I am very impressed with the way that
millbank replied to grammer_police's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you his first steps have been most positive. He nothing but polite and well spoken in his initial interviews. From Chris Browns log : coach Dick Jauron was asked if he expected Terrell Owens to be in attendance for all the offseason workouts (OTAs, minicamps). With those camps not being mandatory, except for the final minicamp in mid-June, Jauron understandably, did not want to make declarations on Owens plans. “ Terrell in the past has not been involved in all of those things,” said Jauron. ”My hope is that he’s here. He knows how important it is for us, particularly in his first year with us, and the relationship with the whole football team for any of our guys. We’re hoping that he’s here.” Though he’s probably not going to be at all the voluntary camps, you don’t have to worry about the guy being in top physical shape. Will be interesting to see how much he does participate. It would speak volumes if he is there with the rest of guys... -

Terrell Owens to be on Toronto Radio today
millbank replied to millbank's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
agree with you regarding hosts questions.... TO just as in his interview with Chris Brown came across as decent straightforward person. Did not have a attitude in spit of hosts asking questions to provoke him, he did not take the bait. When asked why Buffalo? He simply responded "Why Not Buffalo". Hosts looking for controversial, he was straightforward and polite. Good for him.... -
Terrell Owens to be on Toronto Radio today

Thats my thought, its redundant to debate of import of Toronto market , point is he need stick up for Buffalo , local fans are not going to take kindly to him or any player not doing so. Buffalo has its short comings , but it is home -

Terrell Owens to be on Toronto Radio today

Its what i wondered about. Is he doing the local media rounds today? It makes sense he being a Bill help promote team in the entire area, and to some extent personally capitalize on the obvious name association with Toronto. But he does need show due respect for Buffalo. Hopefully this does not become a issue as its great to have some sense of hope, fun and entertainment back again. It would be frustrating to see it go bad quick... -
Toronto radio station the The Fan590 are advertising that new Bill, Terrell Owens will be on former Purple Eagle coaches Jack Armstrong program "The Game Plan" after 2:00pm. How Terrell handles. his relationship with Toronto, will be interesting. If there is one place Buffalo folks love to hate its Toronto. Willis Magahee's relationship with fans quickly went downhill when he made his Toronto remarks, I suspect if TO shows to much affection for Toronto, folks in Buffalo are not going to take to kindly to it.

I think the TO signing translates into fans being excited and interested again and hopefully his team mates. Far to much unknown at present to say outright they a playoff team or even contender. Trent will need to show improvement, he not not become spectacular , but he does need have good fortune of staying healthy and he does need to rid himself of rookie mistakes and become not great but solid quarterback. TO , Evans, and the running backs can do the great things. They do need also to get a credible pass rush, one that is a consistent threat. At best at present the defense can be best described as average, it need be better than average for team to be playoff team. The TO signing to me makes them interesting with some hope, where previously i felt dispirited . This coming season could be a great one, or more volatile and combustible than this franchise has ever seen.

edit: oh thank goodness, it can still be heard...

I just don't care. Until a person memorizes the words and is able to sing " The Rainbow Connection " with feeling, they should never raise above rookie status....... just never....

Daylight Savings Time Begins March 8, 2:00am
millbank replied to millbank's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It is interesting how not everyone does change their clocks. In my area we have many groups of various Amish and Mennonites, one group called David Martin , this a conservative Mennonite group, always stay on standard time. I wish often they would resolve to keep either in Daylight saving mode or standard time, the change does put me out of sorts for awhile. -
TO Speaking With Chris Brown on his Signing
millbank replied to millbank's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What i seen was a calm man answer the questions asked in a polite and courteous manner, confident and controlled, with a healthy dose of good humor. Didn't see one bit of apprehension. -

Whatever can be said one thing is certain that this signing put the buzz into a rather stagnant team situation. Thank you kindly for your comment Tim...

Eventful night to say the least and the wall still stands no server crash.... Did the Bills just sign a no. two receiver or a number one? or do they now have a number one and one A. Evans has been the man, will this push him to be a better player?

Patriot Fan Sues Bills and two Security Guard Firms Following the Patriots’ 28-6 drubbing of the Bills, the Donagheys were waiting in the stadium parking lot for traffic to subside. Wearing a Patriots jacket and Red Sox [team stats] cap, Barry Donaghey walked to use a nearby port-a-potty, and Bills fans began yelling anti-Patriots slurs and throwing rocks at it while he was inside. When he emerged, several males attacked Donaghey, according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Boston. He was punched, kicked and struck by a chair in a 15- to 20-minute beating, while the “mob” grew to as many as 20. One assailant restrained Diane Donaghey, then four months pregnant with her first child, when she tried to help her husband. Good Samaritans eventually pulled Barry Donaghey from his attackers, who continued to pummel the couple’s car as they left the lot.

Modern Toilet Restaurant scroll down and the first photo is not me..... This Taipei restaurant might consider it a compliment to be called an outhouse as the Modern Toilet diner is one of chain of themed eateries appealing to largely young clientele with a toilet humor.
