  1. -Evans is turning into one of the most prolific rookie wide outs the Bills have had in recent memory. -Willis is showing how bright his future looks on a weekly basis, that future only gets better once he is 100% on that knee. -JP is a unknown but if he ends up becoming a player then this trio would be downright scary for at least half a decade.
  2. How he snagged that is beyond me, definitely one of the best plays this year. TKO said he looked like a hard boiled egg rolling down the field LOL.
  3. I agree, why not give Gramatica a chance? The guy has a howitzer for a leg and has proved clutch and reliable all the way up to this year. Kickers don't just fall off the map that quick unless its a mental block, maybe the change of scenery helps him overcome that. At the very least we will get a guy that can kickoff to the end zone and the same kind of production we have got from Lindell.
  4. I really believe this to, to me the most difficult part of the equation is taking care of our end. Every year you see a couple of teams that look like a lock for the wild card in week 9-10. Then they start to lose, the teams that looked out of it catch up and usually one of those hot teams sneak in. Finish 10-6 and we make it....Like you the Cinci game also worries me, lets hope the Patriots crush their spirit next week in Foxboro.
  5. It doesn't matter how it goes down Dax, point is if they lose to New England and Finish 10-6 we beat them out. So they can have one more game just not the New England one.
  6. Jets don't have to lose out http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=11683
  7. When Jonas went out a play they had Smith in at LT, I was freaking out. When either big Mike or Jonas go down and Marcus comes in I dont give it a second thought, Price is a huge asset.
  8. More good news Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.) 1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the three Wild-Card participants. Like I said, if the Jets finish 10-6 we 100% guaranteed go ahead of them if we finish with the same record and they lose to the Patriots.
  9. TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken. 1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker. 2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.
  10. Just go to secondary apparel stores online and you should have no problem finding one. By secondary I mean not BB.com, rumor has it BB.com sold out.
  11. Martin Gramatica, no way he naturally looks like that
  12. Willis has started 6 out of 11 games this season. If you took the averages of those 6 games and figured out how those stats would apply to a 16 game schedule it would look like this. Att 413.3 Game 25.8 Yds 1594.6 Game 99.6 TD 18.6 Game 1.16 Avg 3.86 Game 3.86 REC 32 Game 2 Yds 309.3 Game 19.3 TD 0 Game 0 Avg 9.6 Game 9.6 Willis says he's in the mid nineties in terms of his comeback. If thats the case, and given these possible stats, he would have basically had the best year of a Bills back since Thurman. I see plenty of things with Willis, it pretty much amounts to a huge amount of intangibles that most backs lack and some rare skills that allow him to be a great player even though he is not 100%. What is scary is if you watched him play at the U. I had the college football package back then and Willis then is not Willis now. Willis played much more aggressively in college, in a survival of the fittest type way Willis has changed his game from a hit the hole power/speed back to a patience/power back. If you watched him play in college you understand what he means about being 95%. The guy could flat out fly back then, it was all power and speed. In the long run his injury might have been a blessing in disguise. Basically it forced him to develop his secondary running skills in order to be effective. If he ever regains his sub 4.4 speed and combines it with his new found patience he will be a very scary player. If he can remain healthy the sky is the limit for this kid.

  14. My vote goes to TD for comeback player of the year . But seriously, how many of these guys can he keep hitting on. Shelton, MaGee, Evans, Willis, Kelsey, Fast Freddy, and Baker. Many more if you wanted to get down to it. I used to hate on TD from time to time but his decisions seem to really be paying some dividends now.
  15. I agree and have said the same thing to many of my friends. I just want to get to the Pittsburgh game with something to play for. Half the board has said Pittsburgh will likely not be playing for anything and thats why we have a chance. It doesn't matter what Pittsburgh is playing for, I don't care who it is, if the Bills had one game to reach the playoffs in Buffalo I think they could beat anybody. The momentum this team would have going into that game would be unmeasurable. The weather, the fans, no team in the NFL would beat us on that day. We have to crawl to walk and walk to run, but if we get to 9-6, and the chips fall right, we make the playoffs.
  16. I think Holmes is done this season. I would be willing to bet if we finish 10-6 we make the playoffs. If Vegas set the lines it would probably be even money we make it at 10-6. The unthinkable is very possible as long as we take care of our end.
  17. Their has been a lot of misinformation spreading around about a possible Bills/Jets playoff tie breaker. This post is meant to set the record straight about how the tie breaker works within the division. First of all throw out conference record because within the division it is the 4th procedure used to determine who wins. Here are the top four followed by how this applies to the Jets and Bills. 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. 4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 1. We split the series so move onto #2 2. If the Jets beat the Patriots, or we lose to Miami, the Jets win. If we beat Miami and the Jets lose to New England we tie. Since that is the most likely scenario lets move onto #3. 3. All this is assuming we run the table and the Jets lose to New England, the reason I am assuming this is because in order to make the playoffs we need to run the table. Secondly in order to advance to tie breaker #3 the Jets need to lose to New England. If this happens and the Jets finish 10-6 they can't win tiebreaker #3 over us under any conditions. It's mathematically impossible and heres why. The Jets are 8-3 with 5 games to play, in order to even tie us in the common game tie breaker they would need wins against Pitt, Seattle, and St Louis. Well if they win those three games they will be 11-5 giving them the better record and the nod over us. To sum up this colostomy bag if the Jets lose to New England and finish 10-6 we will win a tie breaker if we finish with the same record.
  18. Just about any drug can be used in a way that won't cause guaranteed health problems. Take the two most negatively looked at drugs in our culture, heroin or cocaine. People theoretically could use these drugs a couple of times a year with limited risk. Problem is they are extremely addictive both mentally and physically and hardly anybody can use them without being excessive. While steroids don't hold as much physically addictive properties as cocaine or heroin I'm pretty confident the mental addiction more then makes up for it. Think about being able to accomplish unparalleled fame while your body takes you to places you never thought it could. Seeing your once normal self transform into a athletic marvel, making muscle gains that you could never approach before etc. How easy would it be to just give all that up? Then addiction sets in, depression, finally health problems. If it was so easy for people to control drugs then drugs would not be such an issue. The problem is drugs control people whether they are performance enhancers or just a simple escape from reality.
  19. I don't think they are lying to themselves Steve. Some people want to accomplish things knowing that it was them that accomplished it and not a testosterone boost. I was a pretty talented football player a few years back, probably more talented in the gym then anything else. Steroids were around then just like they are now, did I think about it? Yes I did. But I also had enough common sense to realize how destructive they could be. If I knew then that steroids could have propelled me into the professional arena I still would have passed. What was so rewarding to myself at the time was making the weight lifting gains on my own. I killed myself, worked harder then everybody else, and basically turned myself into a nutritional encyclopedia. Sure my natural ability's would have peeked out sooner or later but thats normal. I was not destined to be a professional athlete and thats fine, only a few of the most gifted athletes in this world can make that claim. But had I taken steroids what I accomplished then would have always been tainted in my eyes. Since I did not take steroids I can always look back at that time and be proud of what I did. I'm sure many clean athletes have a similar view as mine. The ones who doped up will have to live with the fact that no matter how hard they worked they cheated to get their. Sure they can ease that guilt as they finger threw their millions, but pride and character are one of the few things money can't buy.
