I agree about Reggie, he may need a little time to adjust, and may never actually have a clear position on an offense, but the sheer impact he will make on the game will be like Vick, and LT. I see some RB, WR, and ST's in his future, as whoever is lucky enough to get him will utilize all his talents. A player like Bush doesn't come around often, of course you take him if he falls, but we will probably be in a position to nab a top DT or OT, so I don't see us trading up. That said even with the immense need for lineman I couldn't get upset about getting to watch Bush play for my favorite team.

I don't know what the point of that comment was, but I haven't seen game altering play calling from MM this year. He's been below average, but he hasn't given a game away like this. Some of our games have looked like we just didn't have the talent, this one was ALL coaching.

The Bills came firing out of the gate and built a 21-0 lead, but from then on the strategy that was working was aborted. We turned into a Marty ball team, settling each drive for just not turning it over. Unfortunately for us when you play ultra conservative any possessions that result in points usually go threw the red zone, and the red zone is the place we struggle most. We built our lead and scored almost all our recent TD's on long TD's. Mularkey took that approach out, and as it turns out we turned it over twice in the Red Zone, when a FG would have sealed it. What makes it even worse is he took this approach while knowing our defense averages giving up 29 points per road game this year. Horrible coaching today

I got a kick out of the Gale Sayers thing, after watching the Fresno St game I said the same thing on here. Bush will be an excellent NFL player, my question is can he stay healthy? A guy that explosive is one knee injury away from losing most his game. Sayers only played 68 games because of two serious knee injurys, despite that he still made the hall. So even if Bush does have a short NFL career he will make a huge impact on whoever gets him.

I'm really excited to watch a USC/TEXAS national title game. I don't think this years USC team is one of the all time greats, but offensively they might just be the best ever. This is a team that might have two thousand yard receivers, and two thousand yard RB's, and a guy at QB who's already got one Heisman. You just can't stop them for any extended period of time, and if Texas tries to win a shootout they'll be playing into USC's strength. If Texas follows the ND blue print they have the players to keep up with USC, I just don't see them matching up well. As Blue Fire will attest I hated on Texas pretty bad earlier in the year, IMO the Big 12 is just a joke this season. That said you don't dominate like they have without being a very good team. Vince Young is a big part of that, but he is a still a player that will turn the ball over at times, and while USC isn't the best defensively they do force a lot of turnovers. Last year USC also looked beatable at times, that’s what happens when you have a bull’s eye on your chest for 3 straight years. Still after more then one close call the end result was a dominating performance in the NC game against Oklahoma. Who's to say USC doesn't do the same thing again? Regardless it should make for great entertainment, but first things first, USC needs to take care of its cross town rival.

It has to be MaGee, besides being a day two starter he is one of the younger more dynamic players in the NFL, and plays at a premium position. After watching return men on the ticket for two years I have no doubt he is the best kick return man in football. Right now he still gets beat in coverage but he makes up for it by being a ball hawk. Down the road if he can sure up his coverage he could become an elite NFL player

Fumbles aside I still don't see Henry having 1st round value at any point in his career. Not when you consider the type of RB's that have gotten first round picks in years past.

I should have said draft pick, at least that was more of the argument I was making. I’ll change the title up top. We did steel it from ATL, but I just don't see that as a justification for saying Willis was a steal. The pick was, but not the player. Willis is basically a player we drafted with major injury concerns that now has value around when we drafted him, no more, no less. Johnson runs behind an outstanding line, so that is a big advantage he has over Willis, but I still think Johnson has shown more breakaway speed, and versatility then Willis, and was also healthy at the time of the draft.

When people talk about the best draft move TD has made as GM most people wouldn't hesitate to say Willis MaGahee, and why not? I said the same in some of my posts until the other day I started to think about it a little more. When you look at the value of the RB position is Willis performing like that much of a steal for when we drafted him and the injury concerns? Some things to consider about the best pick of the TD era -Travis Henry posted better averages, and overall numbers in 2002 and 2003 then Willis did in 2003, 2004, and 2005 combined. Of course Willis didn’t play in 2003, but we did select him knowing that our first round pick would not play his first year. Even by just counting 2004 and 2005 Henry still beats MaGahee’s averages, which don't factor in carries. He also ran behind an equally bad offensive line. Henry/Willis Seeing how those two backs compare fairly evenly did Travis ever have the same 1st round value at any point in his career? - A healthy Larry Johnson was picked up 4 spots after Willis MaGahee - MaGahee will most likely be seeking a more lucrative deal soon. He says he's the best back in the league, last year Alexander and Edge had 2nd round trade value. Would you rather pay the money to Willis at the cost of a first rounder, or Edge/Alexander and a 2nd? Willis is a good running back; I just don't think we should call him the best pick in TD history. RB's just don't have much value, and he came with a year off and no guarantee that he would ever recover. Now he says he's close to 100% but does he appear like he has anymore value then the 23rd pick in the NFL draft? That day will only come if he regains his speed, in the mean time lets hope he doesn’t ask for more money.

We all have the stories of doing stupid crap as kids, but I'm not talking about misbehaving stories, I'm talking about stupid things you did because you just didn’t know any better. My top 3 stories all happened at a very early age, and all show how little I knew about the 3rd law of physics. 1. Threw pebbles into moving truck beds. That’s right, I had no I could damage a truck if I threw rocks at its truck bed. Result: The perfect shot bounced off the bed and cracked the guy’s rear window. 2. Shined a flashlight at drivers as they pulled around my subdivision. Again for some reason I don't think it effects the drivers or that the drivers even know I'm doing it. Result: Nobody hurt, thank god 3. I play underhand baseball (with a hardball) in a my backyard, hitting the ball into a field ahead. The house is behind me, I fouled one threw the glass door. Result: New glass door, nobody hurt, thank god.

I'm not really sure, I know he hasn't had a show since 1996, but still has a huge following that’s trying to get him to tour again. That’s why I think it would be perfect for him to come back Super Bowl Sunday in Motown. If he ever does tour again in Michigan I can't imagine how much the tickets will go for, but I know I'll try like hell to get one.

We suck this year but I'm still excited about next year’s possibilities. The problems of this team have been well documented, and with the heat on TD I doubt this is another off-season of bargain basement FA's. At the least I expect us to address our problem areas aggressively threw FA and the draft, and while that might not bring an immediate fix at those spots some improved play from our younger guys will really help us look better. It's been awhile since this team has done anything but it's still the NFL, and cellar dwellers can turn it around quickly with the right moves. The question is can TD make them?

Carolina's run blocking has been atrocious this year, but Wahle has been solid and was the LG we should have picked up last year. Anybody know if TD even brought him in for a look?

I wanted to hear cincys thoughts as well. I've only caught a few Bengals games, but have seen enough to know they have a pretty awful run defense, not Buffalo bad, but bad by NFL standards. Who knows how much of a role Thornton plays in all of that, but it can’t be the greatest sign if they want him to restructure after signing not to long ago.

So by taking that figure into account instead of the 80,020 ESPN has us down for, The Bills average filling 97.2% of the stadium for home games. I was under the impression we’ve sold out all the home games this year, so if that’s the case perhaps these numbers reflect actual attendance figures, and not just tickets purchased.
