  1. He just seems stubborn out there at times, refusing to settle for what the defense is giving him. Purely speculation obviously, but you have to wonder if he’s kinda started buying into his own hype and lost a little bit of that fire and focus which helped transform him from that raw rookie prospect into a generational talent. Seems to me like he’s out there just slinging it around playing “hero ball” and deviating from the cerebral level of play we saw in the first quarter of the season. He came out looking like he had a Manning/Brady-esque command over the offense to start the season, and his decision making reflected that. Now he’s back to looking Favrian, and that’s fun and all sometimes, but it leads to finishes like we saw on Sunday…
  2. John Harbaugh? The guy who got to the Super Bowl with the original Josh Allen prototype? Yes please… McDermott has plateaued. I mean I don’t think he goes anywhere but if the bleeding doesn’t stop and this season falls severely short of expectations? I like think a fiery coach like Harbaugh, who’s shown he can get to the Super Bowl, would be an excellent pairing for 17.
  3. This game might actually just have put me off actually watching games live… I just don’t enjoy getting THAT upset over anything, and honestly after decades of heartbreak, this old routine can’t be good for the ticker. I’ll still follow, record the games and maybe watch them back when they aren’t crapping the bed, but I think the live experience isn’t for me anymore.
  4. Purely speculating, but I think he just gets stubborn bc he’s just so used to having his way with defenses. He needs to go back to the cerebral QB play he was exhibiting in the first quarter of the season, take what’s the defense is giving you. 17 definitely in a little slump, reminds me of the stinker vs the Falcons last year except they were so bad, Buffalo squeaked out the W anyway. He then went on to play the best ball of his life when it mattered most after that, so I think everything is correctable, it’s just up to him to not go into “Hero mode” and force things.
  5. If Josh doesn’t implode, Bills are 7-1… doesn’t mean OP point isn’t valid, I don’t think Davis is worth a lucrative extension, but the Bills should have won this game. That first pick was inexcusable and turned out to be the difference in the game. The other pick and sack fumble didn’t help. Gabe dropping that key third down was also a killer, and an argument could be made that a better WR makes that catch at the end of the game.
  6. The last 6 quarters have been bad for Josh… Gabe hasn’t been so hot either, his production seems to come in bursts and against inferior competition. Drops becoming an issue as well.
  7. Brandon Beane took the chick crap, (Zach Moss), added a sprinkle of garbage (late round pick), Bam!
  8. We don’t need to trade for our guy, he’s still rehabbing. My money is on OBJ being a Bill, hence why Toney went to KC, and Rams looking to add Cooks… I think it’s all but a done deal. I’m of the opinion that all of these teams are making moves because the team who is clearly the front runner to win the whole thing ranks atop the league in both offense and defense. How much room if there for realistic improvement and why mess with the chemistry this team has? I’ve seen no reason to worry about any position on this Bills team, and as long as they don’t have to play the sun again in the playoffs, I think they’re right to just stay the course if a good deal doesn’t present itself.
  9. Oh no, what are we gonna do!!!?!?!
  10. We’re standing pat, and rightfully so. Every other team is trying to get where we are right now, and while some depth at OL and Safety would be great, Beane simply won’t over pay, and I love that about him. Big Baller Beane realizes just how valuable his draft picks are, especially when you are extending almost everybody. Between this teams hit rate in the draft and the need for productive players on rookie contracts I’m more than ok with everybody else trying to catch up to our speed boat by adding an extra rower or two…
  11. I hope they never have to play another SNF game again, describing Collinsworth’s commentary as insufferable would be putting it mildly. Honest to God, I’d welcome back Adam Archuleta and Spero Dedes with open arms, rather than having to listen to this tool wax on about how great the Packers gameplan is, while bleeding the clock, down three scores late in the 3rd freaking quarter. Watching the Packers last night felt like I was watching a preseason game where they were just trying to get out of Dodge with as few injuries as possible and seemingly had no interest in actually attempting to win the game itself.
  12. Lafleur has officially RUN his team into the ground… Should make for some quality Rodgers sound bites, likely throwing the entire organization under the bus. I understand wanting to move the ball on the ground, but it’s still Aaron Rodgers under center and LaFleur treating the situation as if he’s got Zach Wilson back there…
  13. I mean our track record with Josh Allen’s IS pretty stellar, it couldn’t hurt to add another… I swear it was a glitch in the matrix, players with the same name, drafted at the same exact draft spot, in consecutive seasons?
  14. If ours is going to be Tax payer funded at all,(which is obviously it is), it should be a dome, and not even up for debate. And one that can host a Super Bowl, everything else is a giant waste of money and resources. Atleast with a domed stadium there is potential for college bowl games, maybe a final four, more major concerts and events year round. The people and businesses in the area should get every chance to see increased revenue since this is largely publicly funded, so build something that can be used comfortably 365 days a year in the north east. Anything else is a disservice to the community. Take extra tax payer money and make something truly useful for other purposes not related to the Buffalo Bills, rather than drain such a huge chunk of tax payer dollars strictly so millionaires can play games for their billionaire owner at our expense… Terry wants it outdoor, let Terry build the damn thing. I love this team, but I am so sick of the ultra wealthy lording over us.
  15. In what way is their roster better tho? Because the DVOA on defense, against far superior competition, certainly doesn’t reflect that. And at WR Diggs Davis > Brown Smith every day of the week and twice on sundays.
  16. How does every single official on the field miss that!?!?! Somebody make it make sense. About as blatant of a trip as you can get, and the guys getting paid to officiate at the highest level can’t get out of their own way, week after week. They influence the outcome of close games with their calls/non-calls. Highly suspect to say the least.
  17. Just awful play call on 3rd and 1… shotgun handoffs in short yardage situations rarely work out well for this team.
  18. This, 1000x this. Again, McDermott reluctance to make a change until it’s stating him in the GD face- Give Shakir his friggin snaps
  19. Sorry I’m on Hulu so a bit of a lag, but how was that on Elam but no hold on Edmunds gettin turned around on the blitz?
  20. McKenzie’s snaps should go to Shakir the rest of the game… dude isn’t good enough to be a consistent starter in the slot. also, where the hell is Knox, ever? Zero TE involvement in the pass game after that big extension.
  21. Trade for DJ Moore once Panthers go full tank. Idk the cap situation but he’s better than Beckham and a better fit for what the offense needs.
  22. Teams get hit with injuries, Dorsey needs to put the healthy pieces he does have at his disposal in situations where they can actually be utilized. Knox and Cook have been afterthoughts thus far, while Shakir should finally get a crack at some meaningful snaps.
  23. Better chances of getting McCaffery… honestly I just want to see a lot less Moss on the field, as in never again toting the rock for the Bills. I don’t have any real issues with Singeltary, and Cook could still end up being Kamara-light (maybe Alvin finds himself on the block if the Saints continue at their current pace?) I just need McDermott to simply accept they missed on Moss. They should’ve left him on the PS and kept Blackshear on the 55, as you already know Moss is JAG even on his best day.
