  1. Well I guess most of us can agree that they were all awesome. It was a privilege to have watched Reed, Moulds, and Diggs play. Let’s hope that Beane picks the next “great one”in the upcoming draft, so that we can all argue someday if he was the best ever.
  2. You conveniently leave out his numbers during his prime. From 95 on reed was 31. Here are the numbers prior Diggs 2 tds. 47 catches for 600 yds reed 9 tds 78 catches 1116 yds
  3. -Oh 100 percent. I have zero issue with Diggs and his style of play. I understand it. -That is where we disagree. Back then a running attack was more predominant than passing for most teams. Exception being Houston. This is a passing league now. With rules where u can’t touch wrs. A game made for offense and scoring. Much less clutching, grabbing, head hunting etc.. Reeds numbers would absolutely be much better. -outside of rice not too many. Carter/irvin maybe -and playoff football? Reed over Diggs all day.
  4. Fair enough. I should have reworded to “rarely goes over the middle and makes business decisions after catch as to avoid injury”. I am also not speaking poorly of him. Awesome wr and loved his passion. But some people need a reality check when we start throwing out terms such as best bills receiver ever. It’s like saying Mario Williams was better than Bruce smith.
  5. Any where near Andre reed? Who did it for a living? If your not able to understand that then you have not been watching football period for a very long time.
  6. imagine Diggs going over the middle? Yeah me neither. Diggs in many cases catches ball and falls down to avoid getting hit. This is fine I get it. This is how he plays. But Andre was fearless in an era where they were still allowed to take your head off. Don’t get it twisted. He was a true alpha receiver. It was Jerry rice and him. 1a. 1b. Diggs isn’t even in the top 10 today. And has certainly never been 1 a or b at any time.
  7. The guy played four seasons here and people want to anoint him the bills best receiver ever? That’s crazy talk. Over someone who is in the hall of fame? Ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong he is a great player. But to say he was better than Andre Reed is ludicrous.
  8. Those 10 people who voted for “bills best receiver ever” must have been born after the 90’s.
  9. I like Nabers the most of any wr. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes before Harrison.
  10. Well then I guess we should all be thankful that games are not won on paper.
  11. Admittedly I have not watched him. However I am totally on board for a youth movement. I am so done with older players, ridiculous contracts, oft injured, and underperforming prima donnas that get by on name recognition and not true performance. 1 year at 11 million for obj. This might explain why we early exit each year because these guys over 30 start to break down.
  12. I would absolutely hate that idea. He is not even an average wr. 1400 yds receiving with 11tds over the past 4 years combined is horrific. Any rookie especially in the first two rounds would surpass that.
  13. Not for that kind of money I wouldn’t. Add on being a total pain in the a$$.
  14. They may not be better, but they may not be worse. I think Curtis Samuel is actually an upgrade over Davis, who disappeared during long stretches of the season. Not to mention shakir actually outplayed Diggs the last 10 games of the season. Is it that far fetched that a rookie can’t come in and play very well? Also let’s not forget that Samuel and said rookie will add speed to the outside which we have been severely lacking. This will help Kincaid, shakir, and cook be more effective underneath. Some people on here lost their minds when Edmunds was not resigned. I knew then that he could be replaced. (Bernard was better) People need to stop being married to the “name” of a player and look at the production. Fact Bills were 6-1 without Diggs being the main focal point. This was absolutely the right call. As a matter of fact I am saying that the bills offense will be every bit as good if not better this season.
  15. Exactly where my head is at as well.
  16. 100 percent. If there was any year to double dip this would be the year. Especially seeing some of these contracts that have been handed out to the wr position. I absolutely love the idea of getting young studs that have size, speed, and the opportunity to grow with an all pro qb. While at the same time saving money that can be used to address other need areas in the future.
  17. How about option 5: two x receivers. Mitchell and Legette would look great in bills uniforms
  18. But is he though? That’s the real question
  19. Umm yeah…. There was this guy once named Andre reed
  20. And then we will hear the proverbial “beane is a wizard” “in beane we trust” and “big baller beane”.
  21. But that’s just it. To me top 5 teams are playing in championship games. I think we are more in the 5-8 range.
  22. This will most likely be his last season as a Bill. What we do in the draft will likely highlight our intentions moving forward with Diggs. If I’m the bills I would still take two wr in the first four picks.
  23. Let’s be honest here, Diggs has a history of this since his days in Minnesota. His tweets ultimately led to him being traded. I’m not saying he will be traded, or that there is some 5 alarm fire at one bills drive. But let’s not act like Diggs is the victim of salacious rumors and people having “crazy bias” against him. Diggs knows exactly what he is doing. Diggs creates the problem with his ambiguity. He does this every off season around this time to generate attention. People conveniently forget these antics in Minnesota as well. History proves past.
