I've seen MANY concussions in sporting events like this where the player will be lying flat on his back, OUT COLD, but holding up one arm like he's reaching up to be picked up. It's sickening to see that stuff.

My feed just cut out at a bad time! What did the female reporter say? "HE has suffered head and neck injuries...." And THEN WHAT? Anything interesting? I missed that part.

I literally wrote something like that in the GDT for our game, saying he should NEVER have been allowed to play again in that game after exhibiting head trauma like that. Since then, I have learned that there is literally a rule saying you CANNOT return to the game if you exhibit signs of head trauma, which he clearly did. That's why Miami had to invent the story of it being his "neck" and not walking around punch drunk with noodle legs. Look at how easy he got dinged up tonight! That's why you don't play when you have recently suffered head trauma.

How are we so stupid in 2022?!?!?!? LOL This is FOOTBALL! That's how.

This is almost certainly related to last week! And if someone can show that somehow (might be difficult) I would think heads will roll. The entire protocol process might be changed. The moment he did that weird hand stuff (tonight) you know it's head trauma...and the fact that was concussed THAT EASILY shows you he had recent head trauma. We all said he shouldn't have played in our game, and he probably shouldn't have been playing tonight! We just saw why.

TNF Dolphins at Bengals pre-game talk

The Tua situation aside (which is interesting), this is becoming a seriously UGLY game. -

Hear Al??? "Neurological response to head trauma." No *****! He had a concussion last week and shouldn't have been playing in THAT game, and he probably still shouldn't be playing in THIS game. If he "clears" and plays in the 2nd half, I'll stop watching NFL football... ...for about 10 minutes. LOL If Tua is seriously hurt with head trauma, and it can be shown to related to head trauma in our game, heads might roll for this one. That would be a big story I would think. Like it might cause the whole protocol system to be changed. -

He reacted like he is playing when he shouldn't be. Maybe this will be a more serious injury. -

Any watch enthusiasts here? They keep showing McDaniel on the sideline, and he's wearing a HUGE gold Breitling Navitimer with four subdials! Total cheesy bling watch...it's so big for his skinny little wrist he looks ridiculous. It's something like this: -

The fact that his back was never injured may have something to do with it. 🤔 -

Waddle and Hill are the best receiving pair in Miami since Mark Clayton and Mark Duper. I used to hate those guys too. Miami getting yards just like Bengals did, only it looks easier for them. -

The "zebra" uniforms are an improvement for Cin. Ain't gonna happen. -
I hate white on white. Has nothing to do with any of that stuff. My complaints are purely aesthetic in nature.

Miami “Butt punt” changed from blocked punt to negative punt
Nextmanup replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is true. With the passage of enough time, that may be the only thing Bills fans commonly remember about the game. More than the heat problems, injury problems, the way we doubled and then some Miami's offensive production, or even the fact that we lost! It's all about the butt! -
HELL YES! Who doesn't love a little Kenny G ?????

The question posed by the OP is an interesting one, and I think it's certainly valid to look into. I'm not totally sure what the answer is. I remember Tom Brady making related comments maybe 4 years ago. He said a lot of QBs in the league run "wasted plays" meaning if they were doing their homework, they should have seen that what they called is not going to work based on what the D is doing, but they don't know that, so they run the play and it becomes a "wasted play" as it had no chance at success and maybe loses 1 yard, no gain, or gains 1 yard... Brady said he "hates" those types of wasted plays and trys to ensure that he never has them. I'm sure, over the long term, that's one of may reasons why he's the best of all time. So is Josh running "wasted plays" and he just doesn't know it yet? How would anyone here know?! He very well might be. I think it is clear and obvious he has gotten better and better at the mental side of the game, and he continues to evolve and get better. As his mental side of the game catches up to his physical talents, he'll only get deadlier and deadlier. Maybe he still has a way to go in pre-snap recognition. Seems logical to me.

Eric Wood actually commented on this, this week with Schopp and Bulldog. He said there is a regulation which says no team can erect a sun-blocking shield or what have you because it would interfere with fans' view of the field...which makes sense. But only if the shield would truly block someone's view. There is enough space down there to figure something out IMO, even if the players must sit down on the field inside the sun shelter. I think Miami should be allowed to screw with other teams in this way. But I think the visiting teams should be allowed to think their way out of the problem with temporary shields and what not. To allow 1 side to do what it wants but not the other is unfair.
