Regular season champs. Great I guess. McDermott is not horrible or a bum. His in game coaching decisions especially in the playoffs at critical junctures vs. other well coached teams leaves a lot to be desired. I would also counter that many average head coaches would have an outstanding record with josh allen as their qb. Is McDermott the one to take us to a Super Bowl or afc championship game moving forward? I’m skeptical. I also take issue with the quote “and getting better every year”. I see the same coach with same philosophy making critical mistakes in high pressure situations during the playoffs. Wow!! 95 % polled expect Allen’s stats to be every bit as good or better. In what world does a qb who loses both of his starting wrs have better stats. I hope all of you are right. I love Kincaid and shakir. Not sure about the rest of them.

Except for John Ross. Way too early to make a proclamation one way or the other. Scouts get it wrong every bit as much as the best draftniks.

It’s definitely not a champions mentality mindset, that’s for sure. Bills fans should expect and demand more. Unfortunately that’s what 20 years of suck does. McDermott and Beane are not horrible. They are just not good enough. But then again with josh as your qb he would make many gms and coaches look not horrible. Yeah I get it beane drafted him. But at some point something needs to give here.

Sadly McDermott does just enough to inspire hope. Yet 0-6 vs division winning teams in the playoffs. I’m not really sure why anyone would expect something different. Josh allen put two back to back epic virtually flawless playoff performances and it still wasn’t enough back in 2021. This is a huge problem. So I guess the next question is at what point should the plug be pulled? Two seasons, three seasons, never? I was done at 13 seconds. I think many are just happy to be relevent and entertained.

I agree with everything you said. However I don’t want to underestimate Khalil shakir and dalton kincaid. If both continue to improve and Curtis Samuel with josh allen clicks, the wr room may not be as bleak as we think.

Here again that post was in regards to having both mcconkey and Mitchell. No one said anything about trading up in the top three.

Would have liked Ladd McConkey at 33 and a trade up for Mitchell in the mid fourties’. I am just not high on Coleman at all. 4 years and 5 100 yd games. Way too much of a bust potential in my opinion.

Yes preserving one’s job is great. The goal should be to win the damn Super Bowl. Let’s be clear when you are losing in the second round every year you are not contending for anything. A Josh allen led team should be playing in afc championship games and superbowls. I guess I was just spoiled from the bills in the 90’s. Because those Super Bowl runs were magical. They were truly in contention. This team seems farther and farther from contention with each passing year. I guess I just expect more when I have a qb arguably better than Jim Kelly and most likely making the hall of fame if he stays healthy. Such a damn waste. It’s criminal.

But give it another three years of this and more people will want beane and McDermott gone. People need to start being more objective when evaluating beane and McDermott. People forget that it was beane who got us into this rebuild phase in the first place.
