  1. I guess the moral of the story is 50% completion isn't going to get it done long term (I don't believe it ever has in the NFL season after season, could be wrong though). What combination of completion% plus Allen's running plus D will? No idea, but 60%+ ideally is where you want your QB to be IMO.
  2. Foles really could have went out and got a starting job, but he seems much more laid back in that regard. That's why I think it's rare. Most players in his situation would have demanded a trade etc.
  3. McDermott traded up for him though. He's "supposed" to be a Robert Woods type player.
  4. I'm not sure the Lions ever had a D like the Panthers did. But not sure, can't say I ever follow the Lions...
  5. This thread makes no sense, it's a passing league, everyone knows that. Right?
  6. Yeah, I mean sure, but what is a 5th rounder though?
  7. Yeah, a win is a win. But it was the lions. We'll see long term how this works out.
  8. I imagine it would be quite deflating (hehe) to the Pats if the Bills went in there and beat them, but so very unlikely. I could not believe my eyes when I saw that.
  9. As long as he wins SB's, sure. iirc the stat was not for the game, but for the season...
  10. The problem is Zay Jones of 2018 isn't getting it done.
  11. Well, if Allen is oft injured, then things are not going to plan anyways. Ideally a backup just needs to be in QB meetings etc. I guess, fans should not care so much about backup players IMO.
  12. If the light had gone on for Zay Jones a few weeks ago, someone should tell him it's gone back off.
  13. Is Joe Flacco a top notch backup? What do you consider "top notch"?
  14. That's what you get out of that? Oh my...
  15. He can replace Zay Jones. Now they just need to go get a Julio Jones, somehow...
  16. His completion percentage is still quite worrisome. I don't believe he will go from ~50% to ~65% simply with "better" receivers next season, could be a real problem long term. They showed a stat during yesterdays game, Stafford is ~67% on the year so far, that's where Allen needs to be someday.
  17. He came back in but they had already amputated his leg due to cramps. His career might be in jeopardy with only one leg. Everyone deserves a second chance however...
  18. I disagree with that. It's far better to build a team through the draft.
  19. Wasn't he out of football when the Bills brought him in? Doesn't really sound like he's going to get a chance to be a starter.
  20. That sucks, a top 5 pick to trade down to pick a bunch of offensive players would have been nice.
