  1. Even if all the draft picks pan out, and Zach Wilson even ends up being decent, none of that matters. Because we got the best QB in the game, and there isn't a single hole on this team with depth almost everywhere. As long as Josh is in a Bills uniform and Beane is running the show, even in their best year, the Jets will top out as 10-11 win Wildcard team, at best.
  2. People pissing and moaning about the 4th have literally no clue who Dallas was taking, but, and this is just an educated guess, I’m assuming the guys getting paid millions to run teams worth billions likely have better information than schmucks on a message board and they were sure if they stayed at 25 they weren’t getting their guy, or else they wouldn’t have done it. Dallas taking up most of their draft clock says to me Beane was right and they had a bit of a discussion about where to go after that.
  3. At the end of the day, they aren't significantly better in any one area than Buffalo, while the Bills remain dominant at the most important position in the sport. I do think the Fish made some worthwhile additions in Hill, Edmonds and Mostert but those aren't going to be enough to make up for your lack of an elite QB1. Bills win the east, wouldn't be surprised to see them split with Miami this year though, as I do have them as a wildcard team, and once you're in teams have proven time and time again, anything can happen... like getting 47 dropped on you at the Ralph.
  4. All this big $$$ flying around, price on Diggs just keeps going up, hopefully Beane hasn't already been priced out of being able to retain him. They are likely going to have to work something out sooner rather than later to keep things smooth sailing into training camp, as Diggs has earned an extension as much as any of the other guys getting massive deals. Honestly not sure what I would do in Beane's shoes if it came down to a similar situation as Tyreek's. Especially if you can get that 1st rounder back and then some, then sign/trade draft other respectable WR options. Wouldn't be popular with the fan base but I don't love the idea of tying up so much guaranteed $$$ and cap space in WRs about to be 30. Diggs will be 29 in November, but he does do a great job of protecting himself on the field, and the chemistry with 17 is undeniable, so the argument can be made either way. With this franchise on what it feels like it the precipice of something special, it makes the decision that much harder. Extend him and keep that continuity with Josh, or deal him and avoid a massive contract, get a sizeable return and use those picks to get a couple WRs on cheap contracts?
  5. Beane's clearly been stalking my posts, hopefully that contract for a gig in the front office is on its way... it's probably in the spam folder, its always the spam folder.
  6. Looked very impressive for Miami at the end of last season, had some big games down the stretch.
  7. Sign Crowder, trade up to land best CB possible within reason. Leaving later rounds to address depth at LB, OL, another CB and late round WR & RB.
  8. If he has two dominant/elite level years and 1-2 at a slightly better LoRax level, I'll take it
  9. It will cost a bit more, but still holding out hope they land Cordarelle Patterson, personally my top FA choice in terms of versatility and what he'd add to the offense. Deebo Light... only room for one McKittrck on this team anyway
  10. Also crazy when considering how much further your $$$ goes in Buffalo NY vs D.C., especially on a rotational RB salary... Both are cold, and one you get to play with Josh Allen in sweet uniforms, compete for a chip in front of the best fans in the world... the other is a dumpster fire named Carson, with an arena league named team with no chance at winning a title or even making any post season noise. Unless they bumped their offer up significantly, he just made a really bad decision. RBs are a dime a dozen so whatever, terrible career move on this JAGs part however.
  11. Aging vet isn't going to break the bank and as Andrew Whitworth and others have shown, OL dont lose a step the way other positions tend to, and can generally play at a high level as long as their bodies hold up.
  12. Rather let the Chiefs or somebody else overpay and sign Jamison Crowder if you're just looking for a dependable veteran slot guy with some tread left on the tires. Jarvis isn't worth big $ that much is for certain.
  13. I'd like to see Diggs get an extension with favorable structure for this season at the very least...
  14. Maybe they are actively shopping the first round pick? I know I would be as a late first is hardly likely to be a guy that gets you "over the hump"...
  15. Bills will pummel the east, and cruise to homefield as the West beats up on itself.
  16. Sign him to a 3 year deal that you can get out after two if need be, and then trade Edmunds, draft a replacement next year to groom under Wagner. I agree Edmunds not worth the second contract and should get a 2nd or early 3rd at worst in a trade.
  17. Diggs then what, 24M per? It's gotta be significantly more as yes, Williams took a big step forward this season, it's taken him a while to get to this level and he's inconsistent. Diggs is ultra reliable in both consistency on the field and game day availability, where as Williams has been a bit injury prone.
  18. Get Cordarell Patterson instead, dude upped his game in a major way. He is basically Deboo Samuel-light, and just imagine Josh with a versatile weapon like that at his disposal. Diggs, Davis, Patterson, another value FA like Crowder, then draft pick, Hodgins, Stevenson, battle it out for remaining roster spots.
  19. He should go play baseball, he doesn't have the testicular fortitude required to be great in this league... all the talent in the world but I think the pre-draft analysis questioning his love for the game was pretty spot on.
  20. I hope he gets a good sized deal with some guaranteed $$$, although I would love to have him back on another team friendly deal. Levi has been a great and often glossed over find by Beane. UDFA who has over performed his contract every season, what more can you ask from a guy? Didn't really notice the lack of Tre's presence on the field until the Divisional round... whether or not getting to play Mac Jones a bunch, Zach Wilson, and Matt Ryan contributed to that success is up to his agent to gloss over... Body of work shows to me he is a solid #2 CB, and somebody will pay for that, putting extra stock in the fact he started on a defense that lost Tre White and still only surrendered Twelve passing TDs, in the first extended 17 game regular season.
  21. Oh I'll pine alright... I'll pine like you've never seen anybody pine before.
  22. Kinda wish they'd just see if they could hire Jordan Palmer and let him and Josh do their thing.
  23. Excited no, but I think it will be fun to watch, more so than anything involving Chiefs. Plus I've been on the Bengals all season, only futures I bet this year were McDermott coach of the year (oops) and Cincinnati to win the division at like +1800, then roughly the same odds again once they locked up the north to win the conference. I'll be placing one more sizeable wager on the Bengals to finish the job.
  24. Hardly old for a coach... only 8 years older than the guy who just lead the league in TD passes.
  25. Exactly, by this logic, Aikman was the best QB of the 90's, when in reality he wasn't top 5. Marino was arguably the best of his era and never got one, largely bc a Bills team loaded with HOF talent was standing directly in his way. As much as we all love Jim, we know Dan was the best pure passer in the game. Put Marino on the 90's Bills teams and he surely has more than one SB appearance on his resume. My point is, I don't care what Mahomes has done, what Josh IS right now, and arguably the past two seasons, is the better weapon, and the definition of a generational talent. There isn't a single thing Mahomes can do on the field that Josh can't, the same can't be said for Mahomes or any other QB when compared against 17. No other QB is capable of running the way Josh does, elusive while putting guys on their backs like King Henry, while still being able to literally make any throw on the field AND, AND, AND be able to deliver in crunch time when it matters most, unlike Patty today! Burrow better make the most of this one, Josh begins cementing his legacy as all-time great next season, putting up his first MVP season, while coasting to Homefield and leaving a path of destruction and mangled linebackers in his wake, AND winning a Super Bowl. MVP, SuperBowl, same effing season, it's happening.
