Yea you don’t know what you’re talking about. JT didn’t save Norvells job because it was never in jeopardy. His 1st season was the covid year…..he was getting a minimum of 4 seasons to get things turned around by the University especially since we’re still paying Willie Taggert! I’m 100% sure I know way more about FSU football than you do.

Last one that had success was Harbaugh. Something else I’ve noticed as well…….NFL coaches don’t have much success in college either.

Jordan Travis wasn’t Norvells guy……Willie Taggert brought him in. Norvell is the one that actually resurrected JT’s career. Jordan Travis is good, but I agree the system definitely has maximized his ability.

Running out of shotgun on 3rd/4th and short makes no sense. The RB has to run 5-7 yards just to pick up 1 yard against linebackers that have moved up maybe 2 yards away from the line of scrimmage…..it makes no sense!

I’m a diehard FSU fan…….leave Norvell where he’s at. I would love to see this team draft K. Coleman tho. Norvell has a little Ken Dorsey in him……he also loves to run out of the shotgun on 3rd and short.

It’s been the same story with the defense for awhile now. People will point to the injuries and how well they’ve played despite the injuries, but they always and I mean always give up a pivotal scoring drive when we clearly need a stop. That defensive line is the healthiest unit and they should be good enough to get pivotal stops which they never do. We watched Zack Wilson, Tyrod Taylor, Mac Jones, Baker Mayfield and the ghost of Russel Wilson all drive the ball down the field to either win the game or put their team in position to win the game!

Massive? It led to a FG and our offense didn’t move the football until we started feeding him the rock!

It seems to me going back to last year our offense has been figured out. Any and every defense we play against seems to give us fits. We went from an offense that rarely punts and consistently scores 28+ points to an offense that always punts and struggles to put 20+ points.

The drought teams looked just as bad if not worse than the current team. Outside of 5-6 games a year and be drought teams were really bad!

For a team that has a good amount of resources into the “core” special teams, we’ve been pretty bad in coverage all season.
