  1. Comparison between Benjamin and Coleman is not valid other than they’re both tall and went to FSU. Benjamin was overweight and not an elite athlete. And if I get current Zack Moss in the 4th round that’s bad? Did you see Zac Moss outperform Jonathan Taylor last year in his own team, or no?
  2. Yeah we’re really going to miss Gabe Davis putting up 0’s in the THREE different games last year. Sign me up for some of that. Diggs, while the team was going 6-1 and taking down another division crown- 315 yards, 34 catches, 1 TD. How on earth will they replace that kind of elite production from their true number one receiver. I lived through Todd Collins, Rob Johnson, AVP, Losman, Edwards, Holcomb, etc, I will continue puckering up and then some so long as I never have to go back to that era of football… These guys know how to win, they’ve proven that. Go Bills!
  3. As I learned a couple days ago, there is a record number of seniors and fewer underclass men in this years draft bc of the covid eligibility stuff combined with underclass men staying in due to NIL deals paying more than late round pick contracts… 🤷‍♂️
  4. Samuel was middling bc he was injured and then stuck with Sam Howell and Jacoby Brisset. He’s a playmaker and an asset in this offense. Cook and Kincaid are nobody’s? Brady’s scheme and ball control style of offense wasn’t a difference maker despite going 6-1 down the stretch? K… Nevermind Taylor Kelce is almost 50. If they had Bernard or Milano, or any LB who wasn’t the corpse of AJ Klein, the Chiefs are not repeat Champions. The defense didn’t force a punt. The defense always falls short in the post season. Sans the Bengals game, Josh always does his thing every playoff game, even when Stefon Diggs was nowhere to be found, ever… So the casual fan’s take away, after Josh was again almost perfect in the post season despite Diggs being non existent, and the defense pooping the bed, again, was this team needs an elite receiver??? Show me the math on that one… The defense clearly needs to be an absolute unit, which is where I agree with you, Spags takes chicken ***** and makes chicken parmesan year in year out. But he’s done next to nothing to play a role in beating Josh, ever. Chiefs are also 1-3 against the Bills in the regular season in that same time frame, so let’s not act like injuries on defense didn’t completely derail this team. Hopefully getting younger and faster at safety, adding to the DL, they can force a punt or two next year in the divisional round. Just have to avoid being snake bit at the worst possible time, i.e.- ALL of the linebackers getting hurt before playing the Chiefs…
  5. What exactly is this team missing from the same squad that went on a winning streak and took the AFC East, AGAIN, and the number two seed? Stef Diggs who did literally decided to do his best John Cena impression during that same stretch? Beane has filled all the holes. He’s added WRs in Samuel and Coleman who compliment Brady’s scheme and Josh’s style of play more so than both Davis and Stefon Diggsapearing Act. I’ll assume you somehow know how to better draft and assemble a football team however that’s managed to win it’s division 4 years I’m a row and counting…
  6. LOL, not my fault if you don’t know ball bro…
  7. Yep. Samuel looked return to form Shakir trending up, clearly Beane believes in him more than a lot of the fans around here. Mack Hollins is a fine #4 Shorter is an unknown at this point, hopefully can crack the roster and make an impact. They likely add another Mack Hollins type to fill out the roster. This with Kincaid, Knox, and a strong running game, is more than enough when you look at what Mahomes just won the whole thing with.
  8. This is personally my favorite draft since getting the wrong Josh. Always a fan of trading back Coleman is exactly the type of WR Josh has needed. A guy who goes up and gets contested balls bc we all know Josh dgaf about throwing into coverage and giving his guys a chance to go make a play, now he has a perfect compliment for that. What’s not to like about Bishop? I expect him to be a starting Safety 1/4 of the way thru the season. Has all the intangibles. Free third round pick from moving down and still getting the WR Josh needs instead of John Ross 2.0- starting caliber day 1 DT in Carter 4th- an absolute beast in Ray Davis, the perfect compliment to Jimbo. 5th round so far- Potential starting C, immediate depth at the spot if nothing else, and gains a 4th in next years deeper draft class. No idea how you find room to complain about this draft between the quality of players, plus the way Beane worked the board and added picks to both this years class and next...
  9. Next year I believe should be a deeper draft class, so it’s great to see Beane now adding an extra 2nd and an extra 4th, while getting a potential starter in the 5th still somehow.
