the Bills win out then they have a realistic shot at winning the division (fish would need to lose to Dallas and Balt, and they struggle mightily against good teams).  If they lose one game they probably miss completely.  Crazy.

I said it early on this year and got chastised for it, but this team could easily miss the playoffs and a large part would be the losses down the stretch.  Here we are in the beginning of the tough stretch, sitting 1-1 and because of horrid play early, they can’t lose anymore.   The McHandicap effect has lost a few games this year, I can’t help but believe it will lose us more.   Had it not been for Toney being a complete bone head last night, this season is over already.

Gotta go win ‘em all and be ready to keep rolling in the playoffs…. Or hope the boys did well on Black Friday, cause they are going to need a nice TV to watch the playoffs on.

The NFC is super top heavy while the AFC is deep and beating up on each other.

Real talk, the AFC has had to pay all the QBs, weakening their rosters and they are all no where near as good as they were.  Or they are playing a back-up QB, or both.  The AFC is not deep, it’s weak.

The NFC has three outstanding teams.

That first pass was a short screen pass right in the hands of Diggs. He just dropped it. Blame him, if anyone. He catches a short screen pass and we get to the 2 minute warning. After a while some of you HAVE to realize players are making mistakes. It’s so lazy to keep blaming coaches and give players a pass.

As a coach, it’s your job to put the players in the best position to succeed, by throwing the ball, you know, any thing that doesn’t go right, you out the team in a hole by not getting to the 2 minute warning.  If you are going to go for a pass there, it needs to be to take advantage of the Chiefs having everyone in the middle of the field, punish them and go for the end zone.  Going for an extended handoff is not smart.  That’s on Brady.  At very least they should have run the ball outside with Cook and hope for something to happen, let it get to 2 mins OR force KC to waste a time out.  They accomplished none of it and THEN ran two more passing plays, unit less than 20 seconds of clock, giving KC the ball back with entirely too much time.  This was poor game management and if you can’t see it, there’s really no hope for you.

Just looking at the offensive and defensive numbers across the board, the Cowboys are effing good. This is a tougher game than KC in certain respects. At least it's at home: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/dal/2023.htm.

It’s a tougher game than KC in ALL respects.  The Cowboys are better on every front minus Mahomes, but Dak is playing just as well as Mahomes right now and has 4x the weapons. If the SB Champion doesn’t come from the NFC this year, something went really weird bc there’s nobody in the AFC on par with the Cowboys, Eagles or 9ers.   As stupid as it sounds, the best chance for the AFC is probably Baltimore because their D is really good and they can run the ball enough to control the clock, if Jackson can find a way to not choke, they could be the team in the AFC.  Besides them?? The Bills have every bit as good of chance to win as any other team in the AFC and probably will miss the playoffs completely to multiple back up QBs, it’s a bizarre year.

If he's got a 10-15mph tailwind, he probably could punch it through from 70 with a good hit. Did you see how far up the posts that 60 yarder was last night....with zero wind? Guy's got a cannon leg, for sure.

Umm yeah, that ball was good from 70 or close to it.  If he gets a chance I think he can break the all time record with distance to spare.

You were watching a different offense then I was my friend.  Diggs is running half speed most of the time, and isn't breaking any tackles.  He also isn't getting any separation from the guys who are covering him.  You can not tell me he has been dominant in the slightest the second half of the season.  And to be honest, he doesn't have to even dominate.  Just get open some and make 3 or 4 big catches per game.  And show some fire!!

He looks like a guy going through the motions and they look like slow motions.  I don’t know what else to say on the subject.  Either he’s slowed down a lot or he’s just not into it this year.   We are used to seeing him go at it 110% and this does not look like the same guy.

Davis will be a free agent.  He brings nothing.  We won’t be resigning him. We need two big time new receivers next year.  Diggs looks shot.  But his contract makes it prohibitive to cut or trade him.  The same w Von.  Ugh.

Diggs looks cooked, he’s at that age where he really could be, or it’s just a product of the coverage/scheme.  Hard to tell.   The “easy” drops he keeps making are infuriating for sure.

Again, you are pointing out someone who has only one year of experience and appears to have had an injury for most of the season.

You're expecting instant gratification from players, and that doesn't happen all the time.

No, I’m saying not all guys are going to make it.  Just because you draft someone to replace another player, does not mean you have your future player on the roster right now.  Especially when it comes to replacing a super star.

Would you prefer I point to Cody Ford who was taken a round higher than Williams as a point that not everyone makes it?

I do think there are semantics at work here.  There are “charges” a person is accused of and can be arrested for.  But there is also a formal filing of charges where the prosecutor has various timeframes in which to file the charges.

How this applies in Texas is explained clearly in the first two pages in this link. I think the confusion is Von has been accused of “charges” and been arrested on that basis.  However, I have not seen confirmation that the prosecutor has formally filed charges and that Von has been arraigned to make his plea in response to the charges “filed”.

The lack of charges being filed seems to be what the NFL and Bills are waiting for in terms of any disciplinary action.

Without those formal charges, there’s not much to do, they’ll end up in court with the Players Union if they do.
