  1. They may not be better, but they may not be worse. I think Curtis Samuel is actually an upgrade over Davis, who disappeared during long stretches of the season. Not to mention shakir actually outplayed Diggs the last 10 games of the season. Is it that far fetched that a rookie can’t come in and play very well? Also let’s not forget that Samuel and said rookie will add speed to the outside which we have been severely lacking. This will help Kincaid, shakir, and cook be more effective underneath. Some people on here lost their minds when Edmunds was not resigned. I knew then that he could be replaced. (Bernard was better) People need to stop being married to the “name” of a player and look at the production. Fact Bills were 6-1 without Diggs being the main focal point. This was absolutely the right call. As a matter of fact I am saying that the bills offense will be every bit as good if not better this season.
  2. Exactly where my head is at as well.
  3. 100 percent. If there was any year to double dip this would be the year. Especially seeing some of these contracts that have been handed out to the wr position. I absolutely love the idea of getting young studs that have size, speed, and the opportunity to grow with an all pro qb. While at the same time saving money that can be used to address other need areas in the future.
  4. How about option 5: two x receivers. Mitchell and Legette would look great in bills uniforms
  5. But is he though? That’s the real question
  6. Umm yeah…. There was this guy once named Andre reed
  7. And then we will hear the proverbial “beane is a wizard” “in beane we trust” and “big baller beane”.
  8. But that’s just it. To me top 5 teams are playing in championship games. I think we are more in the 5-8 range.
  9. This will most likely be his last season as a Bill. What we do in the draft will likely highlight our intentions moving forward with Diggs. If I’m the bills I would still take two wr in the first four picks.
  10. Let’s be honest here, Diggs has a history of this since his days in Minnesota. His tweets ultimately led to him being traded. I’m not saying he will be traded, or that there is some 5 alarm fire at one bills drive. But let’s not act like Diggs is the victim of salacious rumors and people having “crazy bias” against him. Diggs knows exactly what he is doing. Diggs creates the problem with his ambiguity. He does this every off season around this time to generate attention. People conveniently forget these antics in Minnesota as well. History proves past.
  11. Andre Reed says hello.
  12. You are not wrong. And then you have the self righteous piling on to proclaim how “foolish” you are to even question it. Give me a break.
  13. I don’t know. That would place Dawkins value as the 46th pick. A mid second doesn’t sound too bad to me for a plus 30 year old 12-15 best LT. especially if he wants top 8 money.
  14. That’s why I think the bills should pull a gb and draft 2 wr in the first 3 rounds if they are there, and move on from diggs next season if they r quality players.
  15. Actually no one should be awarded a damn thing.
  16. For those pounding the table that he should be on the wall of fame, Henry Jones was every bit as good if not better.
  17. You are 100 percent correct
  18. Clearly you and I have a very different interpretation of what that looks like.
  19. You do if you think he is the missing piece needed to make the Super Bowl. Especially considering you already have another 3rd round draft pick.
  20. Fair enough. I respect your opinions. And I apologize that people’s “complaints” take your enjoyment from the message board. I do appreciate your intelligent banter back and forth without personal attacks. You write very well by the way.
  21. in order of bolded: -I never implied that you were -and what exactly has he done? Win some afc east titles? Okay I guess -I would argue that most decent coaches would have similar outcomes with josh allen as their qb. -people pointing out flaws or criticism is not always necessarily ranting or raging in my humble opinion. i am also not saying you are wrong with your assessments. However I also subscribe to the mantra “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome. I have zero problems with McDermott as a leader, culture builder, teacher and scheme builder. My problem is his in game coaching decisions at critical points during the game especially in the playoffs. At times he exhibits very poor judgment and mental lapses. If you are telling me you have a franchise qb and other talented players, not to mention the qualities I gave him props for, and it still isn’t enough? That tells me a change needs to be made.
  22. “It’s business, it’s not personal”. A lot of McDermott detractors would say he is not a horrible coach. However like you so eloquently laid out with your “of mice and men” analogy, things go awry. We are now going into year 7 with 1 afc championship appearance. I’m sorry but that’s a problem. I understand many are infuriated with the ungrateful negative Nancy’s. But on the flip side many are infuriated with the good ship lolly pop “beane is a wizard” “McDermott is doing a great job crowd.”I think most can agree that the bills are not achieving at the level they should be. One group wants to be divorced from the negativity and the other wants to be divorced from complicit apologists. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I’m older so I don’t have time for excuses. I have more of a sense of urgency. When you are younger, there is a lot more time to wait.
  23. Yes it could. Losing in the divisional year after year comes to mind.