  10. 1st team all SEC at a position of absolute need, Beane is a wizard.
  11. Wouldn’t mind using one of these 5ths on Rattler. Trubisky is junk, God forbid anything happens to Josh, but in the event it does, and Rattler plays well, you could turn this 5th into a day 2, maybe even day 1, pick.
  12. He probably went on the Lance Armstrong diet, or he’s full of *****… I’m betting it’s a healthy combination of both.
  13. Keon Coleman - 6’3 213lbs 4.61 40 yd dash 10.54 Split 38in vertical 10’7 Broad Terrell Owens - 6’3 213lbs 4.63 40 yd dash 10.58 Split 30in vertical 10ft Broad The more I read up on Coleman and the way he plays the game, using his size and elite athleticism to beat defenders, it appears he and the Bills legend could indeed be cut from the same cloth. Looking at those numbers, quite literally the same exact cloth… Had no idea Keon was essentially a T.O. clone with better hops until 15 minutes ago when I looked up both of their combine numbers and then I was like “Holy Shnikees, Big Baller Beane did it again!”. Time to stock up on 🍿 🍿 🍿.
  14. I love a good polarizing pick, especially at a position where the guys generally all rate out the same but our message boarder GMs know more than the guy who hit on WRs in the 4th and 5th rounds. He blocks, they over value that, we know dis. He’s big, physical, they’ve been after that for quite a while… As for the “he runs one route” crowd, how often was he ASKED to run more than one? Im not saying the guy will be a stud, but this Mahomes-esque crying going on here is quite the sight to behold. Watch this guy go be the next T.O…
  15. Maybe for one of the 4ths, certainly not for pick 33, Beane’s not stupid.
  16. I haven’t watched enough college ball, I’m not stating this is my particular preference, just what I think Beane and Co. will do. If he’s anywhere near as versatile as the “analysts” make him out to be, knowing the way Beane covets elite athleticism + the intangibles that can’t be coached, and if there’s any truth to this assessment of Dejean - “He's a great athlete, yes, having posted a 9.85 RAS based on his pro day, but the way he reads the entire field, from the QB's eyes to the receiver's position is almost supernatural” then he’s the pick.
  17. Dejean and then trading up from the bottom of the round using a couple of those 5ths and grabbing Franklin.
  18. I think they’re going Dejean, they just value versatility, defensive backs, and elite ceiling too much to pass here. I think they trade back up from the bottom of the round and grab a WR, likely Franklin is their target in this scenario, imo.
  19. This is literally the exact opposite of everything I’ve heard leading up to this draft, but ok… besides, even if you are correct, he can package all those 5ths and move back into the 4th or 3rd. It gives him a lot of flexibility to get who they want tomorrow.
  20. Everybody freaking out that Buffalo added picks in a deep draft at positions of need meanwhile. Milano Taron Shakir Brown Dawkins Benford Bernard Gabe Cook I’m all for adding as many pick between rounds 2 and 5 as possible.
  21. If I’m Brandon Beane, I’m not moving my 2nd or 3rd rd picks, too much depth at spots of need this year. Id prefer to give up something marginal to move up and secure BTJ in the early 20s, rather than trade the farm to move up for Odunze at 9.
  22. Hopefully not too aggressive. Hard to shake the ghosts of Sammy Watkins from the memory banks, but it feels like that same situation. The draft is loaded with WR potential, and Whaley wanted to get the cream of that crop… then Davante Adams goes in the second round. Point is, in a deep class I’d rather fire 2, even 3 bullets trying to find the Davante Adams, Aj Brown, DK Metcalf, or even Justin Jefferson in the late 1st, rather than risk the farm and hope Nabers or whoever is more Jamar Chase than Sammy “Can’t Miss, Generational Talent” Watkins.
  23. Only one team can win it all, that means 31 others had unsuccessful seasons? For me, personally, it’s all about enjoying sundayS, not just hoping they get to one game at the end of the year and win that one particular Sunday, and if they don’t come out on the right side of that game, then everything was for nought? It would be a great experience and all obviously to see 17 hoist a Lombardi, but as a fan, if my team is winning more than they are losing, that’s all you can really ask for as again only one team can win it all. I’m not going to look back on all these winning seasons with any modicum of failure, I’m just going to count my blessings the Bills Mafia has one of the winningest teams in the NFL over the last five years, and keep hoping next season is the year they finally get over the hump…
