  1. My guess is that Beasley may have a quite night because of this. On the other hand Diggs & Davis my explode.
  2. I thought that was a great interview. Some of the better questions that I've seen Allen get. One thing that comes across loud and clear is that Allen is that rare person with immense raw talent combined with a blank canvas willingness to learn. This whole experiment has worked because of this willingness and kudos to Bean and McD for seeing it in Allen back in 2018.
  3. I will go to my death bed saying the lateral was NOT a crazy play. It was unconventional by NFL standards TODAY but back in the 1960's/1970's NFL players actually did that on a fairly regular basis. As for Allen's play in that game he was fantastic in the first half. If he had Diggs & Davis out their instead of Duke and whoever the Bills would have been up by at least 17 and probably 21 to nothing at half. And while Allen did get rattled a bit on two drives in the 4th quarter he got it back together again nicely at the end of the game to force OT. And in OT he made a couple of great throws and if just ONE of 3 Bills had got a hat on the Texan LB on that Allen run to the right, Josh likely takes it to the house and is the hero of that playoff game.
  4. I just watched the Knox TD and Diggs had a great cut block to help him score that TD. It's an incredibly unselfish play and gives you a sense of how much of a team player this guy is.
  5. Allen's game tonight was sublime. Even after taking that nasty sack in the 3rd quarter he led them on a TD drive. It was nice to see Knox starting to get involved in the passing game. I've got a feeling he is about to have a big game. Singleterry played very well and had a couple of nice catches. Beasley was a beast out there and Diggs quietly had a great night. The D bent but didn't break much when it mattered. Also got 2 more TOs that were big. I think we beat Pittsburgh by 2 scores Sunday night.
  6. So Washington's Alex Smith makes a mistake and takes the ball off the field and the Steelers are penalized by the refs who stop the clock because they didn't have a ball to spot? Are you paying attention coach Belicheat this is a great way to get your FG off when you have no TO's left. I'm getting sick and tired of the crappy officiating in the NFL. It's incompetence meets arbitrary enforcement. This a real problem the league ad better address. No need for a new rule just common sense by the morons in stripes. If the team with the ball does what Smith does the clock runs as the refs wait for a ball. Pretty simple IMO.
  7. I don't think Hill knew he caught it. If he did he would have told them to challenge.
  8. Justin Herbert meet Bill Belicheck. 56 attempts for under 250 yards, no TD's and 2 INT's. Cam Newton was 12/19 for 69 yards. Pats scored TD's on a punt return and blocked FG attempt.
  9. And don't count the Ravens out they could go on a role. Based on this performance Chris. WTH. Wait, Collingsworth just said something nice about the Bills, All is forgiven.
  10. NFL officiating sucks. That should have been a 15 yard penalty based on the TWO 15 yard penalties called on Buffalo for less egregious actions.
  11. And that's why they invented the fair catch Ray Ray!
  12. That was real close to being a TD. The DB lunges and barely takes out Gabes legs.
  13. Yep. This is a case where the average value is a deeply misleading number. I like the stat that looks at the number of teams with a winning record that you played and beat.
  14. I'm talking about the one they missed a couple of plays earlier where they just called an illegal contact on the guy covering Metcalf. Seattle got the 1st down on that play. Wilson did not get outside the tackles as he was peddling backwards and his pass was 5 yards short of the LOS.
  15. Wow the refs are trying real hard to make up for missing that intentional grounding by Wilson. Or they're just incompetent.
  16. That's my point. Some posters were acting like saying the Bills could go on a deep playoff run was crazy. Well it's no more crazy then saying after 11 games last year that the Titans would be going on a deep run.
  17. Now the announcers are ball licking the officials. I think I'm going to puke.
  18. How was that not grounding on Wilson? He was between the tackles about to be sacked and the ball didn't get back to the LOS. Instead the refs call a rink dink illegal contact? At minimum that should have been canceling penalties. I'm close to giving up on the NFL. This league is incompetently officiated. The minute the Bills slide back into irrelevance I'm out of here. High School & College football is better anyway. Now they throw a makeup flag. What the hell?
  19. The Bills making a deep playoff run this year is no less likely than thinking that Tennessee would make a deep playoff run at this time last season.
  20. As an out of conference game this is also the least important game that we play over the next 5 weeks. If I had to pick just one loss for the rest of the season this is the one I would pick. Sure I hope we go 5 - 0 but I would be thrilled to go 4 - 1. My guess is that SF sees it this way to.
  21. What the hell are you talking about? We won the game by 10 freaking points? Is this how it will be with you wrong Joshers? The first time we don't see Allen light up the stat sheet you're going to say "it wasn't good enough at the end"? At least wait until we lose to make such a lame point. I really can't wrap my head around this statement Penfield45.
  22. This is a great point. For some reason a lot of Bills fans, including their beat writers, call every Allen INT a "bad decision". You know sometimes the DB makes a great play or the D-line gets serious pressure as the QB is releasing the ball or the WR doesn't do what the QB expected. But in Buffalo none of this matters. Allen's INT's always seem to get described as "bad decisions". What I saw on that play was that Diggs was breaking open. If Allen had placed the ball higher there's a good chance that Diggs plucks it out of the air for a nice completion. Instead as Allen is following threw on his throw a defender hit his arm impacting the throw. That pick may have been a great decision by Allen throwing to a WR that ran a great route but ended up as an INT because of a great play by a D-lineman.
  23. If the DB turns around that would have likely been a TD pass to Diggs. The DB interfered for a reason.
