  1. Yeah, but I’m willing to bet many “Eagles Fans” at the Ralph were Western NY/Upstate NY bandwagon type fans. Those kinds are always the worst.
  2. That was a great moment, and I’m not sold on McD as a championship coach. I think he’s an overly conservative coach who can lead average teams to the playoffs, but I’m not sure he’ll ever become a winner in January. The McD philosophy is about minimizing risks, and typically some boldness is required to be a champion caliber team. With that said, in no way is Chan Gailey a better coach than McD. Gailey is a lower tier head coach, who would have only been hired by the drought era Bills. McD’s coaching is vastly superior to that of 08 and 11. Chan was a mess. The myth of Fitz and Gailey is vastly overrated around here because they won a couple big games together. People forget about all the terrible losses to weak opponents.
  3. This^ Almost a carbon copy of the 2017 Bills, but with better talent and more hope for the future.
  4. John Brown and Cole Beasley are the only guys who seem to be thrown the football when Knox isn’t dropping it. That means they have good reception numbers. Brown has been really good, but is he really a game changing WR? He’s played great, and I love him as a number two, but Brown isn’t someone who’s going take a game over.
  5. This is one of those rare times I agree with everyone posting. We need better QB play, Allen becomes a bust if he doesn’t improve big time before the end of the season imo, we also need a legit number one WR, and Daboll needs to learn how to be an NFL level OC. All of those things are problems right now.
  6. You just nailed the bigger than Brown as the number one. The big issue might be Beasley as number two. Bease is a great slot guy, but placing him number two after Brown is far from ideal. Who is our number two? Because this roster has no one I’d consider a legit number two WR.
  7. A guy who can make contested catches, who can be an underneath or a deep threat. John Brown has number one stats this season, but that’s because he’s been placed in that role. Stats don’t show the kind of passes a QB can make to a guy with more versatility than Brown. Brown would be an awesome number two.
  8. I agree, they are both decent receivers. It would just be nice to move them down the depth chart one spot. Our WR corps is subpar as is, add a real number one, and I’d have a different opinion.
  9. Haven’t seen one of our receivers do that since Moulds. So, it’s been a long time.
  10. I have no clue who Allen is better than at this point, and how much it is has to do with subpar receivers.
  11. Yeah, fans love hating on the guy because he doesn’t win in the playoffs, but he’s a great offensive mind.
  12. There is one flaw with your theory. If the other team is better (which too many have been over the years) you can blame the front office for that. On a serious note, I like this team and the current regime. I just think we have a way to go.
  13. Agree with all that, except I don’t think our offense is better than last season. When Allen was on the field last year, our offense was better than it is this season.
  14. With that run defense and our sad offense, they are also all possible losses. I don’t say that to be negative, my point is that regardless of who we play, we need to get things right. Adjustments need to be made to get back to winning football. The Miami victory was not winning football either, against any team that isn’t historically terrible.
  15. Daboll has failed at every stop as an OC. I never had any reason to believe he was the guy I wanted here. He’s done little to prove otherwise. I just hope they move on from him sooner rather than later. None of us want to see Allen’s development slowed by an inept OC.
  16. This is my biggest issue. I like the McBeane regime. They took us to the playoffs, and restored direction to this franchise. McDermott was able to take a 2017 squad with very little talent to the playoffs. That says a lot about the guy as a coach. However, my concern is the fact that McDermott teams continue to suffer blow out losses at home against quality opponents. That’s not supposed to happen to decent NFL teams. McDermott and his coaching staff continue to get outschemed and outcoached against good opponents.
  17. Yeah, apparently everyone is just joking around, or no one actually read the article.
  18. I was thinking something similar. Any team that relies heavily on its defense to win games isn’t going to have a cakewalk against anyone. Quality defensive can beat anyone, but without consistent offensive scoring it’s tough to look overly impressive as a collective team against any opponent.
  19. Fair enough, I don’t care when people talk down the Bills either. I’m just saying the knock against the Bills and Vikes are pretty much the same. Neither team has beat anyone decent, and both lost their greatest tests. I think the Bills can beat anyone, but I also think they can lose to anyone, so a Bills vs Vikes game would be a close call.
  20. Are we saying this in the same way that people say the Bills are overrated, but we get all hurt when they say it ? Idk, the Vikes are 5-2, and a possible playoff team. I don’t see them being overrated.
  21. Skins look pretty weak against the run though. Hopefully, Daboll doesn’t get all pass happy as usual. We’ll be fine if we use the run to set up the pass against this team.
  22. I know Snyder is a joke. I’m just saying that rumor had it he wanted Haskins. I doubt that he hires someone who sends Haskins packing after one season.
