  1. Besides execution, I put those loses on Daboll His inability to make in game changes to his method of attack and distrust of Allen to be able to put the team on his shoulders was a major reason for those failures. Hopefully our new OC doesn’t suffer from those issues.
  2. Good post, I see where your coming from and think you are correct.
  3. The easy path was to just release him. The hard path would have been to stand up to the cancel culture and wait for this to be settled in a court of law, not the court of public opinion. How fast would Bean released Josh if the accusations were pointed at him? How many here would be singing a different tune if it was? It should not be any different for the punter than from the qb. Everyone should be considered innocent until proven guilty. There has to be be a better way to deal with these situations.
  4. There is a big difference between playing against ones vs two’s. Baker not so good under pressure. We’ll see how he does this year…
  5. Jeez just brutal commentary these guys having an organism over Baker beating 2nd and third string players… dont know why but it’s extremely annoying
  6. If true it’s a despicable act and anyone who turns their head the other way because they value a player more than a punter is pretty low…
  7. How a about defensive end? Quarterback? It’s either not worth it for everyone or no one….
  8. Marves best attribute was his ability to mold all the egos into a cohesive unit. The quality of our players on that team would have made many coaches very successful. There was nothing special for what he did with that group. One could say he underachieved for the personnel he had. Yes that seems strange with the super bowl run they had. A more talented coach could have should have won two of those games. I’ll add Ted Marchibroda was a large part of that groups success…
  9. You are quite simply wrong, stat watching doesn’t tell the story. He had that many yards because he averaged around 10 yards a carry. The offense had trouble throwing the ball. They only used 2 defensive lineman. Look at how many carries Thurman had? Ridiculously few for what he was averaging, it’s why we didn’t score more points and win that game. If we kept running they would have had to change the defenses, it would have altered the outcome.
  10. We lost to the Giants in the first super bowl because he couldn’t control Jim Kelly's ego and run the ball. Look at Thurman Thomases ypc and asked why he wasn’t used more to force the Giants out of their defense? I for one will never forgive him for that…
  11. They have got away with a lot of calls especially on offense.
  12. If Dorsey is smarter about how he runs the offense, if he’s less stubborn than Daboll was about adjusting when being stopped. If this running game continues to improve as it has since the second half of last year, This is going to be a very scary offense. I take a lot of heat for not being impressed with what Daboll accomplished, to me for all the good that happened, he just couldn’t adjust like in the Steelers game, the first New England game, the Jacksonville game. At times he didn’t seem to trust Josh to run the offense like in the wind game. Lots of talk here to say I for one am very happy Daboll is gone and we are moving in a new direction.
  13. Singletary looking good are these all backups for Denver?
