When Allen accomplishes leading a team to the playoff's, and doing some damage in said playoff's, then I would feel comfortable calling him a winner. However, as of now? No, not yet.

A team should only ever trade up for a QB, no other position is worth it.

I was listening to that, and the caller was totally off base IMO. It seems a lot of fans want to go all tribal on Schopp and the Bulldog for not being homers like Murph & Tasker. My theory is Schopp has an issue with Black QB's now that he's adopted two black children, he goes out of his way to call racism when guys like Taylor are shown the door or guys like Jackson are not selected in lieu of a white player. Still, Bulldog's criticisms of Allen have been on par this season IMO.

Yeah, I mean the Sabres have the potential to be a "worst to first" story of the league. Most of the time the Bills dominate the local sports coverage, but IMO the Bills have to step aside a bit here while the Sabres do their thing.

A 1 point win over the Lions? Sabres are a much better sports story right now.

I think we were both fooled and Mayfield was the right pick. Browns actually picked the right guy this time, wow. I just don't see how Allen has "best QB in the NFL potential" with his completion percentage. I'm not sure as far as picking between Darnold and Allen at this point, neither has done enough to distance themselves from one the other.

He's the ultimate homer, looking to steal Chris Brown's job I think...

I wasn't happy with the draft, I wanted Darnold. I was pissed when the Jets traded up past the Bills. Rosen has always looked like a "point the finger at someone else" kinda guy.

I'm disappointed in Deonte Thompson on his 3rd stint as a Bill.

It might have to do with the "shortness" of the trip, I'm guessing cheaper tickets in Buffalo, and a lot of Bills fans staying home to watch on TV. Kind of like Leaf and Canadien fans at Sabres games.

I think he is a guy who has had a few decent games? It happens? If he doesn't flip the script soon he'll need to be replaced.

I can't say I follow the Panthers very much, but it seems to me they have had many more failed seasons with Newton as QB vs. successful seasons.
