  1. The rushing stats are a good point. Haskins is a drop back QB only. Maybe you are right. It's still early to know. Agreed. I'd say the same thing for Rosen too though his sample size of failure is larger.
  2. Haskins 13 games : 59.6% 2304 Yards 11 TD 10 INT Josh Allen 12 games (all in 2018): 52.8% 2074 Yds 10 TD 12 INT I'm not saying Haskins will develop. But it's a bit premature to say he is done in the NFL. Through his first 13 games he is statistically better than Allen in every category. No OTAs. No preseason (don't think that matters much - but some do). Maybe they feel Kyle Allen is their long term answer at QB. If so then why was he not the starter game 1? If not then it is silly to pull Haskins now and not let him continue to develop.
  3. No. NFL teams don't tank. As is popularly said, everything is on tape. Guys play hard all the time. They know that they can be cut at any time. If they are cut, they need to find a new job in a league with only so many spots and a rookie class coming in.
  4. There should be two bye weeks anways but definitely this year. They should have built in a week 8 pause for catchup games if needed.
  5. NFL.COM is reporting two more players testing positive not one.. No way this game is played.
  6. NFL needs to make a decision quickly. Either make Tennessee forfeit or shut the whole league down for two weeks to get things under control again.
  7. It's week 4 of their rookie season. Epenesa didn't dress week 1. Moss hasn't dressed in two weeks as has 2.8 YPC. It's a bit premature to say the Packers will get no value from those picks.
  8. Honesty I paid no attention to what you posted earlier. All of your points in this post are valid. I would disagree that the other draft picks have no value this year. Buffalo drafted Gabe Davis in 4th round when they already had a solid top 3 WR. Nobody knows who will truly help or not with the draft. It is all speculation. The national narrative after the draft was criticism of not drafting a WR. My only point is that though they didn't use the first round pick to help, they did help the team afterwards.
  9. Are you talking about Green Bay or Buffalo? As for Green Bay the criticism was that they did not get Rodgers a WR in a WR deep draft. My point is they added other players to the offense.
  10. 1. The passing game is working so well 2. Avoid injury 3. Avoid fumbles 4. As others said, it is still a threat and Daboll will use it later in the season
  11. I understand this take but this team needs to put New England away first and foremost With Cam New England probably would have beaten Chiefs. McD snd Frazier haad better study that Belichick defensive game plan and copy it
  12. Yes but to be fair the linebacker dropped a sure pick 6, a DB dropped another pick, and he fumbled on the scramble that was blown dead early (Bills recovered regardless) So no turnovers but a few bad throws Rams INT was BS Only one bad play all games vs Raiders with the terrible sack
  13. Did you watch the playoff game last year? I wouldn't trade fir him nor do I think Houston will trade him. But as a one year rental he probably could dhelp. I'd rather go all in and get Mack.
  14. Yup. Let him go. He is good but can be replaced. I would draft another middle linebacker and move Edmunds outside. Didn't they cut Lewis last week? They compared him to Urlacher because both are 6'4 or 6'5 with crazy wingspans.
  15. Interesting premise. Darnold is terrible under pressure and Allen still has some hero ball in him. Darnold with these weapons is probably adequate. He seems more game manager than game breaker like Allen. Allen with no support in NY is probably a turnover machine trying to do too much to win.
  16. With the fact he double clutched the catch I completely see how the official ruled it on the field. I have no issue with that. But replay was clear he had possession and the ball broke the plane.
  17. Agree but we are nitpicking a little bit. That is a really long throw and he gave his WR a chance to make a play. 2019 Josh misses Diggs by 10 yards.
  18. 1. He's terrible 2. He's expensive 3. He's not good enough to move Edmunds to OLB if Milano can't play next week 4. He's taking up a roster spot they could use for a younger player to develop
  19. Not unless he can rush the passer. He played better than I thought he would. They either need to add a player to the DL or they simply need to play better as they get more experience together.
  20. Why? They have one of the best offenses in the league. They can win now. They have enough weapons to hang with KC and Baltimore. And that is why I advocate for a trade now to help the defense get after the passer.
  21. Fine first 7th round pick and more cash for second violation Suspend 1 game for third violation
  22. McD just said in his press conference Leslie was dialing up some nice calls in the second half.
  23. They all seemed like legitimate injuries. A couple were head and neck shots. The Bills were not in hurry up except for brief periods of the game so I doubt they were faking. If they sit out a play and are cleared to play let them back in. What are you talking about? First it began with Seattle and Chuck Knox against the Bengals. Second there is no such “out for a series” rule. It’s one play and they can come back.
  24. Like others have said, defense is terrible all over the NFL. 5 more teams lost scoring 25 points or more. I want them to make a move for a pass rusher but I also understand it is still early in the season with a lot of new guys. Maybe patience and time is the right answer. I liked it when Beane traded for KB and I hope he makes a move or two to improve the roster- I'd start with three moves- add a pass rusher, replace Bojo and Klein.
