    Cooper isn't a burner anymore, but he has been very productive downfield the last few seasons. If teams don't respect his ability to get downfield they will be in for a rude awakening.

    I have been shredding Beane for several months now but this was a big move and certainly gives some reasons for optimism.

    Nor does being under .500 in games decided by 7 points or multiple year defensive implosions. If you want to believe the past events happened in a vacuum and are not symptoms of a bigger problem, that's up to you. I would bet everything I have that isn't the case.
