  1. Bills take Haloti Ngata and all is right in the world
  2. Calling his shot from 18
  3. My good friend never says anything to me about our picks, but texted me right after our pick and was like you guys nailed it. He's an MSU grad that loves the Spartans. Said MSU basically rode him out of town. That he wanted to play basketball but the football regime wasn't supportive of it. You can see below he was on the Spartan basketball team. One of the elite programs in college basketball. I say this from place of coordination and athleticism. If you have longer legs you can often struggle with agility, acceleration, quick twitch. Many even just higher levels of hand eye and general coordination. You just don't see these concerns with Coleman. He is a fluid athlete. His top end speed might not be elite but his body control, hand eye coordination, and even agility are elite for a guy who is 6'4. Tee Higgins is a comp in some regards but he’s more athletic than Higgins. https://msuspartans.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/keon-coleman/11962
  4. Look at the 2 - 230 minute mark. That is not normal for a guy that is 6"4. It's abnormal athletic ability to have that body control and start and stop at that size.
  5. People need to explore the relationship they have with speed. Gabe was our home run hitter with 4.54. Diggs was highly effective with deeper routes early in his time here. Most people aren't flying by DB's at the NFL level. What is the playing speed? Coleman has elite physical skills. Size and vertical. He has playing speed. He's not a guy that is all legs when he runs. He has very nice agility in and out of his breaks. Nacua ran a 4.57, he's far more athletic than Nacua. The NFL isn't only about speed. Josh has never had a true contested catch monster like this. It's going to be a blast watching those two in the red zone.
  6. It would be a disadvantage to have more weight on your helmet. Players already know. I doubt we see it form many.
  7. This will take all of one game and this forum will be drooling. We haven't had a WR like Coleman before. He's an elite athlete. Could have started for MSU basketball. Physical as all hell and actually quick for a strider. Elite vertical, hands. Flashed in every FSU game you watch. He stands out. We are lucky, couldn't be more excited. My closest friend, also a MSU grad said he was better than Plaxico and I believe it. Again, just watch a few FSU games. He always does something ridiculous.
  8. He was a great pick. He’s the only guy I wanted. He’s a former Spartan and I’m from Michigan.
  9. Good to see you came around and I didn’t watch one tape of him at the time. Apparently you did and also felt strong enough to have an opinion 😂
  10. When did you come around to him? I remember exchanging posts with you about him in January.
  11. Getting closer to Marshawn Kneeland territory
  12. I would call this ballsy, but it's probably better to call it stupid. Unless you know who they want and you think they will bust (which is a risky gamble) I don't know how you allow them to get who they want.
  13. Really ballsy to do this. You almost need to win two picks now because after Mahomes if this pick hits it could haunt Beane
  14. This draft just feels weird. I keep thinking he is about to talk.
  15. It's nice having a really wealthy owner
  16. Needs to be longer and more detailed for me to consider reading it
  17. I thought Williams profiled as close to Allen as anybody I have seen so far. I don’t see him being able to get to Josh’s level, but his ability to create outside of the script. His improvisation and playmaking will be rivaled by few. How can he perform within the confines of the play? I question that. He will be a guy that could have success early only to hit a funk once coordinators take away the basic things he wants to do.
  18. Ya, I liked Coleman from the jump. Polk as we well and Legette is also coming on in my mind. Not a big fan of Worthy though. Hollywood Brown seems to be his comp. Brown isn't a bad player but I'm hopeful we can get more out of this pick especially if we trade up.
  19. He's nuts. His legs almost look like they're going so fast he loses control of his body at times. MHJ is elite, but Nabers is also a potential first year pro bowler. The separation tells you all you need to know. On his deep routes he's alone and it's not just speed. His route running tricks the DB in most cases and he's gone the second that happens.
  20. I was just curious what you would do is all. He's growing on me. I don't like even a mild reach at WR if we have the ability to add additional picks in round 2 and 3 trading back.
  21. What would you want to see in that situation?
  22. I never said the Bills drafted Groot and AJ on "Just arms". That notion is ridiculous. Arm lengths is one of the more coveted traits in pass rushers. Some teams trust analytics in this regard more than others. They clearly liked Groot and AJ. They both also happened to be two of the longest edge players in the drafts they were chosen. Kneeland also happens to have the same stand out length Groot and AJ had and he visited with the Bills. I don't even know what we are debating here. The hypothetical possibility of the Bills making this selection when neither of us has a clue? It's not like he's my horse in the race. If you don't think a chance exists the Bills pick him..... ok? I hope you're right.
